Chapter 178: Dark Side
Remo hovered over Abby, his breath hitching as desire surged through him. "What do you want tonight?" he asked, his voice husky with anticipation. "I promised you a night of indulging in your sexual desires."
Abby’s heart raced at his words, her pulse quickening with excitement. She took a moment to gather her courage before meeting his intense gaze. "I want your dark side," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. "I know you’ve been holding back with me, but I don’t want you to anymore. I want to see the side of you that you’ve been hiding from me. Your dark, twisted side.
Remo’s heart pounded in his chest as he hovered over Abby, his mind racing with conflicting emotions. Her request sent a shockwave through him, awakening a side of himself he had long kept buried. He had always prided himself on his self-control, on keeping his darker impulses in check, especially when it came to Abby. But now, faced with her bold plea, he felt the walls he had built around himself crumbling.
"I’m not... I can’t..." he stammered, his voice thick with uncertainty and fear. "Abby, you don’t understand. I have... demons."
Abby met his gaze unwaveringly, her eyes blazing with determination. "I know," she whispered, her voice barely above a breath. "And I want to see them."
Remo’s resolve wavered as he searched her eyes, seeing nothing but trust and unwavering faith reflected back at him. "But I could... I might..." he faltered, his words trailing off as he struggled to articulate the chaos raging inside him.
"Do you trust me?" Abby asked, her voice firm and unwavering.
Remo hesitated, the weight of her question heavy on his shoulders. Slowly, reluctantly, he nodded, his eyes betraying the turmoil within.
Abby reached out, her touch gentle as she traced a finger along his jawline. "Then trust me when I say I want all of you, Remo. The light and the darkness."
"I’m not sure that’s a good idea, Abby," he replied, his voice strained with uncertainty. "You don’t know what you’re asking for."
Abby reached up, gently brushing her fingertips against his cheek, her touch sending shivers down his spine. "I know exactly what I’m asking for," she said, her voice soft but resolute. "I want to see all of you, Remo. Even the parts you’ve kept hidden from me."
Remo’s heart twisted with conflict as he looked down at her, torn between his desire to protect her and his longing to give her what she wanted. "But you don’t understand," he protested, his voice tinged with desperation. "I have a darkness inside me, Abby. It’s not something I can control."
Abby’s eyes softened with understanding as she gazed up at him, her expression filled with unwavering trust. "I understand more than you realize," she whispered, her voice a soothing balm to his troubled soul
Remo’s gaze softened as he looked into Abby’s eyes, his own turmoil reflected in their depths. He wanted to give her everything she desired, to fulfill her every fantasy, but the fear of losing control held him back.
"I can’t, Abby," he whispered, his voice strained with emotion. "I can’t risk hurting you. I won’t let myself."
Abby smiled softly, her hands gently cradling his face as she searched his eyes for any sign of doubt. "Do you need me?" she asked softly, her heart aching at the sight of his inner turmoil.
Remo’s resolve wavered, his walls crumbling under the weight of her unwavering support. "Always," he confessed, his voice tinged with a mix of longing and self-loathing.
With a deep breath, Abby leaned in closer, her lips brushing against his in a tender caress. "You won’t hurt me, Remo," she assured him, her voice filled with conviction. "I trust you, and I believe in us."
Remo’s face scrunched up, a mix of anguish and frustration evident in his expression as he averted his gaze to the floor. "I don’t trust myself with you," he admitted, his voice strained with emotion. "You’re so fragile."
"I’m not," Abby swallowed, refusing to let go of his face as she gently guided it back to meet her eyes.
As Remo’s face contorted with conflict, Abby held his gaze firmly, refusing to back down. "I’m not scared of you," she asserted, her voice steady despite the turmoil raging within her own heart.
A flicker of something dark flashed across Remo’s features, a look Abby had never seen before. It was chilling, devoid of the playful mischief she had grown accustomed to. But she refused to let it intimidate her.
"You should be," Remo warned, his voice gravelly with a dangerous edge as he tightened his grip on her waist, his eyes never leaving hers.
"Well, I’m not," Abby shot back defiantly, her pulse racing with adrenaline as she met his gaze head-on. "You can’t scare me."
Remo’s expression darkened further, a predatory glint entering his eyes as he leaned in closer, his breath hot against her skin. "Really?" he taunted, his voice a low growl that sent shivers down Abby’s spine.
Without warning, Remo tore at the fabric of Abby’s nightgown, the sound of fabric ripping filling the room as he pulled her close, his lips crashing against hers in a rough, demanding kiss. Abby melted into his embrace, her senses overwhelmed by the intensity of his touch.
His taste was intoxicating, a dangerous allure that drew her in despite the warning bells ringing in the back of her mind. She groaned against his lips, her desire fueling his own as he deepened the kiss, his grip on her waist tightening with possessiveness.
But then, in a sudden shift, Remo’s demeanor changed. He withdrew from the kiss, his hand wrapping around Abby’s throat with a vice-like grip that left her gasping for air. Panic surged through her veins as she whimpered under his grasp, the pressure on her throat growing more suffocating with each passing moment.
"Still not scared?" Remo whispered, his voice dripping with menace as he leaned in closer, his eyes boring into hers with a predatory intensity that sent a shiver down Abby’s spine.
