Chapter 365: Jason’s Plan

The territory of the zombies was located in the middle of Hillstown city. The number of zombies in this part of the city was the highest. Although the number of zombies that had attacked Trista territory was quite high, they didn’t even make up to 10% of the entire zombie population within the city.

But of course, Henry and Adam did not have the intention of attacking the zombies head on. That was something that was going to cause them a lot of trouble, considering that they were here on a rescue mission, but not to eliminate all the zombies within the city.

So, Henry and Adam had decided that they were going to approach the territory from two different directions. Of course, they were not going to approach the territory alone. Instead, they had divided into two teams, each team led by Henry and Adam respectively.

Team A consisted of Henry, Julie, and Storm. As for Team B, it consisted of Adam, Lenta, and finally Dylan who had just returned after he was called by Henry through the telepathic connection that they possessed.

Henry was going to attack from the left, while Adam was going to attack from the right. But of course, the main thing that they wanted was to sneak into the territory, and not to fight their way in. So, both Lenta and Storm had already taken their miniature forms, to avoid attracting attention of the zombies.

Of course it was not that much difficult for Henry and the others to be able to reach the territory. After all, all of them had already reached the diamond rank. And the highest ranking zombie that they had encountered along the way was only in the gold rank.

Of course it would have been easy for them to be able to enter into the territory had it been before the zombies decided to attack Trista territory. But right now, the security of the zombie territory had increased drastically, in such a way that all the high level zombies were out, monitoring the territory’s surroundings, as if they were waiting for someone to attack.

Henry and Adam both understood that the reason why the security of the territory had been increased drastically was simply because of the zombie that had escaped, Jason.

It could be said that the reason why the security of the territory had increased was simply because the zombie was injured, and was trying to make sure that it was given enough time in order to be able to recover. But of course, that was if Alicia was not considered.

Right now, both Henry and Adam were feeling quite nervous considering the fact that Alicia was still in the hands of the zombies. So, they were both trying to make sure that they hurried things, but at the same time they tried to make sure that they did not alert the zombies.

The zombies’ territory was completely different from the ones that were led by the humans. Unlike the human territories which were currently surrounded by tall walls that were going to be used as the first line of defense, the zombies’ territory did not possess the wall. After all, which zombie was going to be in charge of construction?

The buildings in the territory owned by the zombies were just the way they were before, completely devastated by the several changes that had occur during the second and the third stage of the apocalypse.

Basically, it could be said that the territory owned by the zombies was like a ruined city. But still, in the middle of this ruined city, there existed a magnificent building.

The building was composed of 12 floors. It was painted red without the existence of any other color. It looked completely eerie, but at the same time quite attractive to the eye due to the craftsmanship that was used to build this building.

The number of zombies that could be found around this area was extremely high. But still if one observed closely, they would be able to see that all the zombies formed a circle around this building.

There was a certain range that they could not approach at all. It did not matter the level of the zombies that were in that particular area, because even the gold rank zombies only looked at the building from a distance with reverence in their eyes.

It was clear that they completely respected that area that they could not enter. Still, there was also fear in those blood red eyes as they looked at that building.

Currently inside the main territory building of the zombie territory, Jason had just arrived. He was injured completely, and had it not been for the fact that he had escaped, he would have definitely been killed by Henry.

During the time that he had activated that Crystal, he was surrounded by a red sphere. Then, he was supposed to be teleported away. It was just that the defense that was formed by crushing the crystal was not capable of blocking the attack from Henry.

For that reason, before he was teleported away from that place, he suffered a grievous injury. Had it not been for the fact that he had been prepared for injuries, he would have already been killed by now.

It was just that the zombies were completely different from humans. The majority of the cells in their bodies had already died, even for Jason whose body was kind of alive.

Due to that reason, the zombies could not use healing potions in order to be able to recover. That was a disadvantage that the zombies could not avoid no matter how much they tried.

Currently, Jason’s expression was completely twisted. He had not expected that as a zombie, he was going to be plunged into a situation like the one that he was in like by a mere human.

Unlike the other zombies, Jason had actually descended into this world. Just like the members of the other races, during the second stage of the apocalypse, Jason had descended.

That was the reason why he was different from the zombies here. The zombies that could be found in this world had been brainless especially during the second stage of the apocalypse.

It was only because he had come here that the zombies had finally managed to use the advantage that they possessed to hold the major part of the city.

Of course the zombies did not have much use for the city. After all, all they required were the humans that were present within the city. As for the resources that had appeared within the city and outside, they were completely useless for the zombies, at least for now.

The only reason why Jason had decided that they were going to control the majority of the city was simply because he wanted to deny the humans a chance of development.

He understood all too well that if the humans were given a chance, they definitely possessed a great chance of rising up. And that was definitely not something that he wanted to see happening.

Leaving all that aside, Jason was currently furious. He had gone to attack Trista territory because he wanted to get someone there. But in the end, he ended up getting injured, and all the zombies that he had sent over destroyed.

It was true that the zombies that had gone over to attack together with him were actually not part of the main attack power of the zombies, but still, it was considered a big loss considering that those zombies could be nurtured into great zombies in the future.

"I’ll make sure that you pay for what you have done. There is no way that I’m going to exist in the same city as you humans.

Jason observed his body. Although he was currently no longer in danger of dying, but the injuries that he had suffered were going to take a lot of time to be able to heal.

And even if they were going to heal, he was going to remain with scars on his body. That was something that was not supposed to happen to him, especially considering the fact that he was actually a high zombie.

That’s right. The zombies also possessed a hierarchy. It was just that the zombies that could be found in this world were considered normal. As for those zombies that possessed the highest ranking, they had yet to descend.

Jason decided to ignore the injuries that were on his body. He currently understood that he was definitely not capable of dealing with Henry and the others. So, it was better for him to prepare himself, considering that he understood that they were going to come here.

So before they arrived, he decided to make preparations. He had to make sure that he eliminated them, before they became a huge problem for him in the future.

Going to the top most floor of the building, Jason finally found what he was looking for. On this floor, there was nothing else other than a simple altar. And on the altar, there lay a lady.

Looking at Alicia who was still unconscious, lying of the altar, a hint of hope and glee appeared in Jason’s eyes. Then in a low voice he said, "I’m going to make sure that you see the power of the zombies. Other than eliminating those puny humans, I’m going to show the world that the zombies are the superior race."

Immediately after saying those words, his expression became somber. Of course it was not that easy to be able to prove to the world that the zombies were the strongest and with the greatest potential.

"It is just a little sacrifice. I should be able to recover after about 2 months. At that time, this entire city should be under my control." Jason said to himself before he arrived next to Alicia who was unconscious on the altar.
