The Twisted Obsession -
Chapter 197: Torture
Chapter 197: Torture
Perhaps, if he begged enough, if he pleaded with enough sincerity, Remo would show him mercy. Perhaps there was still a chance to redeem himself, to prove his worth once more he had worked for him since he started this business.
"Please, Alfonso," he whispered, his voice barely above a whisper. "I’ll do anything, just give me another chance. I swear, I’ll make it right..."
But Remo’s expression remained unchanged, his eyes cold and calculating as he regarded Vincent with a mix of disdain and disappointment. He had given him every opportunity to prove himself, every chance to redeem his past mistakes. And yet, in the end, he had proven himself unworthy of the trust that Remo had placed in him.
Remo’s voice cut through the tense silence like a knife, sending a chill down the spines of everyone in the room. His eyes, cold and unyielding, bore into Vincent as he delivered his ominous ultimatum.
"I’m going to let everyone watch and see what happens to people who defy me," Remo said, his tone laced with a quiet menace.
Vincent’s breath caught in his throat as he realized the gravity of Remo’s words. He had heard stories of what happened to those who crossed Remo, tales whispered in hushed tones among the ranks of the organization. But now, faced with the reality of his own betrayal, those stories took on a terrifying new significance.
Remo’s expression remained stone-cold as he watched Vincent being led into the center of the room. With a flick of his hand, he signaled for his men to step back, leaving Vincent isolated and vulnerable before him.
"Vincent," Remo’s voice cut through the silence, icy and devoid of mercy. "You thought you could betray me and live to tell the tale?"
Vincent’s breath caught in his throat as he met Remo’s unyielding gaze, a cold sweat breaking out on his brow as he struggled to maintain his composure.
"Please, Alfonso," Vincent pleaded, his voice barely above a whisper. "I didn’t mean to..."
But Remo silenced him with a single, chilling look.
"You had your chance," Remo said, his tone final and unforgiving.
Vincent’s breath caught in his throat as he met Remo’s cold, calculating gaze, a shiver running down his spine at the sheer intensity of his stare. He opened his mouth to speak, but Remo silenced him with a sharp gesture.
"No words," Remo spat, his tone venomous. "You’ve already said enough with your actions."
With a flick of his wrist, Remo signaled for his men to bring forth the tools of his trade – instruments of pain and suffering that sent a chill down Vincent’s spine. His heart pounded in his chest as he realized what was about to happen, but there was nowhere to run, nowhere to hide from Remo’s justice.
Remo’s smile widened as he selected his first instrument – a length of thick, coiled wire that glinted menacingly in the dim light of the room. With practiced precision, he approached Vincent, his movements slow and deliberate as he toyed with him like a cat with its prey.
Vincent’s heart raced as Remo drew closer, the cold steel of the wire sending shivers down his spine. With a sudden, brutal motion, Remo lashed out, the wire slicing through the air with a sickening whistle before biting into Vincent’s flesh.
Agony exploded across Vincent’s body as the wire cut deep, tearing through skin and muscle with ruthless efficiency. He cried out in pain, his voice mingling with the metallic tang of blood as it filled the air.
But Remo showed no mercy, his movements precise and calculated as he continued to wield the wire like a sadistic artist, each stroke leaving behind a trail of destruction in its wake.
As Vincent’s screams grew hoarse and ragged, Remo’s grin only widened, his eyes alight with a delight. He reveled in the sight of Vincent’s suffering, each cry of pain a symphony to his ears.
The people in the room watched in stunned silence as Vincent’s whimpering cries of pain filled the air, the sound of his suffering a chilling reminder of the depths of Remo’s cruelty.
Some looked away, unable to bear the sight of such brutal torment inflicted upon a fellow member of their organization. Others remained frozen in place, their faces twisted in a mixture of horror and disbelief at the sheer brutality of Remo’s punishment.
But the wire was only the beginning. With a cruel laugh, Remo set it aside and moved on to his next instrument—a pair of gleaming pliers that promised a different kind of torment.
"Did you use these hands to steal from me?" Remo asked.
With meticulous care, he grasped hold of Vincent’s fingers, one by one, and began to twist and pull with a relentless force that defied imagination.
Bone snapped and splintered under his grip, and Vincent’s screams reached a fever pitch as unimaginable agony tore through his body.
With a cruel laugh, he leaned in close, his voice a venomous whisper that sent a chill down Vincent’s spine.
"Vincent," he began, his tone cold and unforgiving, "I wouldn’t find out? You dare steal from me? You risked everything, not for your family, but for your mistress."
Vincent’s blood ran cold as Remo’s words hung in the air, each syllable a damning indictment of his actions. He had gambled everything on a fleeting passion, leaving his family in the shadows while he pursued his own selfish desires.
"And what of your wife?" Remo continued, his voice dripping with disdain. "The woman who stood by your side through thick and thin, who bore your children and shared your life. Did you even consider her, or were you too blinded by lust to see the pain you were causing?"
Vincent whimpered in agony as the pain seared through his body, each breath a struggle against the darkness that threatened to engulf him. Blood seeped from the deep wounds inflicted by Remo’s merciless torture, staining the cold, hard floor beneath him with crimson pools of his own life’s essence.
But Remo was not finished. With a calculated cruelty, he twisted the plier even further, his words a relentless assault on Vincent’s already shattered conscience.
"You are a disgrace," Remo spat, his voice filled with contempt. "A coward and a traitor, unworthy of the trust and loyalty I bestowed upon you. And now, you will pay the price for your sins."
