Chapter 307: Zombie Nelson

After focusing for a while, information about this creature was displayed in front of his eyes.

Henry could not help but squint his eyes after looking at the information that was displayed in front of him. This was the very first time that he had seen a zombie that possessed a name.

Additionally, there was the race, and in front of it, there was the mutant mind zombie. This was definitely the first mind zombie that he had encountered ever since the apocalypse descended.

Just from this information, Henry could tell that this was definitely the mastermind behind the occurrences within the city. If they wanted to deal with the zombie trouble, they had to eliminate this mind.

Henry did not take the initiative to attack. Instead, he continued standing there, looking at the zombies as they approached. The group of zombies that was at the forefront had already been eliminated by Adam and the rest of the group of the territory.

From the looks of it, it was going to take them at least 30 more minutes to be able to clear out the large number of zombies. They could be considered useless in this battlefield.

As he continued attacking the zombies, Adam also realized that there was danger approaching. The group of zombies that was coming over possessed way more thicker killing intent as compared to the ones that were surrounding him.

As a berserker, he was very sensitive to the killing intent in the air. That was the reason why he was capable of detecting the killing intent that was approaching, although he was surrounded by zombies that were filled with killing intent.

After realizing that this amount of killing intent that was approaching was of a higher density as compared to the one around him, Adam could not help but feel a little excited.

Without hesitation, he utilized the shock blast skill. The moment that he did that, all the zombies in front of the attack were obliterated. This cleared out a path for him towards the rear of the zombies.

As Adam began moving backwards, towards the back-end of the zombies, several more zombies charged towards him, easily filling up the path that he had created.

Adam simply snorted before he attacked once again. It was not as if the skills that he was using were consuming a lot of energy in his body. Since he was dealing with low level zombies, he did not require to utilize a lot of energy during his attacks.

And just like that, Adam continued moving forward, as the zombies that blocked his path were cleared away. As for those that tried approaching him, Adam simply rotated his battle axe, cutting them into pieces.

Finally, after some hurdle, Adam finally managed to arrive at the very back of the zombies. Looking at the group of 13 in front of him, Adam could not help but squint his eyes as he focused on them, before the information about the most displayed in front of his eyes.

He also frowned the moment that he realized that there was a zombie with a name. This was also his first time that he was experiencing the presence of a zombie that possessed a name.

They had already encountered several mutant zombies during the time that they were coming from Crystal city. But until now, they had not encountered even a single zombie that possessed a name.

At the same time, Adam could not help but feel that the name Nelson was kind of familiar. It was just that he was not sure where he had heard that name from. But still, he could not help but get curious about this zombie.

The 13 Zombies on the other hand did not continue moving forward. Instead, they stopped the moment that Adam managed to get past the large number of zombies.

The zombie Nelson took a step forward and arrived in front of the 12 gold rank zombies. Each of the 12 Zombies was at the second level of the gold rank. It was just this zombie Nelson that was at the 3rd level of the gold rank.

The zombie called Nelson possessed the appearance of a human. It was not that much different, but just that the color of the skin had changed completely. It was no longer the normal color of humans with paleness, but instead, it was filled with gray spots.

Other than the gray spots, there were several parts of the skin that possessed white spots. As for the body size, it was the same as that of a normal human, with a height of about 173 cm.

The zombie possessed dark red hair, which looked like it was soaked in blood. The face of this zombie was just like the color of the skin, although the appearance was that of a human. The color of the eyes was pitch black.

The zombie was wearing a white shirt and white trousers that completely contrasted with the color of the skin. In fact, the zombie was also wearing a pair of official white shoes!

After making his observation for a while, Adam could not help but shake his head. He looked at the zombie several times, while at the same time squinting his eyes.

The zombies on the other hand did not react. The leader of the group, the zombie wearing white, simply continued looking at Adam. But still, if a person was careful enough, they would detect that the moment that the zombie stepped forward, the amount of killing intent that it was releasing increased.

At the same time, in those pitch black eyes, there was coldness. This coldness was previously present, but it had only intensified after Adam had arrived in this place. It was just that Adam did not care much about the coldness of the zombie, and only cared about the appearance and the outfit that the zombie was wearing.

"Hey, I do wonder what is wrong with you zombies. Previously, there was this guy that I gave a suggestion that he should just volunteer himself so that he can be researched on. But in the end, that guy refused. So, I had no choice but to dismember him myself." Adam stated in a calm voice.

If a person was listening to Adam for the first time, they would think that he was very serious about what he was saying. But in fact, Adam was just joking around, trying to provoke the other party. This was the joy that he had gotten recently. Initially, he would just simply charge forward and attack.

But right now, in order to make sure that the enemy was furious, so that they could attack with their full strength, Adam decided that provoking them was the best method.

Of course Adam was not an idiot. But instead, he was quite smart. He understood that if an enemy was furious, they would tend to attack without thinking. And during that situation, they would be vulnerable to making mistakes occasionally, because they would not think before they attacked.

The killing intent that was coming out of zombie Nelson intensified after hearing what Adam had said. But still, it did not move. Instead, it looked into the distance, towards the direction of the territory, as if it was waiting for someone to arrive.

"Now look at you. You yourself possess a dark skin. So, why do you have to tell everybody that you do have a very dark skin, and an ugly one at that, by wearing white clothings?" Adam did not mind that the zombie simply ignored him. But instead, he just continued with what he was saying previously.

"In any case, I do have a question. You look like an intelligent zombie, and you even possess a name. Do you perhaps think that you can join us for research? After all, you definitely possess a lot of information as compared to that giant.

Moreover, perhaps you can tell me more about how you came to have a name. Wait a damn second, isn’t Nelson a human name? And you on the other hand are a zombie. Are you trying to act like a human or something like that?

This is getting quite confusing. From the movies that I had watched during the time that I was young, I thought that the zombies thought that they were superior to humans. They wanted to eliminate the humans so that they could dominate the entire world. They thought that humans were weak, and were not supposed to be existing.

Could it be that the concept of that movie that I saw was wrong, or are you just the one that seems out of place for the zombies? But if you are out of place within the zombies, why is it that the zombies still follow you?" Adam launched a series of questions and doubts towards the zombie in front of him.

Rooooar!

And as he continued speaking, even the 12 Zombies could not hold it anymore and roared towards him. They seemed ready to attack him. But still, it was as if there was something that was holding them back, or otherwise, they would have already attacked Adam.

Adam of course did not care about what the other zombies thought about what he had said. But instead, he held his chin using his free hand, and took the stance of a person who was in deep thought.

But, he was forced to stop that act of his the moment that he heard a voice reach into his ears.

"You piece of sh*t! Do you think that this is a clown show or something like that? I’m still waiting here for that Henry of yours to show up. Since you Adam are present here, that means that he is also present. I already know that the two of you are friends. So, don’t waste my time and ask him to get the f*ck here!"
