Chapter 376: Henry’s Status and Skills

Of course Henry did not just leave the place. Instead he waited for a while until everything had finally calmed down before he went back together with his family. But of course, along the way, he decided to deal with the matter concerning the reward that only possessed 3 hours before it disappeared.

The reward that possessed a 3 hours time limit was a skill level up. Henry was supposed to select a single skill that he was going to upgrade by a single level.

According to the current situation, if a person was capable of looking at Henry’s panel, they would be able to see the following.

During the past few months, Henry had already upgraded several of the skills that he previously possessed since the start of the apocalypse.

Although it was true that he could have taken better skills from the system store with the upgrade of the system, Henry still decided to stick with the skills that he currently possessed.

Of course he had already gained several new skills that he had taken a fancy to during the time that he was going through the system store.

Henry possessed two professions. So, while the limit of the number of skills that a person could possess was limited at 15, Henry could possess up to 30 skills.

Nevertheless, Henry did not just take any skill for himself because he possessed several skill slots that were empty and could be occupied. Instead, he focused on making sure that he completely understood the skills that he currently possessed, rather than just having many useless skills that he would end up not utilizing at the end of it all.

Power surge, it was a skill that was capable of increasing Henry’s damage by three times for half of the energy in his body. It possessed a cooldown of 1 hour. The skill was extremely overpowered considering that it only possessed a short cooldown period despite of how effective it was.

This was a skill that Henry had received during the start of the apocalypse, as a reward for leveling up. Still, until today, Henry found that this was kind of bizarre, considering that the reward that he had gotten was only measured according to a small scale, a very small distance.

Nevertheless, Henry did not focus much on that. There was nothing that he could do about this matter for now. All that he could do right now was to get stronger, so that if there were any schemes that he was involved in, he would be able to deal with them.

Sword rain. This was a skill that solidified swords made out of energy that descended from the sky towards his enemies.

Mountain splinter. It increased his sword’s sharpness by two times. The Fireball was easy to understand, just manifesting a fireball before it was launched.

Fire arrows manifested several arrows in the air before they descended towards the enemy. It was quite a good area of effect skill.

Injury immunity granted Henry two seconds of immunity. Despite that, it possessed 1 hour cooldown. Completely unlike power surge that did not possess any rank, injury immunity possessed a rank.

The higher the power level, the less effective the skill was. If Henry had not upgraded the skill, then he would have definitely been having a useless skill in his repertoire. If his power level was extremely high as compared to the level of the skill, he would not be able to gain the two seconds of immunity, and the cooldown would also be increased drastically.

Firebolt simply launched a bolt made out of fire. The fire dragon skill manifested a dragon in the air. The dragon possessed simple intelligence, and it was capable of doing actions of its own once it was given a command to destroy a certain enemy.

Duplication was another great less skill. This was a skill that Henry had gotten from Lucas in Crystal City. It was capable of duplicating him into two or more, costing him half of his total energy. If he was doubled, the strength of the two would be equal. But if the number of clones increased, the strength of the subsequent clones would be drastically reduced.

The skill was capable of being activated for 30 minutes. Nevertheless, the 30 minutes could be easily depleted as long as the number of clones that had been produced was high. There was also tremendous pressure on the user as long as their power level was low. It also possessed a 3 days cooldown.

Fusion. This was a skill that he had gotten in a dungeon within Crystal City. This skill was capable of merging him together with his summoned creature. His strength would tremendously increase, together with his energy reserves.

The only downside of this skill was that it only possessed a time limit of 10 minutes. Then, just like the duplication skill, it put a lot of pressure on the user. It possessed a cooldown of one day.

Then there was false regeneration. This was a skill that enabled Henry to recover from injuries that he had suffered. As long as he possessed enough energy, he would be able to recover completely even if he was gravely injured.

This was an overpowered skill that he had managed to get from Chris (owner of the island where Henry and Adam had been kept for over 10 years).

Subordinate function. This was a skill that enabled him to be able to summon a member of his territory back into the territory. It did not matter where they were, but they would be able to be summoned back. It was a skill that Henry had gotten after upgrading his territory back in Crystal City to level 2.

The skill could only be utilized three times a month, and it could only summon a single member of the territory at a time.

Fire legion. Basically, this skill enabled Henry to be able to summon a legion, an army of thousands that was made out of fire. Each soldier possessed part of Henry’s strength. The strength that each member of the army possessed depended on the number of soldiers that Henry would have summoned.

The minimum number of soldiers that he could summon were 100. Each and every one of them would be able to possess 30% of Henry’s full strength. Of course this eliminated the summoner profession when it came to calculation of Henry’s full strength.

Then there was damage distribution. It enabled his summoned creatures to be able to share the damage that he would have received. Additionally, it was capable of applying to his summoned creatures as well. Even if they were injured, the damage would be distributed proportionally to all the summoned creatures.

The skill did not possess much limitations. Henry understood that the reason behind that was due to the fact that most of summoners were weak by themselves and simply depended on their summoned creatures. So, if they received much damage, they would end up dead.

Due to that disadvantage, there were actually no limitations on this skill. And this was something that gave Henry a great advantage. If he was fighting, he could simply distribute the damage that he was suffering to his summoned creatures. That way, he would be able to tank all the attacks that were launched at him even by an existence that was far stronger than himself.

Sword Monarch. This was a skill that increased all the attacks that Henry launched using his sword by 30%. It could be activated for a maximum of 3 hours, and possessed a cooldown of 1 day.

Power pool. This was a skill that enabled Henry to be able to pull together the strength of his summoned creatures. His strength would be able to drastically increase by combining the strength of his summoned creatures.

The only problem about this skill was the fact that during the time that this skill was activated, that implied that all of his summoned creatures would be extremely weak and could be killed by anyone.

Additionally, the skill only activated for 5 minutes. Then, it possessed a cooldown of an entire month. But that was not the end of it all. Instead, it would also take time for his summoned creatures to be able to recover to their full power, with a minimum of 3 days.

Although this skill was quite fatal, and could lead to the death of his summoned creatures, Henry had decided to keep this skill to himself. This skill was quite a good trump card, and he could utilize it if he did not have any other way out.

Then there was the fire clone. This enabled Henry to be able to create a clone of himself from fire. The clone possessed 50% of his full strength. It could exist for a single hour, and it possessed one day cooldown.

Firestorm. Basically, this skill enabled Henry to be able to summon a storm that was made out of fire. It was an AOE skill that possessed quite much damage, and it could be utilized on the zombies that liked hurdling together.

Currently, Henry possessed 19 skills. Of course this did not count those skills that he had gotten through the system ability which enabled him to be able to get the skills of utilizing an item by touching them.

It was at this point that Henry had to decide out of those 19 skills, which one of them he was going to upgrade. After a moment of contemplation, Henry finally made a decision.
