Chapter 281: I’m Not Attacking Again!

On top of the wall, Vincent had also noticed the movements that the zombies began making. So, he immediately began organizing the people that were on top of the wall.

Currently, those that had reached the silver rank that were on top of the wall were having a disadvantage when it came to the zombies numerically. But still, there was no way that they could retreat, because until now, Vincent had not received any message from the leader of the territory.

This time, they were going to fight while being at a disadvantage. Had it been that they were fighting the zombies in a normal situation, the zombies would be attacking individually. But right now, looking at them, it was clear that they were organized, although they were at a higher level.

This was the first time that something like this was happening. For these zombies, at the levels that they were in, they liked individuality. As long as a zombie gained some intelligence, although it was not capable of making strategies and so on, but still, most of the zombies decided to stay alone, hunt alone, and fight alone as well.

But right now, they were moving together as if they were soldiers that were being commanded on the battlefield.

Vincent already understood the fact that the territory was definitely going to suffer this time. As he began instructing those on top of the wall, he made sure to exclude Henry and his group. Henry and his group possessed great combat capabilities, and for that reason, they were not going to attack together with the rest of the group. But instead, they were going to be given separate missions.

After giving instructions on how they were going to handle the wave this time, Vincent finally focused on Henry and his group. He looked at his daughter who was standing together with Henry and the others, but he did not comment on that.

In any case, when it came to fighting, Olivia was definitely more familiar with the group that she was in with, considering that they had been fighting together from the very start of the apocalypse. So, it was not strange that she was going to team up with them because they understood each other better.

"For your group, I will not assign to you any role. But instead, you can go ahead and help whoever you can help. At the same time, try to eliminate as many high level zombies as possible, to make sure that the casualties that are on our side are as low as possible.

But in case the level of the zombie that you are facing is higher than yours, try to make sure that you don’t fight it head on. If possible, try to stall it while we wait for backup to come from the territory." Vincent instructed.

Henry and the others nodded. This strategy by Vincent was not that bad. Of course, had it not been for the fact that Henry and the rest were possessing greater combat power, then, at this moment, this strategy that Vincent was trying to use would not have worked.

The group immediately descended from the wall. They did not use the stairs that they had used to climb up on top of the wall, but instead, those that possessed close combat professions simply jumped from above. As for the mages, they were the ones that had to remain on top of the wall considering the they could not fight in close combat. They were going to play the role of support.

They had already spent a lot of energy during the time that they were attacking during the first wave. So, Vincent thought that if they were allowed to go down, they would definitely be the ones that would be dying first.

So, he decided to let them stay on top of the wall, as they provided cover for the group that was going to fight with the zombies head on.

Henry jumped from the top of the wall and landed on the ground that was about 10 meters below steadily. For a person like him, this distance was nothing at all.

After landing on the ground, he did not decide to wait until the zombies arrived. But instead, he decided to take the initiative to attack them before they even arrived here. He wanted to take the initiative, rather than giving the zombies the initiative.

In the sky, temperatures suddenly began rising. And in the next moment, a red flame manifested. After a few seconds, the red flame that was currently burning like an inferno, suddenly began taking shape.

Since the battle had not yet began, those that had already retreated into the territory, together with those that were on top of the wall as well as those that were currently together with Henry, ready to fight the zombies, all looked up.

Although the flames that were in the sky were about 20 or 30 m away from them, they could still feel the hot temperatures that were coming from the flame. And as it began taking shape, they could not help but gasp.

The moment that the flame finally took shape, it took the shape of a gigantic dragon. The dragon was about 20 to 30 m tall. It looked so gigantic, that it even gave the majority of the people that were observing from within the territory a big fright.

The dragon opened its eyes and looked towards the direction of the zombies. And as if it had been given a command, it immediately began flapping its wings that were made out of fire, and headed in the direction of the zombies.

The speed at which the dragon was moving at was something that almost everybody that was observing at this moment was seeing for the first time.

And although they could feel that the dragon that was in the air was not alive, but still, they felt intimidated. At the same time, they thought that as long as this dragon decided to attack them, they would definitely be incinerated into ashes even before the dragon touched them.

The moment that the dragon arrived in the air above the zombies, the zombies that had been walking towards the direction of the territory finally stopped. All of them shifted their gazes and looked towards the air.

Then, several zombies that possessed long range attacks began trying to attack the dragon that was in the air. Several long tongues shot towards the air, as if they wanted to intertwine the dragon before pulling it down.

But those tongues were not capable of approaching the dragon. The moment that they were just about to touch it, they were immediately incinerated. The flames that were burning on top of the dragon’s body were so hot that even the zombies could not resist.

Rooar!

The zombies released several loud roars after their tongues were burnt. At the same time as they were roaring, they retrieved their tongues. But at that moment, the tongues were no longer as long as they were before. As for the spikes that were covering the tongues, they had already been blackened at the tip of the tongue that had not been burnt.

Just as the tongues were being retrieved, the dragon in the air finally attacked. It opened its gigantic mouth, before spewing fire downwards towards the group of zombies.

As the flame that was shot out of the dragon’s mouth approached the ground where the zombies were, it was as if a meteor was falling from the sky, and it was burning due to the friction in the air.

The zombies on the other hand, when they saw that the attack was about to land on them, they immediately tried to scatter. But they were too late in their reaction, and finally, the fire that was released from the dragon landed on them.

Bang! Boom!

A huge explosion occurred, as a thick dust mushroom cloud was released formed in the air. At the same time, a shockwave was created, causing the people that were observing from a distance not to be able to see what was ongoing at the place where the attack had landed.

After a few seconds, finally, the thick cloud of dust began settling. And after a while, everybody could finally see what had happened. And they were dumbfounded when they realized that the area where the zombies had gathered before, had suddenly become a deep pit.

As for the zombies that were in that place, there was none of them that was standing. They were either burnt into ashes, or they had already turned into a pile of black bones.

Just looking at the results, all those that were observing from a distance could not help but feel their blood running cold. They did not expect that the attack that was launched by Henry was this strong.

Just now, at least ⅕ of the zombies had been cleared out. One had to know that the zombies that had been cleared out were not low level zombies, but instead, these zombies were all at the silver rank.

And as he observed from the top of the wall, Vincent could not help but wonder in his heart, just how powerful was Henry? He was observing Henry from the very start, before he finally focused on the dragon. And to say the truth, he could feel that in case the dragon decided to attack him, he would definitely not be capable of resisting it.

Olivia and the others who knew Henry did not find this attack strange at all. But instead, they understood that currently, Henry was holding back so much. Otherwise, he was capable of eliminating all the zombies with a single attack, considering that none of the zombies that were attacking this time had reached level 8 of the silver rank and above.

Henry on the other hand was lamenting in his heart. He had tried as much as possible to hold back. But nevertheless, the intensity of the attack that he had launched was so high that it had attracted much attention towards him.

’F*ck it! I’m not attacking again.’ Henry decided in his heart.’ No matter how much he tried to hold back, the power that was possessed in his attacks were not weak, and it did not look like he was holding back at all.
