Chapter 407: Dead

"Get out of here right now, or you are going to stay here forever." Henry stated with a cold tone as he looked at Kevin, before shifting his gaze to look at Angela.

This is the very first time that Kevin was humiliated ever since the apocalypse descended. He had been part of the military, and he had been following the current leader of the military ever since the apocalypse began. So, he had never been in any disadvantageous position.

But now, he had just been blasted backwards by a single attack from someone that he was seeing for the first time. This was just incredulous.

According to the stage of the apocalypse, it was definitely impossible for there to be very many people that had already reached the diamond rank. For him and Angela to be able to reach the diamond rank, they had to participate in several battles against members of the other races secretly.

Of course, all the battles were carried out away from the territory, to avoid the territory from being attacked by the angry members of the other races in the surrounding areas. That was the only reason why they had been able to reach the diamond rank this early on.

As for the leader of the military territory, they did not actually know what it was that this guy did, but they understood one thing, whatever it was that he was doing, that thing had enabled him to be able to get stronger to this extent. As for what extent it really was, they did not know.

And now for the first time, Kevin was experiencing defeat. Even when facing the members of the other races, he had never been defeated. As for Angela, he had never counted that as defeat, but just a draw between the two of them.

"Do you perhaps know anybody by the name Sarah? The two of you look alike despite the changes that have currently occurred ever since the apocalypse erupted." Henry asked as he looked at Angela.

To say the truth, ever since the moment that he arrived at this place, he had noticed Angela. She possessed several features that completely matched those of Sarah.

Additionally, Sarah had already given them information about her family, and she had told them that she actually had an elder sister. So, perhaps there was a chance that this lady called Angela, the same name as the one that Sarah had told them, was actually Sarah’s sister.

Angela’s heartbeat suddenly paused when she heard that. She looked directly at Henry, and realized that this guy was saying everything with a calm expression on his face, indicating that he was not joking.

"How do you know her?" Angela asked as she looked at Henry. Her heartbeat had already intensified, the moment that she heard the name. The coldness within her eyes was replaced with a hint of hope and expectation.

Henry immediately received a confirmation of what he was seeking. It seemed that it was true that Angela was somehow related to Sarah. But of course, he could not tell if they were actually talking about the same Sarah. After all, there was actually a possibility, no matter how small, for there to be two sisters who looked the same with other two sisters despite the four of them not being related to each other.

"If you want more information about Sarah, you will have to remain behind. As for the others, they will have to leave right now. Otherwise, you can forget about it." Henry stated out his condition.

Angela did not hesitate at all to respond. "I agree." Then in the next moment, she turned to look at the soldiers that she had come together with and instructed, "All of you go back to the territory. Make sure that you do nothing that goes against my principles along the way. I will be with you after I’m done with the issue here."

"Yes madam!" All the soldiers that had come together with Angela immediately responded. Then, without hesitation, all of them hurriedly got into the vehicles, and drove away.

Of course all the soldiers that had come together with Angela really cared about her, considering that she was the only person that really cared about their own safety, completely unlike Kevin.

But even then, what could they do if even Kevin who was extremely domineering had already been taken care of with just a single move from one of the two people in front of them?

If Angela had decided that she was going to remain here, that was her own decision. After all, there was nothing but they could do, considering that she had already given an order for them to leave this place.

As for the matter of trying to convince her to go together with them, that was not something that any of them thought of. After all, just by looking at the reaction that Angela possessed the moment that the name Sarah was mentioned, it implied that this Sarah actually possessed much importance to Angela.

As for Kevin, those that had come together with him did not leave this place. They understood one thing, even if they actually survived right now, they believed that Kevin would definitely deal with them as long as they decided to retreat at this point.

Considering that they possess families within the military territory, none of them thought of leaving the place. Additionally, even if they decided to leave, where were they supposed to go?

If they left this place, with the power level the they possessed, they would definitely not be capable of surviving for long. After all, there were goblins, zombies, and monsters that were continuously loitering around, and if they found a human, they would definitely not leave that human alone.

As for the matter of joining other territories, joining this territory was definitely almost impossible considering that it seemed that those within this territory viewed the soldiers from the military territory in a negative way.

As for the other territories present within the city, with the power level of those territories, it would definitely not be impossible for Kevin to be able to come over there and find them.

With his power level, although it was true that they could hide considering that Kevin did not personally know each and every one of them, he could still ask for information about them, and they would end up dead. Kevin was just about to continue throwing out threats when he was forced to stop. That was due to an attack that had been suddenly launched towards his direction.

The attack was just a small arrow that was made out of fire. But even then, the danger that was coming from that small arrow was not something that Kevin could underestimate. In fact, he felt that the danger that was coming from this small arrow was way higher as compared to the one that he had felt during the time that Adam was attacking him.

Without being given any chance of making any moves, the arrow made a hole on the windscreen of the vehicle before it pierced directly into Kevin’s forehead. Then in the next moment, a small explosion occurred.

Booom!

Kevin’s head was blown into pieces, as part of his upper body was also affected by the explosion. Of course, the vehicle was also affected, and it was a good thing that the other soldiers had already been retreating, ready to get into their own vehicles.

The smell of burnt meat immediately filled the vehicle that Kevin was in, making the soldier who was in charge of driving the vehicle swallow hard.
