Chapter 364: Spirit Attacker

Henry decided to ignore this brat. Instead, he looked at his mother and asked, "Mom, where’s father?"

"Oh, your father? He has gone out. He is an alchemist, and he is in charge of making several potions for the territory. Since it is time for battle for the territory, the workload has increased drastically." Christine responded.

Henry raised his brows a little. First of all, he was completely relieved by the fact that the whole of his family was alive and well in this apocalypse. Secondly, it seemed that all of them were doing quite fine, especially due to the fact that Alicia was the one who was leading the territory where they were currently located in.

"That’s good to hear. I will be seeing him later on. For now, I have to go out. We don’t have that much time considering that we have to hurry up things." Henry stated in a calm and composed voice. Right now, he was trying to suppress the feelings of going to see his father right away.

He understood that currently, the more time that they wasted here, the more danger Alicia was going to face. So, it was better to go out right now and try to find her.

"What? You are leaving already? But you have just arrived." Christian asked with a frown on her face. She did not understand why Henry was in such a hurry to leave. He had just arrived after more than 10 years, and he was just about to leave again? Where was heading to? Those were several questions that she was asking herself in her mind at this moment.

"See? I just said that he was not my brother. He doesn’t see that you care about him, and he has just arrived. But he is leaving as soon as he has arrived, although he knows that you were worried about him all this while." James snorted as he looked at Henry angrily.

"Alicia has been kidnapped by the zombies. We need to go and rescue her. Otherwise, she might end up turning into a zombie, or be killed." Henry stated, completely ignoring James.

"You are trying to say that Alicia has been kidnapped by the zombies? But how is that possible? According to what I know, the zombies do not kidnap anybody. They would just transform a person into a zombie in case they think that he possesses good potential. Or they could as well just kill them and take their brains as snacks." Christine asked with a frown on her face.

Henry also understood that it was kind of unusual that the zombies had suddenly decided to kidnap humans. But nevertheless, since the apocalypse was still ongoing and it was progressing, several more changes were bound to happen. So, perhaps this was just one of the changes that had happened during the third stage of the apocalypse.

"I don’t really know much about the reason why the zombie decided to take Alicia as a hostage. Nevertheless, I’m going there together with Adam. We should be able to get her back here soon." Henry responded.

"Are you sure that this is not risky?" Christine asked. She was completely worried that if Henry decided to go to the Zombies’ territory, then he was going to face a lot of danger. He had just arrived, yet he was just throwing himself into danger again.

As a matter of fact, although she was also worried about Alicia, she was of course worried about her son the most. That was the reason why she was hoping that Henry would not go, although she understood that he had to go.

"It might be risky, but not for me. Just wait a little bit. We will be back as soon as we are done." Henry stated.

James on the other hand remained silent. At this moment, he realized that what Henry was planning to do was definitely very important. He understood that Alicia was the reason why they were having such a good life inside this place.

Otherwise they would have definitely been having it hard, had it not been for the fact that Alicia was taking good care of them. Moreover, with the power levels that they currently possessed, they definitely were not qualified to stay within the main territory building.

Although he understood that, there was no way that he was going to compliment Henry about this. He simply pouted his lips and looked in the opposite direction, not wanting to face Henry at all.

Christine remained silent for a moment. Then in the next moment, she pulled Henry into her embrace and said, "Be careful out there. Make sure that you come back safe."

Henry did not refuse Christine’s actions. He simply allowed her to hug him as he responded, "Don’t worry Mom. I still have a lot of things to do. So, I will definitely be coming back soon."

After Christine let go of Henry, Henry looked at the two people in front of him. They were currently the only family members present, at least within this territory building. At this moment, he had already decided that he had to clear all the dangers that were present within this city or outside.

After giving the two one last glance, Henry left. Just after he had left the entrance of the room that he did not even enter, he realized that Adam was already waiting for him. Currently, Cynthia had already retreated back into their room together with Luke.

"You ready?" Henry asked with a solemn expression on his face.

"I’m always ready." Adam responded. This was a matter concerning his sister. So, no matter what, he had to make sure that he took care of her. Currently, she was in trouble. As a man, and as the eldest of the two of them, he definitely had to make sure that Alicia came back safely.

"Okay let’s go." Henry stated. At the same time, he communicated with both Storm and Lenta so that they could deal with the zombies that were currently outside of the territory as soon as possible. They did not have much time, so, it was better for them to be as fast as possible.

The two left the main territory building. The moment that they got out of the building, they realized that the lady who had led them to this place was currently waiting for them.

The lady was planning to go to the battlefield together with Storm and Lenta. But the moment that she arrived there, she realized that the two of them were capable of dealing with all the zombies there.

Since the two of them were capable of taking care of all the zombies there, she decided to come back to Henry and Adam.

"What is it?" Henry asked.

"I want to join you in your mission to rescue our leader. She has been so great for this territory, and that is the reason why I am ready to risk my life in order to make sure that she comes back safely." The lady responded with a resolute expression on her face.

Henry raised his brows a little. It was not that easy to be able to find a person who was willing to lay their lives down in order to rescue another person that they were not blood related with. In fact, in this apocalypse, even blood siblings would betray each other, not to mention others that were not even related to them.

Curious, he looked at the information about this lady in front of him.

Henry was a little surprised after looking at the information about the lady in front of him. He had not expected that she was actually an S-grade profession holder. Additionally, the profession that she possessed was something that he was seeing for the first time.

Although he was curious about this lady, Henry did not have much time to continue knowing others. So, he responded to the lady, "I’m sorry but you cannot come with us. With the current power level that you have, you will be putting yourself in great danger by going there."

Wendy wanted to say something, but thinking much about the parable that Henry and the others possessed, it was actually true that they did not require her help.

In fact, if she decided to go over, she was definitely going to give them the job of protecting her. So, it was going to be a little difficult to protect her together with Alicia at the same time. Unless she had said that she was willing to lay down her life for Alicia, that did not mean that she was willing to die without any good reason.

"You remain behind. You are going to be in charge of making sure that nothing goes wrong within this territory. Do that as you wait for us to come back." Henry said before he and Adam left.

When she looked at the backs of the two who were already leaving, she could not help but feel a little helpless. She was not able to help Alicia during the time that she was here, and now, she could not help her as well because she had been kidnapped by the zombies.

Clenching her fists tightly, she decided that she was going to work hard in order to make sure that she leveled up. That way, as long as she was strong enough, she was definitely going to be able to help in the future if she was required.

With that, she decided to first focus on the matter of making sure that everything within the territory remained calm. The matter of Alicia being kidnapped by the zombies was something that required to be controlled. Otherwise, the territory was completely going to fall into chaos.
