Chapter 93: Why Not Join My Side?

Jasmine was just watching as the attack was about to land on her when suddenly, then necromancer in front of her retreated. In fact, it was not like it retreated at will, but instead, it was as if it had been blown backwards.

And true to her thoughts, several arrows began raining down from the sky. The group of skeleton warriors that had surrounded them were all blasted into pieces.

In no time, the surrounding few hundred meters of Jasmine and her group was finally almost empty of any standing creature other than them. Instead, the area was filled with deep craters and piles of white bones.

And just at that moment, a figure rushed through the crowd of skeleton warriors that were still charging forward. And with just a single attack of the claw, several skeletons were shredded into pieces.

The speed of that figure was incredible, in that, the skeleton warriors were not able to react before they were dismantled into a pile of bones.

When she saw this, Jasmine was suddenly excited. At this moment, she realized that Diana and Storm had come over. Previously, she had thought that the two of them had remained behind, but it seemed that she was wrong.

Additionally, she was grateful to Henry. After all, had he not instructed Diana and storm to make sure that she was safe, then, she would not only have managed to take the food back to where her father was, but also, in this situation now, she would have died as well.

"Before going out, you have to make sure that you have the ability to protect yourself. I’m sure that if I didn’t come on time, you would have already perished by now. And this would have made my master blame me." Diana said coldly as she approached Arthur’s group that was still dumbfounded.

Previously, they had almost gotten overwhelmed. But in the next moment, rain of arrows began descending from the sky, destroying all the skeleton warriors that had surrounded them.

Jasmine did not reply. But still, she also felt slightly guilty. After all, this matter concerned her family, and, it was her brother’s choice to leave. Additionally, her brother was the one that had brought over all these skeleton warriors.

That implied that, if her brother was allowed to reach the underground basement, then, there was bound to be a massacre.

Just from this, it was enough proof that her brother really didn’t need leniency from other people. For his own benefits, he completely disregarded the lives of other people, including his family.

It was also at this moment that Jasmine finally began thinking the matter through. Although it was true that she really cared about her brother, currently, what her brother had done was unforgivable.

Had Diana and Storm not come over, then she would have died. And not only her, but even Arthur and the group that had accompanied her. Additionally, her father and her little sister would also be implicated in the matter.

With Diana and Storm, the skeleton warriors that had been overwhelming Jasmine’s group was suddenly reduced into a group of moth that was running towards a flame.

No matter how many of them attacked, they were easily neutralized by Diana and Storm. The two of them did not have to spend much energy dealing with creatures of such a low level. After all, there was not even a single one of them that had reached the Bronze rank.

With the two of them being SSS grade summoned creatures, even apocalyptic creatures of the same level and power rank as them were not their match, not to mention those that were at a lower rank than them.

"This is completely unexpected. Even though I believe that perhaps there might be a group of geniuses present within the human race, I had never expected that there was actually a group that was this strong." At this moment, a heavy and musky voice reached the ears of Diana and the rest.

However, before the Necromancer could finish what he was saying, an arrow was shot towards him. This move was completely unexpected for him but still, he reacted deftly.

Without any hesitation, he summoned a dark dome in front of him. And in the next moment, the arrow that had been released by Diana finally collided with the barrier.

Bang! Boom!

A loud collision sound suddenly rang into the air. And in the next moment, a huge shockwave swept through the surroundings. The necromancer on the other hand was also forced to retreat a few steps backwards.

The remaining two necromancers were also forced to retreat. Luckily, they also reacted in time, and set up barriers that protected them from the shockwave. They also protected Xavier from being eliminated by the shockwave. At the end of the day, he was just a normal human.

The eyes of the leading Necromancer looked at Diana with horror. He had never expected that Diana was this strong. All this while, she had not been using her full strength considering that the opponent she was encountering this time was just a piece of cake to handle.

Diana did not respond. Instead, she attacked once again. And looking at Diana’s serious and angry expression, the necromancer realized that there was no way that the two of them were going to cooperate.

Without hesitation, he used the scythe in his hands to parry away the arrow that was heading towards him. But still, he was forced to take a step backwards by the incredible force that was contained within the arrow.

This made his expression become stern. After all, it was not long ago that he was expecting Diana to submit to him, but in the end, it seemed that she was way stronger than he believed.

Still, since Diana was not willing to submit to him, then, he was going to force her. Even if he had to kill her, he believed that he had to get Diana into the ranks of his undead army.

Even though killing her would reduce the quality of the undead, but still, it was way better than converting the zombies into skeleton warriors.

But just as he was about to charge forward, he suddenly sensed danger. And in the next moment, he set up a barrier once again.

Storm’s claw landed heavily on the barrier, causing another shock wave to erupt. Xavier and the others had already retreated, because they were not capable of matching the ones that were fighting.

The lead Necromancer felt his pupils dilating as he looked at Storm. He had never expected that the wolf was just as strong as Diana was. That implied that currently, he was facing two incredulously strong opponents.
