Chapter 1102: Chapter 1125: Having a Boy or a Girl is Fine

Even those who were unaware could tell the person who painted the painting had poured so much love into it.

After finishing the last stroke, Ye Ranran was about to examine it carefully when it was snatched away from her. Looking up, as expected, she saw Jun Mochan watching with interest.

"My wife has a really good memory," Jun Mochan said with a smile in his obsidian-like eyes.

Ye Ranran felt like her intentions had been seen through. She reached out to grab the painting back, "Give it back to me."

"It’s painted so well, how can I not appreciate it thoroughly?" Jun Mochan felt a desire to tease her.

"Go ahead, look," Ye Ranran, knowing she couldn’t win, gave up and covered her face with her hands, not wanting him to see her increasingly red face.

On one hand, she was indeed embarrassed; on the other, it was just her nature to blush easily.

She was so annoyed, without even understanding why she blushed.

"Feeling shy?" Jun Mochan asked, lowering his head with a curious look.

Ye Ranran turned away, not looking at him.

Jun Mochan sat beside her, "I am very happy."

If he hadn’t been filled with thoughts and eyes for her, she wouldn’t have scrutinized the painting so carefully, noticing even the tiniest details.

Hearing that he was happy, her expression eased slightly, although she didn’t speak, just looking at him.

Her wet, doe-like, innocent eyes tempted one to pin her down.

"Don’t look at me like that, or I might end up doing something," Jun Mochan warned her.

Ye Ranran boldly hooked her arms around his neck, leaning half of her body against him, "Are you planning to take advantage of me?"

Seizing the opportunity, Jun Mochan hugged her, his hand slipping under her hem, "Of course."

"Stop messing around," she was not in the condition right now.

Jun Mochan knew when to stop, lest he risk getting burned.

He returned the painting to Ye Ranran, "I really don’t understand why you bother with these paintings when I’m right here in front of you."

Ye Ranran smiled, not contradicting him. If it was superfluous, why did he always take so many photos to keep?

It was just to preserve the most beautiful moments in memory.

She seldom took photos and never boasted about anything; she just wanted to use her pen to capture the moments she didn’t want to forget.

And no matter when or where, the only thing she never wanted to forget was him.

When the sound of water started, Ye Ranran took a drawing clip from the drawer and slipped the painting inside; there was another one from last year.

She didn’t draw often, but isn’t there a lifetime for that?

It would be wonderful to look at them when they were old.

When it was time to sleep, Ye Ranran lay in Jun Mochan’s arms, "Do you want a boy or a girl?"

"You women always ask this question when you’re pregnant," Jun Mochan scoffed, "A boy or girl, it’s all good. Why fuss so much?"

It’s not like wanting a child guarantees you can have one. Anyway, she liked children; why not have several to make things more lively?

However, given how frail she was, one child would indeed be enough.

A boy would be raised well, a girl could marry into a good family; it was all the same.

No worry there.

Ye Ranran was provoked by Jun Mochan’s attitude; she lifted her head, glaring at him, "It seems you have no expectations at all. Have you not thought about me?"

Why was she suddenly angry? Jun Mochan felt it was absurd, but still soothed her gently, "Expecting? How could I not be? I am eagerly looking forward to the birth every day."
