"But you know, I don’t really believe the information that she gave me. The distance from Lockwood city to Crystal city is so big. And with the dangers that lie in between, it will definitely take a lot of effort to be able to arrive here alive. So, why don’t you give me the true story?" Vincent asked with a serious expression on his face.

Vincent was trying to see if there was going to be a change of expression on Henry’s face. But all this while, he did not find anything that was going to be useful to the question that he was asking.

Since that was the case, he could only wait for Henry to tell him the truth. He had already realized that Henry was the real leader of the entire group. So if there was somebody that could give him the information that he was looking for, then that would be Henry.

Henry on the other hand simply looked at Vincent calmly. He was not sure what was wrong with this guy, because according to how he looked at it, Olivia trusted her father, and told him the truth.

Although she did not tell him the full story, but nevertheless, she did not lie to him about what had happened. But right now, it seems that Vincent did not believe what Olivia had told him, and wanted to get the truth from Henry.

"I’m not sure how much you trust your daughter. But in any case, whatever she told you is actually the truth. You can decide on whether you are going to believe her or not. But the story will remain the same." Henry shook his head as he responded.

Vincent could not help but frown at Henry’s response. To say the truth, he was definitely not pleased with the response that he had received from Henry.

But in any case, just thinking about what Henry had said, by him asking Henry about the truth, that implied that he really did not trust Olivia. But it was just that the story that she had told him, although not that much detailed, was kind of unbelievable.

Even before Henry could respond, Adam finally spoke up. "I don’t know what you are trying to get from us. But nevertheless, let me tell you something, me and my brother Henry here were actually taken to that organization when we were just 10 years old.

Our families are not small, and they would have definitely found us if it was that simple. But you know what, they did not find us for the past 10 years, and until now, we have not met with our families at all.

We are not sure about the current condition that they are in, and although we are here, looking all good, we are definitely not okay. We are worried about our own families as well.

So if it is a story that you really want, I think you’ll have to do the investigation yourself. As for whether you can actually reach Crystal city, cross the sea that is currently dominated by sea monsters, that will depend on you."

Vincent looked at Adam, and he could see that Adam was actually saying the truth. And listening to the information that he was saying, he could not help but be a little bit dumbfounded.

He had not expected that Henry and Adam actually possessed such a backstory. And from the fact that Henry did not actually refute what Adam had said, it seemed that it was actually true.

Deciding not to follow the matter anymore, Vincent sighed and said, "You can go and take a rest. Look for Stanley, my son, he will show you a place that you will be staying."

Henry nodded and stood up together with Adam, before they left the room. As for Vincent, he finally began pondering on what Adam and Henry, together with Sarah and Olivia had actually gone through.

And other than that, he was wondering what item it was the they were using to hide information about themselves. He was not sure about the current power level that they possessed, but by just looking at the two monsters outside, he could tell that they were not ordinary.

In any case, at this moment, Vincent decided that he was going to make sure that he was going to maintain a good relationship with Henry and his group. If what they had said was true, then that implied that the current power level that they possessed was definitely not to be underestimated.

If they were actually capable of moving for all that distance, before finally arriving here in a single piece, although one of them was actually injured, but still, that was enough to prove that they were actually so strong.

The moment that Henry stepped into the room that was assigned to him, he could not help but wonder at how luxurious it was. Of course if it was compared to the time before the descent of the apocalypse, then this was definitely not that much luxurious.

But in this moment of the apocalypse, at a time that the majority of the items and equipment had been destroyed, or were not even functioning, this was definitely quite better.

Another thing that Henry had noticed inside the room was the lighting. It was not just this room, but the entire mansion was currently lit up. As for the source of light, he could see that there were actually bulbs, but Henry was sure that this was definitely not electricity.
