Chapter 388: Activating the Domain

After making the purchase, Henry took the lightning domain talisman from the system inventory. The talisman was made out of a blue piece wood.

Henry did not know what type of wood it was that was utilized in making of the talisman, but considering the resources that had been appearing during the third stage of the apocalypse, he was not surprised that there would be many things that he did not know appearing.

The wood was carved with a lightning symbol. There was nothing else that looked special about it, other than the terrifying feeling that it gave out. Henry felt that there was tremendous power that was being held within this piece of wood, and it only required to be released for it to showcase its might.

After observing the talisman carefully, Henry could not find a method that could be utilized in order to be able to stabilize Alicia’s consciousness.

Even though the method of utilizing the talisman was in the details of the item the moment that he was purchasing it from the system store, but that was just a method that could be utilized in order to enable a person who possessed the lightning element to gain an advantage.

Inside the domain that was produced by the talisman, a person who was wielding lightning element would be capable of dealing more damage to their enemies as long as they were within the domain.

But other than that piece of information, there was non at all about a method that would be utilized to stabilize the person’s consciousness. So, Henry immediately asked the system about it after realizing that he could not find the method by himself.

[Responding to the host. The host is required to find a secluded place, a room or an open space, though it is recommended to be a room, where the lightning talisman will be activated.]

[After activating the talisman, the host will bring the person whose consciousness is supposed to be stabilized into the place where the domain is activated.]

[As long as that person is present within the domain, there would be the effect of having their consciousness being stabilized.]

[To maintain the domain, mutation crystals are required. The lowest ranking mutation crystal that is required is level 1 of the diamond rank mutation crystal. One level one diamond rank mutation crystal can maintain the domain for an entire month.]

Henry was relieved after receiving the information from the system. It was a good thing that the system had begun responding to his questions positively ever since it had been upgraded to the second level.

During the first level, although it was true that the system could respond to his questions, mainly, it could not give him suggestions on what to do in case he was in a position where he did not know what to do.

Without hesitation, Henry left the room that he had taken that was just adjacent from his family’s, and entered into another room that was present within the main territory building. Of course, the room that he went to was located quite close to where Adam’s was located.

It was a good thing that the main territory building was not occupied by many people. Additionally, most of the people that were present within the main territory building were located on the lower floors.

After getting into the room, Henry immediately activated the talisman. It was a good thing that the domain that was generated by the talisman was not going to deal any damage to any person.

It was just that within this domain, a person that did not possess the lightning element would face some kind of restriction, where they would not be able to bring out their full strength. But of course, the power of the restriction was also related to the level of the talisman that generated the domain.

To activate the talisman, Henry was required to inject his energy into it. Immediately after injecting his energy into it, he was required to throw it a distance away from where he was.

The room that Henry had taken was quite big, and it was currently unoccupied. The moment that he activated the talisman, it immediately emitted a blue light. In the next moment, it began flickering with lightning.

Boom!

After Henry threw it in the middle of the room, a small explosion occurred. In the next moment, Henry suddenly felt that there was something around him that was trying to suppress his fire element.

Although he could not see any changes that had happened in the surrounding areas, but nevertheless, he could still feel them. It seemed that this was yet another advantage that this talisman possessed. Not unless a person was present within the domain, they would not be able to know about the presence of the domain at all.

The radius that the domain could cover was determined by the one who had activated it. Since Henry was not planning on covering the entire main territory building, he decided to simply make it cover the radius that enabled it to cover the entire room.

Since the distance that was covered by the domain was quite small, the concentration of the ability of the talisman was also increased. So, Henry believed that the effectiveness of the domain was going to be increased.

After completing that, Henry went ahead and informed Luke and Cynthia about the arrangements that he had made. The two of them were immediately relieved after hearing that there was something that was going to be utilized in order to be able to stabilize Alicia’s condition.

So, Cynthia immediately took action and took the unconscious Alicia into the room that Henry had prepared. Everything was arranged in that place, so, there was no need for any big preparations other than the requirements that Alicia was going to use during the time that she would be present there.

But since she was unconscious, Cynthia was the one that was going to take care of her. So, Cynthia decided to stay in the same room as Alicia, despite the fact that she was feeling slightly uncomfortable inside the domain.

Henry on the other hand did not say anything else other than leaving behind a level 3 diamond rank mutation crystal. Of course, he took it to the core of the domain, which only he could detect considering that he was the one who had activated it, before he allowed the domain to consume the mutation crystal.

The energy that was present within a level 3 diamond rank mutation crystal was capable of sustaining the domain for quite a while, and it was not going to be difficult for it to be active for a few years. After all, a level 3 diamond rank mutation crystal was the same as 10,000 level 1 diamond rank mutation crystals. 10,000 months was equal to...

The following day, immediately after Henry woke up, he decided to look into the matter of the person who was being targeted by the zombies. The reason why the zombies targeted that person particularly was what Henry wanted to know.

It was the time for the battle for domination. So, if he ended up finding a method that could be utilized in order to deal with the zombies, then, that implied that it was going to be way easier for him to be able to deal with the zombies, reducing the competition that the humans were going to face in the battle for domination.

It was true that the battle for domination had already started. But nevertheless, this was just the initial stage. Since the high ranking members of the other races had not yet descended into this world, that implied that no matter how much the humans managed to eliminate those members that had already descended into this world, they would definitely not be able to win the battle for domination.

At the end of it all, as long as another stage of the apocalypse arrived, more members of the other races would be descending. Additionally, the strength and the numbers of the members of the other races that could descend into this world also increased as the stages of the apocalypse continued to descend.

So, Henry was not going to lose a chance if he was given one when it came to dealing with the zombies. In fact, it would have been better if there was a method that could be utilized in order to be able to turn the zombies into humans.

That way, the advantage that the zombies possessed would be eliminated immediately considering that they could easily transfer the virus, turning humans into zombies. And if zombies could also be turned into humans, that implied that the number of humans would also begin increasing.

At the same time as Henry was going to meet up with the person that the zombies had been targeting, he was also communicating with Diana.

According to Diana, they had managed to enter into the military territory. According to the observation that she had made, the power of the military territory was quite high.

But nonetheless, if they decided to eliminate the military territory, it was not going to be difficult considering that all that they needed to do was to deal with the higher ups. As for the rest of the members of the territory, the majority of them were only there because they were being oppressed, and they did not have a method of resisting at all.

But if those that were holding them down were eliminated, those people would definitely not go ahead and fight for them. Instead, they might actually take the chance to hit those that had been oppressing them when they were down.

The only reason why the three ladies had not taken action until now was simply because they were still looking for Sarah’s family’s whereabouts. Immediately after finding them, they would see what they were going to do next.

Not long after finishing the communication between him and Diana, Henry finally arrived at a place that was completely secluded together with Wendy. Although the place was secluded, Henry could feel that there was a presence here, a person that was in charge of security.
