Chapter 158: Good little boy
As Remo and Abby enjoyed the fireworks display, Tony and Olivia found themselves standing at another spot on the yacht, away from them but still with a clear view of the colorful spectacle lighting up the sky.
Tony leaned against the railings, his arms folded as he watched the fireworks burst and dance across the night sky. Olivia stood beside him, as she gazed out at the breathtaking scene before them.
"It’s beautiful, isn’t it?" Tony remarked, his voice filled with awe as he watched the vibrant colors painting the darkness.
Olivia nodded, a smile playing at the corners of her lips. "Absolutely stunning," she agreed.
"You’re smiling," Tony commented casually, as if he couldn’t believe it.
Olivia’s expression hardened, her eyes narrowing slightly as she turned to face him. "And you’re observant," she retorted, her tone laced with sarcasm.
Tony seemed unfazed by Olivia’s cold demeanor, his smile widening. "Can’t help but notice when someone’s enjoying themselves," he remarked, his gaze lingering on her face.
Olivia’s jaw clenched as she resisted the urge to roll her eyes. "Well, I’m not enjoying myself," she snapped, her frustration bubbling to the surface.
Tony’s smile didn’t waver as he met Olivia’s sarcasm head-on. "Ah, I see," he replied, his tone dripping with mock understanding.
"Must be my mistake then. Thought the fireworks were for everyone’s enjoyment, but I guess I was wrong."
He raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes, before turning his attention back to the fireworks display, leaving Olivia seething with frustration at his effortless comeback.
Olivia’s frustration boiled over as she confronted Tony. "Why can’t you just leave me alone and pretend I’m not here?" she asked, her voice edged with exasperation.
Tony remained unfazed by Olivia’s frustration, his expression calm as he responded, "I’m just trying to make conversation, Olivia.
No need to get worked up." He shrugged casually, as if her irritation was of little consequence to him.
Olivia clenched her jaw, feeling a surge of annoyance at Tony’s nonchalant attitude. "Well, your attempts at conversation aren’t exactly welcome," she retorted, her tone sharp.
"Ouch, thought you enjoyed our conversations," Tony said, his tone carrying a hint of disappointment
Tony’s retort stung, and Olivia felt a surge of frustration rise within her. "Well, maybe I did," she shot back, her voice tinged with annoyance. "But that was before you decided to ignore boundaries."
Tony’s smile remained fixed, but there was a hint of tension in his eyes. "I’m just trying to be friendly, Olivia," he insisted, his tone earnest.
"Maybe your definition of friendly needs some adjustment," Olivia retorted, her irritation bubbling to the surface. "Because right now, you’re just being annoying."
Tony moved closer to her and the sudden proximity made Olivia’s heart race, but she refused to let him see how much his presence affected her. "Annoying? Are you sure?" he asked, his tone teasing as he gripped her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze.
She tried to maintain her composure, but Tony’s smug expression and playful pout made it difficult to resist. "Did you miss me?" he asked, changing the subject abruptly.
Olivia’s immediate response was to deny any feelings of longing, to push him away as she always did. "No," she replied sharply, her words coming out more harshly than intended. "No, I didn’t miss you, why would I?"
Tony clicked his tongue disapprovingly, his scowl softened by the playful glint in his eyes. "Lying isn’t very nice, and you’re terrible at it," he chided gently.
Olivia fought to ignore the prickling sensation that spread across her skin at his closeness, the warmth of his fingers against her chin. She knew she was teetering on the edge of falling back into the familiar pattern of their complicated relationship, and she refused to let herself be consumed by it again.
With a determined effort, Olivia pulled her face away from Tony’s hand, clinging to the last shreds of her resolve. She needed to stay strong, to keep him at arm’s length, no matter how tempting it was to give in to the pull between them.
"So why does it matter if I missed you or not?" Olivia asked, her voice trembling slightly.
"Because you, Livy," Tony replied earnestly, his tone softening as he spoke. "I missed you. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you, how you feel, your moans and screams, your touch," he confessed, his words low and intimate as he pressed a faint kiss to the corner of her mouth.
Olivia’s skin burned at his touch, her breath catching in her throat as she struggled to control her racing heartbeat. She knew she should stop him, push him away, but she found herself unable to resist the pull of his closeness.
"Tony," she gasped, her voice barely above a whisper. "We shouldn’t be - this shouldn’t be happening. I can’t do this."
Her words hung heavy in the air, a testament to the inner conflict raging within her. She knew that giving in to Tony would only lead to more heartache, but the desire to be close to him, to feel his touch, was almost overwhelming. Yet, she also knew that she needed to stay true to herself, to protect her heart from further pain.
"I can’t forget you, and it drives me insane," Tony murmured, his lips brushing against Olivia’s ear. "I heard you got a new boyfriend? You guys are no more, right? Did that boyfriend give you what you want?"
Tony’s words sent a shockwave through Olivia’s body, her heart racing as he gripped her hips and pulled her closer to him,
Her blood scorched through her veins, her stomach twisting into a knot so tight it was almost painful. She squeezed her eyes shut, trying desperately to block out the sensations coursing through her.
"Did he let you take control in the bedroom?" Tony continued, his voice low and raspy. "Was he aware of how much you enjoyed being in control—Mistress?"
Olivia’s breath caught in her throat, her mind reeling with a mixture of desire and apprehension.
Tony’s breath was hot against Olivia’s lips as he whispered hoarsely, "Was he a good little boy for you?"
The oxygen seemed to leave Olivia’s body in short, heaving huffs as she kept her eyes closed, too scared to open them. She knew that meeting Tony’s gaze would shatter any remaining self-control she had left.
"How is he doing these things to me?" Olivia wondered silently, her mind swirling with confusion and desire.
"Answer me, Livy," Tony growled, his tone demanding. "Did he do the things I can do for you?"
Swallowing the dry feeling in her mouth, Olivia pressed her lips together and shook her head, hoping her actions would suffice as a response.
Tony released her, pulling back slightly to look at her with a wide grin. "See, that wasn’t so hard to admit now, was it?" he remarked triumphantly before turning and walking away, leaving Olivia alone with her turbulent thoughts and conflicting emotions.
