Chapter 282: Cleared Out, Scheme

’F*ck it! I’m not attacking again.’ Henry decided in his heart.’ No matter how much he tried to hold back, the power that was possessed in his attacks were not weak, and it did not look like he was holding back at all.

Olivia and the others also observed the expression that was on Henry’s face. Although he was trying to conceal it, it was not possible for him to be able to completely do so. So, since they were the ones that were standing closer to him, they could observe the expression on his face.

As for Henry after hearing what Adam had said, he nodded his head, deciding to go along with what Adam had said. In any case, he had decided that he was not going to attack unless necessary. So, since that was the case, he decided to simply remain standing in the same position, while observing the battlefield.

He was not sure when necessary was going to appear, but still, he had to be ready for that necessary. In case the time for him to attack arrived and he was not ready, it would definitely be troublesome.

Olivia and the others immediately went forward and attacked. Of course, for them, limiting the strength was much easier as compared to Henry. So, although it seemed that they were powerful as well, but still, the effect of the attacks that they had launched was not the same as the one that Henry had launched.

Due to that reason, since the real battle had not yet began because the others were attacking from a distance, almost everybody was glancing into the sky where the fire dragon was still floating there.

They were looking at it not only out of admiration of the strength that the dragon possessed, but it was also due to the fact that they were afraid of it. They could not think of what would happen if this dragon actually decided to attack them.

Vincent on the other hand was also observing Henry. He had already noticed that there was something strange with the way that Henry was behaving. The current morale in the battlefield was so high. This was due to the actions of Henry and the others. They had already eliminated the threat that was encroaching the territory. And for that reason, the members of the territory thought that this was a good chance for them to be able to improve themselves.

So, instead of being afraid as they faced the silver rank zombies, they charged forward enthusiastically. As for the mages on top of the wall, they did not stop to attack.

It might be true that they had already spent a lot of energy during the time that they were attacking in the first wave, but still, they possessed enough energy to be able to support those that were attacking below.

At some points, Olivia would act to save the people that were about to be killed by the zombies. She was not doing this because she really cared about the people that were about to be killed, but, instead, she cared about her father.

Since these people that were fighting currently were under her father, that implied that this was the power that her father possessed inside the territory. So, she believed that if she saved several people here, that implied that she was helping her father.

Vincent also noticed this. So, he was feeling appreciative towards his daughter. He could notice that although she was helping them, she was helping them only subtly. She did not kill the zombies directly, but instead, she only attacked them, disabling them.

This immediately gave the others the advantage of killing them. And with that, the battle became easy for everyone that was participating in it. At the same time, they began leveling up as they killed the zombies.

And in about 10 minutes, all the zombies that had come over today were finally cleared out. And with all the zombies finally dealt with, those that had been engaged in the fights and had gained a lot of improvements both shouted in excitement.

Vincent was also happy about the results. To say the truth, had it not been for the fact that Henry and his group were present, the results would have been completely different than they were now.

It was clear that the zombies that had come over today were way more than they could handle. Since that was the case, and since the backup was not coming over, that implied that the number of casualties that they would have suffered this time would have been higher.

Although they had lost several people, but still, this number was not as high as compared to the other days. It was considered a normal thing right now that people would die on a daily basis.

And this number of people that died on a daily basis increased during the times that the zombies attacked. So, although it was a sad thing that they had lost a number of people, but still, it was something to celebrate about considering that the number had dropped.

"Clear the battlefield!" Vincent instructed. At the same time, with a frown on his face, he began wondering who it was that was supposed to be coming over to give them support during this moment.

Until now, those people had not arrived. That implied that the number of casualties that they would have suffered had it not been for the presence of Henry and the others would have been higher than now.

At this point, Vincent felt that there was someone that was playing a game. And this game was definitely not good.
