The Strongest Mythical Emperor
Chapter 1622 Northern Primordial Supreme King Nanlan

Chapter 1622: Chapter 1622 Northern Primordial Supreme King Nanlan

The boundless continent shattered, transforming into a violent storm of stones, with weaker cultivators vomiting blood and sent flying back upon impact.

The aura of the Ling Emperor grew increasingly powerful, causing the hearts of billions to tremble.

Yet most beings did not feel fear; instead, they were ecstatic. Such a formidable presence was befitting of the Ling Emperor.

"He is stronger than before."

The Qing Emperor murmured softly, his subordinates behind him remained silent, all lost in shock.

The sheer intensity of the Ling Emperor’s aura left them unable to muster even a trace of resistance or defiance.

Soon, the beings’ gazes converged on a towering figure amidst the rolling dust cloud. Though it was merely a silhouette, it still exuded an unparalleled domineering presence.

"Ling Emperor!"

A being suddenly shouted loudly, like a rock crashing into the lake, stirring ripples and shattering the silence.

"Ling Emperor! Ling Emperor! Ling Emperor..."

The beings began to chant for the Ling Emperor, their faces brimming with fervor.

Their chants melded into a collective roar, reverberating across the Primordial cosmos.

The Qing Emperor’s expression darkened slightly. As the arbiter of the Southern Primordial, he had never received such admiration, making him feel somewhat envious.

"How long have I slept?"

The Ling Emperor’s voice floated softly, yet it drowned out all the other beings’ voices.

No being answered him, for none knew how long the Ling Emperor had slept.

"It’s been about nine trillion years since your last awakening."

Suddenly, the Qing Emperor’s voice echoed, infinitely detached, making his inner emotions unreadable.

When the beings shifted their gaze to the Qing Emperor, they burst into an uproar.

Only now did they realize the Qing Emperor had arrived as well. As the arbiter of the Southern Primordial and once personally guided by the Primordial gods, his transcendent presence elevated the Ling Emperor’s standing even further.

In comparison to the Ling Emperor, the Qing Emperor could only be considered a junior.

"So long... Who’s the strongest in the Primordial now?"

The Ling Emperor’s figure still remained veiled in the dust cloud, but the oppressive pressure he emitted was unmatched.

"The Supreme King Nanlan of the Northern Primordial."

The Qing Emperor replied. Uttering this name sent shockwaves through the billions of beings.

The Supreme King Nanlan’s renown within the Primordial was unparalleled and universally known.

As one of the last generation’s Primordial beings, with extraordinary talent, he ascended step by step, defeating countless formidable foes to ascend as the Undefeated Emperor, the strongest in the Primordial as things stood—at least on the surface.

"Supreme King Nanlan..."

The Ling Emperor muttered the name, and the beings listening grew excited.

Given the Ling Emperor’s nature, he would inevitably challenge Supreme King Nanlan!

A world-shattering battle to determine the ultimate Primordial powerhouse was about to unfold!

...

The Milky Way Galaxy, Earth.

This blue planet remained magnificently beautiful amidst the universe, with a constant stream of spaceships and small aircraft flying in and out, brimming with the essence of a technological age.

Qin Jun strolled through the cosmos, gazing upon this scene, his tightly furrowed brows never easing.

"As expected, a great deal of time has passed."

Qin Jun sighed inwardly. Ever since he teleported from Earth to now, at least thirty years had elapsed.

He’d always worried that Earth’s timeline would differ from that of the Xuandang Great World.

Now that he had returned to Earth, his fears were confirmed.

Oddly enough, he had previously tried searching for traces of Earth within the Ancient Holy Emperor Paths but found nothing—unexpectedly, during his battle against the Extreme Emperor, he stumbled upon it within reincarnation.

Based on the information he learned from Mo Jingcang, there is more than one Ancient Holy Emperor Path.

The Eastern, Western, Southern, and Northern Primordials are connected by countless Ancient Holy Emperor Paths, stretching even within the Primordial layers, seemingly interlinked with one another. No one knows where these paths start or end—or their true origins. It seems Earth resides within one of the Ancient Holy Emperor Paths belonging to an alternate Primordial.

Qin Jun’s form flickered, stepping into Earth.

"Ding! Side quest completed—Return to Earth! Rewards: One Extreme Awakening opportunity, one God and Demon summoning opportunity, one God and Demon Peak opportunity, and one God and Demon Dungeon opportunity!"

As he skimmed the clouds, the system’s notification rang in Qin Jun’s mind.

It signified that everything before him was no dream.

Qin Jun had already used his Divine Consciousness to assess Earth’s current situation.

It was now the year 2094!

Before he teleported, it had been 2031. In other words, sixty-three years had passed.

Earth had entered an epoch of interstellar civilization. Though its exploration was still confined within the solar system, it was far more advanced than when he had left.

Qin Jun wasn’t disheartened—in fact, he sensed that his father remained alive on Earth.

By his calculations, his father was a hundred and sixteen years old, a testament to longevity. His mother, however, was no longer alive.

Soon, he arrived at a city street, where his Wují Primordial Robes transformed into a shirt and trousers to match Earth’s attire.

On either side of the street, tall buildings lined the roadway, countless tireless cars above Qin Jun’s head, all airborne.

Buildings soared into the clouds, with the tallest reaching up to a kilometer.

Walking leisurely forward, guided by the Divine Consciousness’s intel, Qin Jun learned that his father was seated in a park ahead, alongside a girl pushing his wheelchair.

Meanwhile, within the park.

The scent of fresh grass lingered as mostly middle-aged and elderly individuals came and went. At the park’s center stood a thousand-year-old tree, under which a young girl in a white dress pushed an elderly man whose hair was all white and whose muddy eyes were clouded by age spots. Despite everything, as he listened to her speak, a faint smile emerged on his face.

"Grandpa Zeng, I’ve been accepted into college! Soon, I’ll attend the top lunar academy, and I’ll become a great interstellar pilot in the future."

The girl said brightly, gently brushing back a strand of hair to reveal her fair cheek.

She looked to be only seventeen or eighteen years old, lively and vibrant, the picture of a blossoming youth.

It was then that Qin Jun appeared ten meters away.

Upon seeing Qin Jun, the old man’s murky pupils shifted slightly, but he didn’t display any particular surprise.

The girl also noticed Qin Jun and froze momentarily. Qin Jun’s features were strikingly handsome, even perfection itself. With his transcendent cultivation, even stellar screen idols in the intergalactic media paled in comparison, causing a brief loss of composure.

Qin Jun walked straight to the elderly man and squatted before him, looking into his eyes with a smile. "It’s been a long time."

A long time?

The girl snapped out of her daze and immediately asked cautiously, "Who are you?"

The old man stared into Qin Jun’s eyes, as though recalling something, growing visibly more excited. With great difficulty, he opened his mouth and stammered, "You... you’re..."

"It’s me. I’ve come back to see you."

Qin Jun grasped the elder’s withered hand gently and spoke softly.

"Hey, who exactly are you? Let go of my Grandpa Zeng!" The girl warned urgently, entirely unfamiliar with Qin Jun.

"He’s your Grandpa Zeng?" Qin Jun asked curiously.

It seemed that during his time away, his parents had another child. He could sense the girl shared a blood connection with his father.
