[There is going to be an increase in the speed at which humans can level up in order to be able to catch up to the other races. This is something that has been given to the human race, to make sure that they don’t get exterminated fast.]

[But still, for the humans to be able to level up, they would have to face a lot of dangers. And due to that reason, the speed at which a person is going to be able to level up is going to depend on the person themselves.]

[Good luck to all of you during this stage of the apocalypse. Remember, the battle for domination still continues. If you gain an advantage right now, it might be capable of assisting you in the battle for domination in the future, during the grand finale.]

With that, the prompts finally stopped appearing. But at this point, every human in the entire world could feel their hearts trembling.

They had already been informed in advance that during this third stage of the apocalypse, the dangers that they were going to experience were going to be higher.

It was true that currently, many opportunities were going to arise. But with every opportunity, there was going to be danger. For them to be able to gain the opportunity, they had to go past the danger. But, what kind of danger was it? Were they even capable of avoiding the danger?

It was also true that they were going to be capable of leveling up quite fast. But, if they were not given a chance of leveling up due to the danger that they were going to experience, and ended up dying earlier, how were they going to gain this advantage?

The fear within their hearts increased as they continuously thought about this matter. Nobody was comfortable with this situation. The third stage of the apocalypse had descended.

Although it was not having the same big effect as the one that was present during the time that the second stage of the apocalypse was descending, still, the danger that it came with was stronger as compared to the one that the second stage of the apocalypse came with.

Not long after the system prompts disappeared in front of the vision of every human within the planet, finally, the other races began making moves.

From several portals that opened within different parts of the world, members of the other races descended. This immediately boosted the strength of those that had already descended into this world.

As for the monsters and the zombies, although no portals were opened for them, but still, for zombies, their strength was increased drastically. Additionally, some of them gained intelligence, something that was going to cause a lot of trouble for humans.

As for the monsters, something strange happened. Other than the increase in strength that they gained, new monsters were being given birth to by some strange things. These things had been created from the blood that had soaked into the ground, before rising out of the ground.

With the appearance of these things, the number of monsters also increased drastically. Although the majority of the monsters that were appearing were not of high level, but they were of a high quality as compared to those that were initially present in the world.

With all of these happening, just as the prompts had stated, the human race was at a great disadvantage. And, the source of the disadvantage was not just from the outside, but even from within the cities, and within the territories that had already been constructed.

Those that had been locked away, having their eyes already turned black, suddenly began taking action. Ever since they had opened their eyes, during the time that the system prompts were appearing in front of every person’s vision, they had not made any move.

But right now, each and everyone of them was giving out a large amount of killing intent, they looked straight towards the direction that the humans that were keeping an eye on them were located.

Then without hesitation, they all rushed in that direction. Since they were locked inside, they could not go out immediately. But still, the pressure that they were putting on the entrance was not small.

At the end of the day, they were not normal. Additionally, due to the mutation that they had experienced, they had become even stronger than before. And due to that reason, the entrances of the places where they had been secluded could not hold them in for a long time.

And after a while, these creatures finally managed to break out of the restriction that they were having. And the moment that they got out of there, they began attacking any human within their vision.

It might be true that the humans were prepared during the time that they were locking those that were affected by the red clouds in the air, but they had not been prepared for the attack, especially so after they had been distracted by the prompt that had appeared in front of them.

Within no time, several territories within different cities in the world were in complete chaos. The number of deaths suddenly began increasing drastically. The population of the human race began decreasing once again.

Several territories that had managed to gain an advantage over the foreign races that had descended into this world were thrown into chaos. And those races that had been eyeing them from the side did not waste this opportunity, and decided to attack.

Within no time, several territories had already been destroyed. The number of deaths completely went off the roof, with several hundreds of thousands of humans within the world dying within just a matter of minutes.

The humans were not weak. And although they were at a great disadvantage, they were still capable of holding off their enemies. Although they did not gain any advantage during this time, but still, some of them were capable of defending against the attacks of the other races and those that were attacking from the inside.

Lockwood City...

Within the city, just like any other cities within the world, chaos had already ensued. The zombies that had been idle within the city suddenly began making big movements.

All of them looked towards the direction of the three territories. As if they had been given an order, without leaving a single zombie behind, all of them charged towards the territories.

It was clear what their intention was. They wanted to completely deal with these territories. Other than eliminating any other power within the city, they were going to increase their own population as well.

As for the two territories that had two mutant zombies standing outside the main entrance, they were the ones that were facing the greatest trouble. Although the zombies did not make a move, but still, the intelligence that they possessed had drastically increased.

The moment that the horde of zombies that was approaching the two territories arrived, they did not immediately attack the two territories. But instead, they stood behind the two zombies.

The number of zombies continuously increased, without an end being seen. The number of zombies that were within Lockwood City was not to be underestimated because the initial population of the city was extremely high, higher than Crystal City.

Due to that reason, the number of zombies within the city was in millions. And although they had been divided into three groups, but still, each group possessed millions of zombies.

Initially, the total population of this city was 26 million. With over 70% of the population turning into zombies, only about 7.6 million of the total population were humans. They had managed to gather into three territories, but the number of zombies was overwhelming.

And right now, had it not been for the fact that there were still buildings present within the city, the congregation of zombies outside of the three territories would have been overwhelming to the sight.

But still, all those that were on top of the wall of the territories could see that as far as the eye could see, everywhere was zombies. And the number just kept on increasing and increasing as time went by.

Finally, after about 1 hour, the number of zombies had increased in such a way that people could not even see the end of the tide of the zombies.

It was also during this moment that the two zombies that were outside of the two territories finally took a step forward. The moment that they did so, the zombies that were standing behind them did the same thing.

The two zombies raised their hands into the air, before they pointed the fingers that currently possessed skin towards the two territories. The moment at the order was given, the zombies behind them roared and charged towards the two territories.

As for those that were within the two territories, since they could not retreat considering that the territory was completely surrounded from every direction, they had no choice but to fight. So, they all charged out, not hesitating to defend themselves.
