Chapter 151: Chapter 151: Roll Call Turmoil (3)

"Thank you?"

"Isn’t that right?" Edward Davis curved his lips, "If it weren’t for me, how could you have your birthday party all to yourself? Right? And about you drugging someone, I didn’t tell anyone at all, isn’t that considerate enough to deserve a thank you?"

"You’re crazy."

"Heh." Edward Davis chuckled, "Are you angry out of embarrassment?"

Mia Ginger stopped walking, fixed her gaze on him, "Aren’t you overthinking it? I drugged Zuri Ginger, why would I drug her!"

"That’s none of my business." Edward Davis couldn’t be bothered to think.

"It wasn’t me." Mia Ginger took a deep breath, patiently said, "I wouldn’t stoop so low as to do such a despicable thing. As for you, believe it or not, as for taking credit for this? Sorry, you’ve really got the wrong person."

"Such a sharp tongue." Edward Davis snorted, leaned in close to her ear, "But I like it."

The two were very close.

Edward Davis’s nose was almost pressed against her soft skin.

A unique sweet scent from the girl wafted to his nose.

Made him lose his composure.

Mia Ginger pressed her lips together, just as he was getting closer, she grabbed his arm with one hand, swiftly lifted her leg, and her knee went straight out.

"Ah!"

Edward Davis let out a scream like a slaughtered pig, falling back against the wall.

The two men who had just left the restroom were startled.

"How does it feel?" Mia Ginger looked down at Edward Davis, leaned slightly, curling her lips, "Still like it?"

"You!"

Edward Davis swallowed hard, in too much pain to speak.

"So Young Master Davis enjoys being abused." Mia Ginger dusted her hands off and straightened up, regretfully said, "Sorry, I typically don’t enjoy bullying people."

After saying this, she didn’t care about the two bystanders watching in shock, and walked off confidently.

"Wow, girls these days are really fierce!"

Watching her slender figure, one man swallowed hard.

The other glanced at Edward Davis with concern, hesitated and asked, "Need help?"

"Get lost." Edward Davis shouted.

"Tsk, serves you right to have your balls broken." The young man snorted with a bad attitude and walked away.

Edward Davis was momentarily stunned, nearly fainting from anger.

Mia Ginger was no longer in a good mood.

After dinner, she parted ways with Zoey Leaf and went straight home.

——

A few days passed in a blur.

On September 6th, the new semester at Cloud Capital University began for freshmen.

Mia Ginger got up bright and early.

Dragging a small leather suitcase, she went to the school on her own to register.

She was beautiful, and several senior students at the freshman reception vied to guide her, so she didn’t go the wrong way.

By a little past eleven, she had completed all the registration procedures.

She arrived at the dormitory building.

Downstairs, bedding, mosquito nets, and other living supplies were stacked and categorized, requiring receipts to collect.

Mia Ginger thought for a moment and first took her suitcase upstairs.

She was in dorm room 339.

The door was slightly ajar, and someone was already inside.

Mia Ginger steadied herself and pushed the door open.

It was a well-lit six-person room, with each person having a set of bed and cabinets. The upper level was a wooden bed, below was a complete set of desks and cabinets, all painted in a soothing pale green. The left side had separated partitions for placing items, with a row of shelves above, and below the shelves was a computer desk, which connected to a wardrobe to the right, followed by a shoe cabinet.

Although small, it was fully furnished, just about enough space for one person.

Mia Ginger withdrew her gaze.

The girl who was sweeping the floor turned around and smiled, asking, "You must be Windsor Myres, right?"
