Chapter 296: Who Are You?

The atmosphere within the territory was filled with joy and laughter as many people celebrated. This territory had been developed, and just like the Domination Star territory, this territory had also developed a currency of its own.

But instead of using a currency that had been created by themselves, they used the mutation crystals as a form of currency. The level of the mutation crystal determined the value of an item that a person could afford.

This time, although the number of zombies that they had fought against was quite high, the number of deaths were extremely low as compared to the other times that the zombies had come over to attack.

Additionally, the harvest that they had gotten this time was so high. With Henry and the others taking care of the largest number of zombies, and not picking even a single item that had been dropped, and neither picking the mutation crystals, the territory currently possessed a lot of wealth.

But of course, ¾ of all that was gotten from the battlefield was going to be taken into the warehouse of the territory, which was controlled by Nancy. As for the rest, they were distributed amongst all those that had fought.

Of course Jason and his subordinates were completely eliminated from those that were going to receive anything. After all, they had gotten there late, something that Nancy had decided that she was going to punish Jason for that.

The atmosphere within the territory was completely different from the one that was outside of the territory, where almost everything was destroyed currently. The zombies roaming around, and the moment that they spotted a human or any creature that did not belong to the zombie race, they would attack it immediately.

Within the territory, a rare moment of peacefulness dominated. Additionally, the amount of confidence that all those that had participated in the fight possessed had increased drastically. Currently, they had already realized that there was a group of people that was inside this territory that was extremely strong.

With the guarantee of protection from strong people, they could finally do things confidently, without getting worried about being invaded by other creatures.

But of course, the security had also been increased. The movement of the zombies this time was extremely strange. So due to that reason, the security had to be increased in case something else happened as well.

Nancy had just arrived at her residence. It was a majestic villa that possessed three floors. This building was painted white, completely contrasting with the outfit that Nancy was wearing.

The villa was currently dominated with several people that were moving around. Of course all these people were those that were working for her, helping her and taking care of the villa. At the end of the day, she was just a single person, and she could not live inside this villa alone.

She had initially wanted to stay in a small building, but since she held a high position, there was no way that she could stay in a villa that was of a lower level as compared to the houses that were owned by her subordinates.

So although she did not like the loneliness that came from the big villa, she had no choice but to continue staying here to preserve the prestige that she held as the leader of the territory.

Nancy was just about to enter into the villa when suddenly, she heard the sound of an engine approaching. Of course, this was not the only vehicle that was moving around the territory, and it was quite normal to see several of them moving around.

But she was attracted by the sound of the engine considering that it was completely different from the normal vehicles. While the normal vehicles could be heard coming from a very far away distance, for this one, it was almost silent.

Had it not been for the fact that she currently possessed sharp senses, she would have definitely not been capable of hearing the sound of the approaching vehicle.

When she turned around, she realized that there was a jeep that was approaching. This was none other than the Jeep that belonged to Henry and his group.

Nancy squinted her eyes as she looked at the Jeep. She was wondering why it was that Henry and his group had decided to come over. She hoped that they did not come here to tell her that they were going to take over the territory. This was definitely not something that she was going to agree to.

After the Jeep stopped, the door of the Jeep opened, and Henry stepped out. Other than him, there was nobody else that came with him. During the time that he had been in this territory, Henry had already been informed of where the leader of the territory stayed. So, he did not need to come with anybody here.

After alighting from the Jeep, Henry looked at the lady in front of him. Until now, she was still wearing the same mask that was covering her face. This made Henry raise his brows a little. He was wondering why she was putting on a mask even at a time like this. Additionally, what was the use of the mask anyway?

Nevertheless, that did not concern him. He had come here with another aim. So, looking at Nancy, he asked, "Do you have the time to talk? There’s something that I wanted to ask you about, other than informing you about something else."

When she realized that Henry had gone straight to the point, Nancy pursed her lips but she did not say anything. After a while, she let out a sigh, before she nodded her head.

Immediately after she did that, she turned around and said, "Let us talk inside." Then without waiting for Henry’s response, she began walking towards the villa, before entering.

Henry did not say anything either. He silently followed behind Nancy. At the same time, he looked at his surroundings the moment that he stepped into the villa. It was then that he noticed that although the villa looked majestic from the outside, but inside, it looked completely simple.

The ground floor possessed the living room, and another part of it was the conference room. This was the place where in case there was a need for her to hold a meeting, she would call all those that held high positions within the territory to come over so that they could discuss some things.

After they entered into the villa, Nancy went ahead and sat on one of the couches that was present in the living room. Henry did the same, sitting opposite Nancy.

The moment that he sat down, he realized that the quality of the couches inside this villa was quite high. Although they did not look expensive, but just the material that was used in crafting the couches was not to be underestimated.

"What is it that you wanted to talk to me about?" Nancy asked as she stared directly into Henry’s eyes. Although she felt that the entire group that was composed of Henry and the others was mysterious and difficult to figure out, still, she felt that the one that was filled with a lot of mysteries was definitely Henry.

Just looking at him, she could not figure out anything about him. It was as if he was just there, but at the same time, he was not. As for his power level, she felt like he was just a normal person, a person without any strength and capability of defending himself.

But that was an impossibility. After all, after the red mist that had covered the entire world acted, all those normal people had already been turned into zombies. As for the others, they had received professions, before they became bronze rank mutant warriors.

And practically, right now, other than the newborn babies, there was nobody that was below the bronze rank that was present during the time that the apocalypse descended.

Henry did not mind the fact that Nancy went straight to the point the moment that they entered here. This was actually something that he liked about her.

"First of all, I would like to start with the information that I was talking about. The third stage of the apocalypse is about to come. So, it is better to start making early preparations before it catches you completely unprepared." Henry stated in a calm voice.

"Well, I already know about that. After all, after the second stage of the apocalypse, the third stage would definitely come. As for which stage is going to be last, I don’t really know, but I do believe that there will definitely be another stage after the third stage." Nancy responded with raised brows.

"If it was just normal, I would have definitely not wasted my time coming here trying to inform you about the descent of the third stage of the apocalypse that is about to come. But I’ll give you a hint right now, you better know that the stage of the apocalypse is going to be extremely dangerous.

It is going to be completely different from the second stage of the apocalypse. It might be true that many lives were lost during the time that the second stage of the apocalypse descended, but I assure you that as long as we are not prepared, the number of lives that are going to be lost during the third stage of the apocalypse is going to be way higher." Henry stated in a solemn voice.

Nancy was a little startled when Henry said something like that. Of course she had already been preparing herself for the third stage of the apocalypse. But right now, she could feel that there was something wrong with Henry.

Just by looking at his expression, it was clear that he was not hiding anything or lying to her. Nevertheless, she could not help but ask subconsciously, "Who are you really?"
