Chapter 379: Another Attack?

Henry was just about to say something when suddenly, he frowned. He looked at his father and said, "It seems that there is a group of people or creatures that are coming to attack the territory again. Let me deal with this first."

Then without giving them a chance of saying anything, Henry rushed out of the room. At this time, he had already received information that there was a group of people or creatures that was approaching the territory from the east.

Of course it was not just from the information that he had received from his summoned creatures, but even the killing intent that he could detect in the air was enough to tell him that there was a group that was coming over with malicious intentions.

Even though the killing intent was quite faint, it was not capable of escaping Henry’s detection. For Henry, he was quite sensitive to the killing intent, just like Adam. This was due to the large number of monsters that he had killed until now.

When James saw that Henry had already left even without commenting on anything about what they had gone through, he looked at his parents and said, "You see that? I just told you that he is not my brother. Why is it that he always decides to leave when he is required?"

Although Christine and Philip did not understand why Henry had suddenly decided to go out, despite him saying that he was going to deal with a group of people or creatures that had come over to attack, they decided not to say anything.

They did not understand fully the abilities that Henry possessed. So, perhaps there was a method that he was utilizing in order to be able to communicate with those that he had left outside.

But of course, they understood that Henry possessed the summoner profession. So, they simply guessed that it might be related to the telepathic link that existed between a summoner and his summoned creatures.

"Don’t talk like that about your brother. Instead, you should be happy that you have an elder brother that you can look up to. So, you don’t have to start throwing blames at him at everything that he does." Philip stated in a low voice as he looked at James with a serious expression on his face.

James was just about to say something when he was held by Christine. Looking at his mother, James was a little surprised. He was wondering what was wrong. Why was it that his parents were no longer doing everything that he wanted? But instead, it seemed that they were actually opposing him?

"Don’t tell me that you are no longer going to love me the same way that you did before because that Henry came back. If that is the case, then I don’t want to be with you right now!" Becoming completely unreasonable, James said in a dissatisfied voice, before he rushed out.

Christine wanted to stop James from going out, but since James was stronger than she was, she was not capable of holding him down. As for Philip, he was invested in alchemy, and thus was definitely not capable of dealing with a warrior, despite his level being higher than James’s.

"Let him be for a while. It is quite difficult for him to be able to adapt from being the only child here, to sharing his parents with another person." Phillip stated with a simple sigh.

Christine opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but in the end, she decided to remain silent. She also understood the situation.

The reason why Henry had gone out was not because he did not believe that Dylan, Storm, and Lenta were not capable of dealing with whoever it was that was coming to attack.

But instead, the reason why he had gone out was simple. They had a simple goal, and that was to find mutation crystals that were going to be utilized in purchasing the lightning domain talisman.

So, it seemed that he had to make preparations for that. As for the other matters, he could deal with them later on. His interactions with his family had not been existent during the past over 10 years.

So, even though it was true that he had come into contact with his parents, the bond that existed between him and his parents had actually weakened. So, for it to be strengthened further, it needed some time.

And of course, Henry was not planning on abandoning his family. This was definitely not something that he had ever thought of doing. Even if the bond between him and his family completely broke, he would definitely not just leave them like that.

Instead, he would do something that would help them, before leaving them to their own devices if they decided to do something against him. This was just him showing his gratitude to the love that they had shown him during the time that he was young.

Leaving all of that aside, Henry simply focused on the matter at hand. Currently, since he had already received the information, he believed that the group that was coming over was definitely from the goblins’ side.

The goblins were located in the eastern side of this territory. So, since this was the direction of the killing intent that he was feeling, there was a great possibility that it was from the goblins. As for the reason why they were here, Henry believed that they were here with the intention of destroying this territory.

Otherwise, why would they be giving out killing intent? Nevertheless, Henry was not that much worried about this matter. For him, he was capable of dealing with a large number of goblins by himself considering that the skills that he possessed were enough to be able to do something like that.

And he was not alone this time. The time that Henry got out of his family’s room and reached the hallway, he found that Adam was also coming out of his room. The two of them nodded at each other before they headed downstairs.

After getting out, Henry realized that Wendy was there already. It seemed that she had just arrived, and she was also surprised when she realized that Henry and Adam had come out of the main territory building.

Initially, Wendy was a little afraid of disturbing the reunion between Adam and Henry with their families. But now that they had come out by themselves, it was going to be easier for her to be able to pass the information that she possessed to them.

"It seems that an attack is about to be launched on this territory." Wendy stated with a nervous expression on her face.

The luck of Trista territory was definitely not good recently. They had been attacked by the military, then the zombies, and now, even the goblins were coming over. She was quite worried that perhaps Henry and Adam would decide to take their families and go to another territory. If something like that happened, then this territory would definitely have nobody that would be capable of protecting them anymore.

With Alicia currently unconscious, there was nobody else with enough strength to be able to resist the military and the other forces present within the city. Henry and Adam were the only hope that she possessed at this point, and she was hoping that they would not leave.

"Have all the preparations been done?" Henry asked.

"Yes. We have already dealt with the losses that we suffered during the battle with the military and the zombies. The number of casualties is quite high, that leading to the manpower that the territory possesses to reduce drastically." Wendy responded.

After a slight pause, she continued, "Other than that, the logistics department has reported that the items that can be utilized have also reduced. Although it is true that several items had already dropped with the large number of zombies being killed, the consumption due to the injuries that those that were fighting against the zombies had suffered caused the stock to reduce."

"Don’t worry about that. Just ensure that everything within the territory is okay. As for the matter of the attack, leave it to me." Henry responded. To him, it did not matter if there was a problem with things like healing potions and whatsoever.

As long as there were enough mutation crystals, he would definitely be capable of purchasing anything from the system store.

Wendy was relieved after hearing that. She did not doubt that Henry was capable of dealing with whatever group it was that was coming over. The demonstration that had been done by his summoned creatures when dealing with the zombies was enough to convince her of the power that Henry possessed.

Additionally, not just his summoned creatures, but even his own strength was extremely high. That was something that she had experienced during the time that he was dealing with the zombie that had come over with the intention of taking somebody from the territory.

Immediately after giving Wendy his instructions, Henry and Adam left. They headed towards the east, where a gate was located. Of course, the territory possessed gates in all the four directions.

The moment that they arrived on top of the wall, they found that Dylan was there. As for Lenta and Storm, together with Julie, they were in charge of the other directions, making sure that no attack was launched from those directions.

Dylan did not have to say anything to Henry. They had already communicated through the telepathic connection that they possessed.

At this moment, other than Henry, Adam, and Dylan, there was still a group of people that was in charge of this side of the territory. That was especially so for those that were in charge of the gate.

Henry looked into the distance. At this time, dawn was already about to set in. So, the sky was already lighting up, and although they could not see things clearly, but still, Henry’s vision was quite good, and he was able to see that there was a group that was coming over.
