Chapter 346: Arrival, We Meet Again

At this moment, outside of Hillstown City, a Jeep arrived. The Jeep looked completely like a sports car, looking small and sleek. But if one looked closely, they would realize that this vehicle actually possessed off-road tires.

The Jeep moved at an incredible speed. Whenever a zombie appeared in front of it, it would not even stop for a moment, as it would run into the zombie, crashing it into pieces.

If one observed closely, although it seemed like the Jeep was the one that was hitting the zombies, but actually, there was an invisible barrier that was surrounding the Jeep, and that was what was knocking into the zombies as the Jeep moved.

The Jeep was moving at an incredible speed as if it was in a hurry. The changes in the road did not affect the Jeep that much considering that the Jeep was able to adapt according to the specific terrain. If they managed to reach a place where it was completely flat and tarmac, it would change into sports tires.

Finally, after a while, the Jeep came to a stop. In the next moment, a group of people alighted from the Jeep. The group consisted of three young men, four ladies, and two monsters. One would ask how it was possible for this entire group to be able to fit into the small Jeep, but that was an answer that they would not get unless they entered into the Jeep themselves.

"A lot of changes have already occurred in this city. I can barely recognize this place anymore." Adam stated as he looked at the city in front of him. Currently, they had already entered into the outskirts of the city, and they were trying to find a familiar way.

But of course, their main focus was to find a territory. They understood that there was no way that their family members were going to stay in the same place that they had been living in before, considering that ever since the apocalypse came, several territories had been built in order to be able to protect the humans.

Although Henry did not say anything, but he consented with what Adam had said. The two of them had been taken away from this city when they were 10 years old. At that time, they had not understood the city quite well.

And it had already been 10 years ever since the time that they had left. It was normal that within the 10 years that they had been away, development of the city would continue.

And with the descent of the apocalypse, several changes had already occurred. The land had already been expanded, making the city extremely bigger than before. So, since they only possessed the memories of the city when they were 10 years old, they could clearly not remember everything about this city, even if it had not changed by much.

This was the first time that any other person here, other than Henry and Adam, had arrived here. They looked at the city, a little surprised by how big it was. Although they could not see the entire city, but just by looking at it, they could clearly tell that it was way bigger as compared to Lockwood City.

The three young men who had arrived were obviously Henry, Adam, and Dylan. As for the ladies, they were Olivia, Sarah, Diana, and Julie. The monsters remained to be Storm and Lenta.

After making their observations for a while, Henry looked towards another direction. He was not the only one, considering that everybody among the group looked towards that direction.

"It seems that there is a fight that is going on in that direction. The amount of killing intent in the air is kind of high. Moreover, I can feel that there is a violent aura that is in that direction." Olivia stated as she looked at that particular direction.

As for Sarah, she was looking anxious. Her family had moved away from Lockwood City, to come to this city. Just looking at it, she could tell that this city possessed way more zombies as compared to Lockwood City.

Since that was the case, that implied that the danger that her family was supposed to face after they arrived here was definitely going to be higher than what that they could have experienced during the time that they were at Lockwood City. But, that was just on the premise that they had actually managed to arrive here alive.

Henry also detected that Sarah was kind of anxious. Of course, even he himself, although he was not showing it, his heartbeat had become kind of erratic. Finally, he had come back home after 10 years. It was just that he did not know how his family was doing. Could it be that they were alive? Were they safe right now?

"Let’s try and look for a territory. After that, we will try to look for our families." Henry instructed. They could not just simply start looking around without gaining any information. So, the place that possessed the highest probability of finding their families was definitely in the territories.

The others consented. They got back into the Jeep, and Henry began driving towards the direction where they had been feeling the killing intent coming from.

The reason why Henry had decided on that direction was simply because of the battle. What if he arrived there, and found that it was a member of his family that was fighting against an enemy? Wouldn’t he be helping them if he arrived on time?

Since the fight was taking place there, that implied that there had to be a group of people present in that location. And if there was a territory, then things were going to be easier for them.

At this moment, on the battlefield, Alicia looked at the furthest end of the zombies. Although she could not see clearly what it was that was approaching considering that it was still nighttime, but just from the violent aura that she could feel, she had already realized that whoever it was that was approaching was definitely not weak.

Without hesitation, she prepared herself for battle. There was no way that she was going to hold back. Additionally, even if she was going to fight, she had to make sure that she took care of the opponent as soon as possible.

Otherwise, if the military decided to take the chance that she was engaged with the zombie that was coming over, and attacked the territory on the other side, there was no way that they would be prevented from entering the territory.

If they entered the territory, even if they were not going to take over the territory, they could as well just enter into the warehouses, and take all the high level equipment and other items. Just like that, they would have completely dealt with Trista territory.

Lightning began flickering around Alicia’s body. At the same time, if one looked closely into her eyes, they would be able to see that they were kind of shining. But still, Alicia did not pay much attention to that, she simply focused on the direction in which the violent aura was coming from.

Then without hesitation, she jumped down from the wall. She was not ready to allow that violent aura to approach her subordinates. According to the power level that she could feel from the other party’s aura, as long as it arrived, it could easily deal with those that were currently struggling to deal with the other zombies.

As she began moving forward, several zombies immediately launched themselves towards her. The majority of the zombies that were attacking her were at the gold rank. It was clear that the zombies with intelligence, the ones that were currently supervising the battle for the zombies had already realized that she was at a higher level.

And due to that reason, only high level zombies attacked her. Otherwise, if a silver rank zombie attacked her, they would not even be able to close the gap between them before they were turned into black ash by the lightning.

When the gold rank zombies attacked her, Alicia simply waved her hand. In the next moment, a net of lightning began moving forward with her as the center.

The moment that any zombie was touched by the net, they would be cut into pieces as if the net was made out of lasers. This was another skill that Alicia had found, a skill that she was using for crowd control.

At this moment, the target that she was having was the one that was the one that possessed the violent aura. So, she did not pay much attention to the gold rank zombies that were charging towards her.

At this moment, the number of gold rank zombies had already increased drastically. This was especially so considering that the population of the zombies within this city was extremely high. So, the number of zombies that had managed to reach the gold rank was also high.

Nevertheless, Alicia was not weak at all. So, those level 2, level 3 gold rank zombies did not have any capability of doing any damage to her. Although they were in large numbers of almost 20 to 30 of them, she easily took care of them with just a single skill.

Finally, after about 2 minutes, Alicia looked ahead of her. She could see that the zombies had already began opening a path in front of her.

And at this moment, in front of her, in the path that had been created by the zombies, there was a zombie that looked like a human, that was approaching. The source of light that Alicia was using to see was the net that was made out of lightning that was still casting light into the surrounding areas.

"We meet again. Well, I never expected that we were going to meet this soon. Nevertheless, I guess it is your bad luck but we have met now." The zombie that was standing almost 200 m away from Alicia stated in a calm and composed voice.
