The Soul System in the Apocalypse -
Chapter 411: Decision
Chapter 411: Decision
"Well, I guess you have a great advantage. After all, the entire world is currently filled with dark creatures." Henry stated with a simple smile on his face.
Rachel blinked her eyes as she looked at Henry expectantly. "Should I go out to hunt right now? If I go out right now, I am pretty sure that I will be able to rise by at least a single level today."
Henry could not help but feel a little speechless after hearing what Rachel had said. It seemed that she was so eager to kill apocalyptic creatures so that she could level up.
Of course Henry did not doubt Rachel’s words about being capable of leveling up by at least a single level by the end of the day if she went out at that moment.
First of all, during the third stage of the apocalypse, the humans had gained an advantage where they were capable of leveling up way faster as compared to before. Additionally, if added to the advantage that she possessed when she killed dark creatures, it was obvious that she was definitely going to level up more than once.
But of course, all of that was on the condition that the dark creatures had already reached the diamond rank, and not just the initial, but instead, they should be at least in level 4 of the diamond rank.
But right now, things were completely different. To be able to find an apocalyptic creature that had already reached the diamond rank was kind of difficult, and within every city or its surroundings, at most, a person could be able to find two apocalyptic creatures that had already reached the diamond rank.
But even then, the levels of those apocalyptic creatures would definitely be low. The only ones that could possess a higher level would definitely be those members of the other races who possessed advantage that came from their own race’s support.
But how difficult was it to be able to find the members of the other races? It was as difficult as traveling for several weeks in order to be able to find even one of them. After all, although it was true that members of the other races had descended all over the world, all of them had descended in a particular area for a particular race.
Additionally, all the races that had descended into this world had descended in an area close to a city. And according to the situation right now, of course it was impossible to be able to travel from one city to another for just a few hours like the previous times before the apocalypse descended.
Right now, with the change in the terrain, it was obviously impossible for the vehicles to be able to move unhindered. Additionally, they would occasionally face attacks from monsters and members of the other races along the way. So, it was definitely impossible for them to be able to get to another city at a fast speed.
"Not for now. Currently, we are not aiming to kill the zombies that are present within this city. After all, they can be counted as the power of the human race as long as they are converted back into the human form." Henry shook his head as he responded.
Rachel looked a little disappointed when she heard that. If they were actually not going to kill the zombies, how was the advantage that she possessed going to work out now? After all, the advantage only worked on dark creatures, and the only dark creatures that were currently present around this area were the zombies.
Looking at the disappointed expression that was on Rachel’s face, Henry simply shook his head and said, "Although you cannot kill the zombies right now, that does not imply that you cannot kill the members of the dark race who are also considered as dark creatures. Additionally, I do believe that with the descent of many races into this world, there is definitely more than a single race that is considered dark, so, the advantage that you possess will definitely be capable of being utilized at some point in the near future."
Only after hearing that did the expression that was on Rachel’s face disappear. It was then replaced by a look of anticipation as she looked at Henry.
"So, when is the near future? I have to start making my preparation so that when this near future arrives, I will be able to utilize it to the maximum, without wasting any moment." Rachel asked as she clenched her fists.
"It should not be that long from now. At most, it is going to take us about 2 to 3 months. At that time, you would definitely be able to fight the dark creatures as much as you want, and you can kill as many as you want as well." Henry responded confidently.
Of course he was not planning to continue staying within Hillstown city the entire of this time. Since it was the time for the battle for domination, it was better for him to be able to take over the entire of the human race within this world.
It was only then that he was finally going to possess a great advantage over the members of the other races. But of course, he believed that it was going to be a little difficult for him to be able to unite the entire of the human race.
The human heart was always unpredictable. It was not strange that he might end up finding some humans joining the members of the other races, even if the treatment that they were going to receive there was going to be extremely poor.
As for joining the human race, many pessimistic people would definitely think that they were going to die. But who in the world was not going to die unless they were immortal?
Well, all that mattered was the time at which the person was going to die. But even then, as long as there was a human that decided to betray the human race, of course Henry would not let them go at all, but instead, he would make sure that they paid the price, a heavier price than the one that was going to be experienced by his enemies.
...
In the military territory...
Sarah had just communicated with Henry, and received information about the appearance of her sister. To say the truth, Sarah had not expected that she was actually going to meet her sister like that. Of course, they had not yet met, but since she was together with Henry, it was a sure bet that as long as she went over, she was going to meet with her sister.
At this moment, the pressure that Sarah was experiencing all along had suddenly disappeared. Of course she had been worried about the safety of her family. So, after realizing that her sister was alive, and she was even present within this city, that implied that her family had actually managed to reach this city safely.
But of course, she was a little worried about there being any casualty along the way. After all, it was almost impossible for a person to be able to move from one city to another without being attacked. Additionally, her family had actually moved from Lockwood city that was located several cities away from Hillstown city.
But even then, although she was anxious, she did not try to ask from Henry about the information concerning her family. She decided that she was going to go there first to see them personally.
She was just preparing to go there when suddenly, she thought of something and looked at Olivia and Diana. The two ladies immediately understood what Sarah was implying.
"It seems that we can decide to deal with the military territory before we leave this place. That way, it is going to be easy for Henry to be able to take over the entire city. With the battle for domination intensifying as time goes on, it is better for us to get an advantage and stabilize ourselves before the real battle erupts." Olivia stated with a solemn expression on her face.
Of course the two ladies were also thinking the same thing. That was especially so for Diana considering that Henry was her master. So, since Henry had a plan of conquering the entire of humanity, she was definitely obliged to help him in making sure that his objectives were achieved.
As for Sarah, since she had already joined Henry, she had decided that she was definitely going to follow him until the end. It was not only due to the fact that he was extremely strong and he was a sign of a good future, but it was also due to what he had done for her all this while.
Had it not been for him, she was not even sure if she would have actually been capable of leaving that island. On the very first stage of the apocalypse, she was saved by Henry. Then later on, because she was together with Henry, she survived, escaping the fate that got the people that remained behind before the monster tide arrived.
All the same, Henry was the benefactor that she had gotten during this stage of the apocalypse, the one who had enabled her to become the person that she currently was. So, she was definitely not going to betray him, and she was going to follow him all the way.
As for Olivia, since she had already decided to join Henry from the very start, she had already made her decision long ago. She was a decisive person, and she rarely changed the decisions that she had made. And before making a decision, she was usually careful and cautious.
Since the three ladies all thought the same, they looked towards the central direction of the territory, where the main territory building of the military territory was located in. Then without hesitation, they headed in that direction with a single aim in mind, to deal with the leader of the military territory so that they could take over this territory for Henry.
