Chapter 327: Misunderstanding

Without hesitation, she turned around and attacked. She was not sure who it was that was attacking her, but still, she would not allow just anybody to attack her. So, at this point, she activated the skill light explosive, and launched it towards the direction that she felt that the danger was approaching from.

Swoosh!

The light explosive that was formed from the light element that was activated by Sarah cut through the air as it approached the figure that was rushing over.

The figure was moving at an incredible speed, in such a way that the majority of the people that were observing from the side could not clearly see the appearance of this person.

Since Sarah was a mage, she was also not capable of following the movements of the other party easily. But still, she was able to see the appearance of this person.

The person that she saw was having wavy red hair, ocean blue eyes, and he looked extremely young, someone in his early twenties. Currently, he was wearing full body armor that was black in color.

In his hand, he was holding a long staff. The staff that he was holding was obviously completely different from the one that mages possessed, but instead, it was like that of a warrior, the one that was used for fighting, rather than improving and enhancing the skills of a mage.

When the figure realized that there was something that was charging over, he did not pause his movements at all. Instead, he simply struck forward with the staff that he was holding.

Boom!

An explosion occurred. The figure that was rushing over was forced to stop due to the explosion. And in fact, the figure was even pushed backwards slightly.

The explosion had caused the ground to crack several times. At the same time, the people that were observing from the sides were forced to retreat by the shockwave that was produced during the explosion that occurred.

At this point, excitement began boiling in the eyes of the group of people that was observing. It was extremely rare for them to observe fights within the territory. This was something related to the rules that had been set by Nancy.

This group of people had already tried checking out the information about this young man who had come over, but they could not see any. So, they could not help but wonder why people of the same group were actually fighting against each other.

Perhaps there was a conflict between the two of them? Or could it be that there was a difference in opinions, and this led them to fighting each other?

Nevertheless, none of them cared about the reason. Since they themselves could not go out of the territory in order to deal with the zombies, and could only depend on their family members who had gone out, they decided to enjoy the fight.

But of course, having already learnt a lesson before, they made sure to keep a distance away from this group of people. Nobody was willing to be involved in this fight, which might lead to their deaths if they were not careful enough.

At this point, both Sarah and the newcomer looked at each other. Sarah squinted her eyes as she tried to look at the information about this person. But, she realized that she could not see any information about him.

On the other hand, Dylan who had just arrived looked at the lady in front of him with narrowed eyes. This was the first time that he was seeing this lady. Additionally, he had already realized that this lady was two levels above him.

Had it not been for the fact that he possessed incredible strength personally, then, the attack that was launched before would have definitely been fatal to him.

"Who are you and why are you attacking me?" Sarah asked as she looked at the young man in front of her. At the same time, she mobilized the energy in her body, ready to attack in case this young man made a move.

Although she could not see the information about this person, she decided that she was going to fight against him if he decided to attack her. After all, in this situation, she was not the one who had initiated the fight, but instead, it was he who had done so.

Moreover, it was not as if there was a grudge that existed between the two of them. This was the first time that they were meeting. So, unless this person simply wanted to cause trouble, why else would he be attacking her?

Sarah wanted to deal with this matter as soon as possible. It was not only due to the fact that she already believed that Henry would be coming over after she refused to communicate with him, but also, she felt like if she did not get information about her parents, she was definitely going to lose control over her emotions.

This was something that had never happened before. Ever since she woke up, she realized that she was extremely emotional. And, right now, if the problem of the emotions that she was having was not solved, then, she was definitely going to act impulsively.

"You are asking me who I am when you are disrupting the peace and order in this place?" Dylan asked.

He was patrolling just as he was told before, but he had been passing this place when he realized that Sarah had just attacked a person. The person who had been attacked was among those that were in charge of patrolling this area.

Dylan had already seen him several times during the time that he was making his round trips. So, he had already learned a little bit about this person. And, Sarah had just attacked this person, almost killing him.

Of course there were several rules that were present within the territory. One of those rules was the fact that fights were completely prohibited. Although the duty that he had been granted by Henry was not to take care of the humans that were causing trouble, he decided to do so.

Perhaps Henry was going to reward him for taking care of the stubborn group of people within the territory. So, there was definitely no way that he was going to lose this chance.

Sarah took a deep breath after realizing that there had to be a misunderstanding between them. This person was talking about disruption of peace and order. And to say the truth, due to the explosion that had occurred before, she had injured a person, something that was considered disrupting the peace and order in the streets.

Even as she looked around, she could see that there was a large crowd of people that had already gathered in this place, watching the show.

Initially, she did not care much about the crowd of people that was gathering. To her, all that mattered was to get information about her family. And to do that, she needed to get information about who it was that held the highest position within the territory.

If that person turned out to be stronger than she expected, she was simply going there to ask for information. But if that person was weak and refused to give the information, Sarah was already planning on forcing the information out of that person’s mouth.

"I’m sorry for the misunderstanding. I’m not here to cause trouble. Instead, I was asking for a piece of information." Sarah stated as she tried to compose herself.

"Young lady, please don’t tell me that you are trying to look for information through methods of torture." Dylan asked as he looked at Sarah. At the same time, he intensified the force that he was using to grasp the staff In his hand.

Just like how Sarah was ready to attack, Dylan was also ready to do so. He had already realized that Sarah was stronger than him, but still, he believed that he was more skilled and experienced enough to be able to take care of her.

Moreover, it was not as if he was here to kill her. Instead, it was just to subdue her. That was the aim of him attacking at this point. He did not know the main aims of Sarah attacking people in the streets, but still, that was something that had to be neutralized first.

"Torture? Whom have I been torturing?" Completely dumbfounded, Sarah asked. She was wondering what was wrong with this person. When did she even torture a person?

Dylan looked towards the direction of the man who had been blasted onto the ground, who was currently trying to struggle to stand up. Then, he looked back at Sarah and said, "Then what about the injuries that that gentleman has suffered?"

Sarah furrowed her brows when she heard that. She realized that it was going to be extremely difficult to be able to explain how it was that that person had been hurt by her.

It was true that everything had happened so suddenly, and she could not control anything. But from the eye of another person, it was as if Sarah was the one who had initiated the attack.

"Ha! I have already said that I only want information. As for the matter of torturing other people for information, that is definitely not true. He is injured simply because it was an accident. Believe it or not, that’s up to you." Sarah sighed before she responded.

At this point, she had already realized that it was going to be troublesome to be able to explain to this person. So, if he was not going to listen, then, that did not mean that she was going to submit. If he wanted to fight, then she was ready for it.

When Dylan noticed that Sarah was not willing to admit the mistake that she had done, he got a little excited. At least he was going to fight a person. Additionally, this person was strong enough to be able to make him sweat a little. And that was exactly what he was looking for, other than trying to earn credit from Henry.
