"Why did you do this?!" Jasmine shouted as she looked at Xavier. She couldn’t believe that this was the behavior of her younger brother. She really didn’t want to believe it.

"Why did I do this you ask? Do you really have the audacity to ask me why I did this?! Of course I did all of this because of you! You completely restrained my freedom, preventing me from doing what I like, making me live a life that revolves around you! Do you think that I don’t have a life that I wish to live?" Xavier roared in anger as his eyes became bloodshot as he looked at Jasmine.

"Everyday, I will get nagged that I did something wrong. Xavier, you did that wrong. No, Xavier, you are not supposed to do this. Do you know how much face I lost in front of my friends?"

"My friends are fully free, their parents don’t control them. Their siblings don’t decide for them what they are supposed to do. But what about me? Everything that I do, I have to consult my father or my sister."

When she heard his words, Jasmine’s expression shifted once again. At the same time, her eyes became determined. This time, she was determined on beating up Xavier until he came back to his senses.

She believed that the Xavier in front of her was not in his right state of mind. So, she had to ensure that her brother came back to his senses.

Xavier who had been laughing previously suddenly stopped. At the same time, the ferocious expression that was on his face disappeared, as he became as timid as a rabbit.

"Yes master." Xavier replied before taking a step back, and lowering his head in respect.

"You idiot! You want your freedom yet you are agreeing to become a servant? Do you believe that you have achieved any freedom now? You are nothing than a puppet right now! But don’t worry, I’m going to make sure that you are back to your senses after I beat you up." Jasmine shouted as lightning began flashing around her body.

Xavier was infuriated by her words. He felt that his sister was mocking him despite being at a disadvantage. He was just about to talk, when suddenly, the figure waved his hand.

"I don’t like this kind of lightning. But, I will like it if it became black lightning instead." As he said that, he waved his hand forward, and the group of skeletons that was standing on the side suddenly charged forward.

Jasmine did not retreat. Instead, as lightning began flashing in hand, Arthur finally let go of her. Finally released, Jasmine could finally release all the power in her body.

As the first skeleton approached her, she didn’t waste time and shot a lightning bolt towards the head of the skeleton.

The power of the lightning was not to be underestimated. The moment that it connected with the skull of the skeleton warrior, it immediately blasted it into dust.

The lightning bolt did not stop at that, but instead, it continued moving forward and attacked three more skeletons. Of course, Jasmine did not stop at that, she continued attacking.

Arthur under the group of six did not stay idle as well. Instead, they used their weapons and magic to attack. Even though they were not that strong, at least, they possessed incredible abilities.

Even though they were standing back to back, ensuring that they did not leave any blind spot, still, dealing with such a group of skeleton warriors was not easy.

Jasmine had already felt that the energy that was in her body had already gone past three quarters. But, the number of the skeleton warriors was not diminishing at all.

She could not help but wonder if she was not going to be capable of saving her brother. After all, if she was not able to deal with this group of skeleton warriors, then, there was no way that she was going to reach Xavier.

With determination in her eyes, she decided to target the necromancers. Since she knew that they were the ones that were controlling this group of skeleton warriors, she believed that as long as she took care of them, then this group of skeleton warriors was going to be easily dealt with.

So, as she attacked, she began moving in the direction of the necromancers. Arthur and the others also noticed this, and they followed suit. They tried to make sure that they opened the way for Jasmine, ensuring that not even a single attack landed on her.

They knew that Jasmine was a mage, so, she was weak to physical attacks. All that they had to do was to ensure that she was not harmed.

Jasmine’s plan worked. She finally arrived in front of a necromancer. Even though there was still a distance of about 200 m between the two of them, Jasmine did not hesitate to attack.

This time, she mobilized a large amount of the remaining energy and formed a large bolt of lightning that she launched towards the necromancer.
