Chapter 389: Sammy

The area where Henry had gone to was located in the southern part of the main territory building. It was located within the territory barrier. Due to that reason, as long as a person was not stronger than Alicia, they would not be capable of breaking through the invisible barrier, and reaching that place.

Although it was true that they could also utilize another method in order to be able to break the barrier, but it was almost impossible to be able to find something that was capable of doing something like that. After all, something that was capable of dealing damage that was way above level 9 of the gold rank was definitely not easy to find in this stage of the apocalypse where the diamond rank had just began appearing.

Henry, Adam and the others had managed to enter into the main territory building simply because they were stronger. Additionally, even if the barrier had not allowed them to enter, they could have easily broken it.

Wendy had been given authority over the invisible barrier of the territory, because she was close to Alicia. That was the reason why she had managed to allow them to enter. As for the others who were living within the main territory building, although they were allowed to enter into the main territory building, they were not allowed to allow just anybody to enter into the main territory building. For them to be able to bring a person in, they would have to request for permission from Alicia or Wendy first.

At Henry’s current power level, the person who was hiding within the building in front of him was not capable of escaping his senses at all. It seemed that Alicia had noticed something about this person, and that was the reason why she was ensuring that there was enough security for him.

Otherwise, why would she allow the person to be here, to be protected by a level 8 gold rank mutant warrior? It seemed that this person had also hidden his power level from the others. Otherwise, had they known about his power level, they would have definitely realized that Alicia was kind of strong within the territory, if it came to support.

The building that was located in this place was just a normal house. It occupied an area of about 60 m². The building was ordinary, and could not stand out by much if compared to the other buildings that were located out of the main territory building area.

The surroundings of the building were completely unoccupied, with several trees and vegetation in this place. Since it was a city before, the vegetation that could be found within was kind of low as compared to the vegetation that was found out of the city.

But ever since the descend of the second stage of the apocalypse, it had become easy for vegetation to grow. So, the moment that the vegetation grew in this place, due to the presence of the energy that had been delivered by the bloody rain, the vegetation have been able to grow faster.

At that time, the person that was living in this place had decided that it was better for this vegetation to be here, considering that it was going to conceal his presence. But of course, that was not all that he was using to conceal his presence. As for what it was, Wendy did not know because only Alicia possessed information about it.

The moment that the two of them approached the door, the person who was present within that place immediately came out. He looked at Henry with a cold expression on his face, before shifting his gaze to Wendy.

The person who had come out of the building was a man with thick beard. He possessed a slim stature, with his head covered in short blonde hair. His gray eyes scrutinized the two people in front of him with both attention and vigilance.

The moment that the two people arrived here, he had already detected them considering that they were not trying to hide their presence at all. The only thing that he could not understand was the reason why they came over here.

The time that he was told by Alicia to come over and protect the person that was present in this place, she had told him that there was nobody else other than herself that was going to come here, unless it was necessary for them to come over.

And right now, although he had not received any information from Alicia, he believed that these two were somehow related to Alicia. Otherwise, for them to be able to reach this place, that implied that either Alicia had passed away, or Alicia was the one who had allowed them to come over. Otherwise, how was it possible that they were capable of coming to this place despite the fact that Alicia had ordered for nobody to be able to come over here unless she was the one who had given permission?

Of course he immediately tried to look for information about the two people in front of him. For the lady, he immediately got information about her. She looked extra ordinary, and she possessed an S-grade profession.

A person of an s grade profession was definitely not that easy to find considering that the majority of them had already joined the militaries already during the initial stage of the apocalypse, and were no longer capable of leaving.

As for the profession that she possessed, this was the first time that he was seeing a person possessing that profession. It seemed that the profession that she possessed was quite special. Since that was the case, considering the power level that she was in, that implied that she definitely held a high position within the territory.

But then again, there was another thing that made him quite cautious of this lady. That was the fact that she was at the same level as himself. She was at level 8 of the gold rank, and considering that he did not possess any information about her profession, if she was an enemy that was here, that implied that he was going to have a difficult task in order to be able to deal with her.

But of course he was not afraid of dealing with her. Instead, he believed that he was capable of dealing with her considering that he had already made several preparations during the time that he was here. Additionally, he had obtained many things from Alicia, just to ensure that the safety of the person that he was protecting was guaranteed.

Then, he shifted his gaze and looked at the young man. He tried looking for information about him, but he was flabbergasted the moment that he realized that he could not see even a single piece of information about this person. Not even the name about him was displayed!

Of course at this point of the apocalypse, it was not strange to find that there was a person that had hidden their information. That was something that the majority of the people were doing, in order to avoid being targeted in case they possessed a profession that was quite useful to others, or extremely dangerous to the members of the other races.

But even then, it was actually not possible for them to be able to hide information about their real names. So, how was it possible that this person had hidden his information completely? Could it be that there was something even more stronger that had appeared?

At this point, his vigilance increased drastically as he tightly clutched onto the hammer that he was holding in his hand. Despite his slim body stature, he was holding a hammer that was quite big and looked heavy. Despite that, the way that he was holding it, he made it look as if he was holding something weightless.

The handle of the hammer that he was holding was about half a meter long, while the head of the hammer was shaped like a normal hammer, with a cylindrical shape.

The moment that Wendy saw the person coming from the house, she immediately stepped forward and introduced herself. But it seemed that the other party was not even listening to her considering that after looking at her, he looked at Henry, before he looked surprised and his eyes shone with vigilance.

Wendy could not help but feel slightly helpless. She had already received information about this person. Since she was close to Alicia, Alicia had already revealed information about this guy whose name was Sammy.

Sammy was a person that Alicia had rescued during the time that the second stage of the apocalypse had just began. At that time, Sammy was not as strong as he was despite the fact that he possessed a high grade profession.

It was only due to the help that he received from Alicia that he finally managed to get onto his feet. From there on, he went ahead and managed to level up and reached the gold rank. After reaching the gold rank, he came to Alicia who had already built this territory, and offered to assist her in whichever way she required.

Alicia went ahead and gave him the task of protecting the person that was being targeted by the zombies. Of course, although he was here, he was also allowed to go out of this place from time to time in order to be able to level up. Otherwise, if he continued staying in this place for several months, he would definitely be the weakest considering that others outside would continue leveling up as the apocalypse progressed.

"What do you want here?" Sammy asked in a deep voice that completely contrasted with his body stature.
