Chapter 354: A Strange Feeling

Henry’s eyes flickered with a light. Then, he looked at the territory in a distance and asked, "May I know who this human that you are here for is? But you have to know one thing, if it is a person that is close to me, no matter what, you are definitely not going to be able to take him away."

The zombie looked closely at Henry. It was as if he was trying to look at the features that Henry possessed. Then, after making sure that he had noted all the features that Henry possessed, he compared them to the ones that the young man that he was here for possessed.

"I’m pretty sure that the two of you are not related to each other. So, why don’t we go ahead and enter the territory so that I can get what I want? I’ve got a lot of things that I need to take care of." Jason the zombie stated.

Henry did not respond immediately. Instead, he looked at the lady that was standing not that far away from where they were.

They had only arrived in Hillstown city today. So, they did not possess much information. This lady definitely knew about the person that the zombie wanted.

Olivia and the others both looked at Henry silently from the sides. From the way that they knew Henry, he had never negotiated with an enemy before. But right now, that was what he was doing.

Moreover, he was actually thinking of handing over a human to this zombie? They understood that since the zombie was specifically targeting this person, that implied that he had to be special or of great threat to the zombie.

Though they did not understand what Henry was intending to do, they did not say anything. Henry had his own reasons for doing things. So, they decided to believe that this time, there was a good reason why Henry was even wasting time communicating with the zombie.

When the lady felt Henry’s gaze on her, she immediately understood what it was that Henry was trying to imply by looking at her like that.

But at this moment, her expression turned extremely cold. Of course she understood that Henry was having the intention of taking the zombie into the territory.

But that was something that she was not going to agree to. After all, if the zombie entered into the territory, there was no guarantee that he wouldn’t suddenly start attacking.

Moreover, this matter was something that concerned the leader of the territory. So, she was not in a position to make such an important decision.

"I’m sorry but I cannot allow you to enter. That is not something that I have authority to decide on. You will have to ask the leader herself." The lady stated with a resolute expression on her face.

At the same time as she said those words, she took a fighting stance, indicating that she was going to fight in case Henry and the others decided to force their way into the territory.

As for those that were standing behind her, although they hesitated for a moment, they also prepared themselves for battle. Although they understood that fighting this group in front of them was a death wish, they did not have a choice. They had to protect their families after all.

"Where’s the leader of the territory then?" Henry had no intention of forcing his way into the territory, unless it was completely necessary. So, he decided to go along, making sure that he did not cause much trouble.

The lady looked at Jason instead of responding. Just from the way that she was looking at the zombie, it was clear enough for Henry and the others to understand.

They all looked at the zombie and Henry asked, "Do you perhaps know where the leader of this territory is?"

Jason on the other hand could not help but frown. Things were getting a little complicated here. Why was it so difficult to get what he wanted? It seemed that it was always good to do things using force, rather than trying to communicate with these humans.

It was just that there was nothing that he could do at the moment. If he tried to force things, he would have to fight against Henry and the others, something that he was not willing to do for the moment.

"She fought against me. I have already taken care of her. So, can we go ahead and get what I want? This is not something big, and I do believe that it can be taken care of as soon as possible. Otherwise, we are just going to waste each other’s time." Jason stated with a frown on his face.

The moment that he said those words, the lady and the others behind her could not help but be startled. They looked at Jason with horror clear in their eyes. They could not believe what he had just said. He had already taken care of the leader of the territory?

Did that imply that currently, the territory did not have a leader? But according to them, they did not think that there was anybody else who could take over the position that Alicia would have left behind.

Initially, Jeffrey was the only one who was going to take the position. But right now, he had already been killed by Alicia. That implied that they had to select another person to take over the position. But, there would definitely be nobody else who possessed the same intelligence as the one that Alicia possessed.

Henry narrowed his eyes as he looked at Jason. Then, he asked, "By taking care of her, are you trying to imply that you killed her or not?" At the same time as he asked this question, there was a hint of killing intent that was leaking from his body.

At this moment, Jason immediately felt the killing intent that was coming from Henry. He could not help but feel a little scared. But still, he managed to regain his composure.

Looking at the expression that was on Henry’s face, although it was not that visible, but at least, it was clear to him that if he had actually killed the leader of the territory, then that implied that things were going to be more difficult.

"I’ll tell you this. It might be true that I have not killed her, but I have captured her. I hope that you don’t go ahead and start blaming me. This is the time for battle for domination. And since I have captured her, she can be considered as my spoil of war." Jason stated carefully.

Other than trying to get that person inside the territory, there was no way that he was going to willingly give away Alicia. He was having plans of his own on how he was going to use her.

With the potential that she possessed, as long as she became a zombie, then the power of the zombie race was going to be increased. Additionally, if she became a mutated zombie, then, the advantage that the zombies would be having would definitely rise drastically, making them a step ahead over all the other races present within the surrounding areas of Hillstown city.

"You are talking about spoil of war? Then should I say that after I beat you up thoroughly, you are going to be considered as my spoil of war as well?" Adam asked a little agitatedly.

For some reason, although he could not understand, the moment that the zombie said that he had captured the leader of the territory, his heart skipped a beat. Until now, he did not even know the name of the leader of the territory. But still, this feeling that he was having was definitely not normal.

What Adam did not know was the fact that even Henry was feeling something within his heart. It was just that he was not clear about it because this was the first time that he had gotten that feeling.

Jason’s frown deepened. He looked at Adam irritatedly and asked, "Do you believe that you are capable of taking care of me? You keep on spouting nonsense as if you are strong enough to be able to deal with me. I’m simply negotiating with you puny humans because I don’t want to waste time with unnecessary fights."

Adam did not respond. But at this point, he was trying as much as possible to restrain his anger. Of course he understood that at a point like this, it was the time for the battle for domination between races.

A leader of a territory present within a city like this was definitely not simple. That implied that if the leader of the territory ended up dead, the human race would end up losing one potential superpower for the future.

Of course other than that, what Adam really cared about was the strange feeling that he was feeling in his heart. He felt that no matter what, he was supposed to meet with this leader of this territory. He was not sure why, but he was going to follow his instincts just like always.

After hesitating for a moment, Adam looked towards the lady and the other soldiers of the territory and asked, "Can one of you tell me the name of your leader?"

At this point, he wanted to make sure that whoever the leader of the territory was, there had to be no relationship between him and her. Otherwise, if there was any relationship between him and her, he was going to decimate this zombie.
