"You are lucky this time. But believe me, there will definitely not be a next time. When we meet, I’ll make sure that I eliminate all of you." A deep and rough voice suddenly resounded. And with that, the gigantic foot suddenly retreated.

Henry and the others could feel their very souls trembling. Henry at this moment had realized that the souls that they possessed trembled not because of fear, but it was because of the power of the other party.

Just the voice that had come out of the black hole was something that they could not handle. At least with the current power level that they possessed, they would definitely be easily crushed if the other party actually managed to reach this other end.

Looking at the shrine below them from above, Henry and the group could not help but wonder just what kind of plan that high level member of the dark race actually possessed.

"I don’t know if I’m supposed to say that we are lucky to come in here, or we are kind of unlucky. After all, whatever it was that we were supposed to get, was definitely used up by that group of five before we even got here." Adam stated as he looked at the shrine below him.

"There are advantages and disadvantages in this situation." Olivia responded as she looked at Henry, before gazing at Diana and Lenta, and finally shifting her gaze on Julie last.

Even without her saying anything more, everyone could understand what she was implying. It was actually true that if they had actually not come inside this place, then Henry would have definitely not been able to reach the gold rank at this point.

Of course that was unless they encountered another gold rank apocalyptic creature or a member of another race. And only after taking care of them would Henry have a chance of reaching the gold rank.

After that, the group got out of the building. When they reached out, they suddenly realized that the black barrier that they could see from the horizon had actually disappeared.

"It seems that that barrier was actually being controlled by something within that shrine. But has anyone noticed what I noticed? There’s actually no entrance into the shrine, other than destroying here." Adam stated with a thoughtful expression on his face.

It was also at this moment that Henry and the others also realized something like that. They had not actually paid much attention to how those that operated the shrine below had actually managed to get there.

"Anyway, it doesn’t matter. Let me try to destroy that altar again. If we leave it here, we might end up risking giving the dark race another chance of rising." Henry stated before he went back into the building. After that, he jumped down into one of the holes that had been created, and arrived before the altar.

Without hesitating, he used the sword to attack. Of course, having already learned from the previous attempts, he did not hold back at all.

The moment that the sword collided with the altar, it exploded into several fragments. Henry was a little stunned at how is it was for him to be able to destroy the altar. But after thinking about the fact that the altar was right now deactivated, perhaps that was the reason.

And from this place, they could see that at the furthest end of the cave, there was a source of light. It seemed that it was actually the exit of this place.

"I’m not sure how this place was actually created, but we are separated with just the path in between a mountain. I don’t know who has the power to create a city like this. Still, nevertheless, it was destroyed. It seems that during the ancient times, things were definitely more complicated." Olivia stated as she looked at the ruined city behind them.

The others also nodded in response. It was not that they were sure about what they were thinking about, but that was just something that they had thought about.

In any case, the members of the dark race actually possessed several members with greater power. Since that was the case, it was obvious that they were not from this time, and they had actually been stronger for a good while.

Additionally, from the way that the members of the dark race seemed to be familiar with several happenings, it seemed that there had to be something that had happened in between, causing the human civilization to change to the modern era.

And right now, it seemed that they were actually going back to the ancient era, but just with a more advanced technology, and humans were way more stronger than they were right now.

Henry and the group went ahead and entered into the cave. But of course, they did not drop their vigilance at all. Although it might be true that it seemed that there was no longer any member of the dark race, they did not will to risk anything.

After a while, the group finally came out of the cave, and realized that they had finally gone out of the cave that they had used to enter into that place. It was only then that they finally heaved a sigh of relief.

When the group arrived outside, they smelled blood in the air. But of course, looking at the corpse that was not that far from where they were, they already realized who it was.

"I guess this guy was not that lucky. Perhaps he tried to do something like stealing or something along the lines?" Adam asked as he looked at the corpse on the ground.

The corpse of course belonged to Livingstone. This guy had actually been killed by Storm not long after Henry and the group had entered into the cave.

"Yeah. This guy was actually trying to think about using us, by gaining the Jeep. But he actually forgot about the fact that Storm was present, and said that out loud." Henry responded.

Adam and the rest of the group could not help but look at Henry with a hint of surprise in their eyes. This was actually the first time in a very long time that Henry had actually explained something like this.

Of course, in normal situations, as long as it was something important, Henry would definitely explain. But this was definitely the first time that he was talking about something as insignificant as Livingstone.

Looking at the surprised gazes that he was receiving from the group, Henry did not care. In any case, he just ignored them and went ahead, towards the direction where they had left the Jeep.

After coming back to their senses, the group followed Henry, before they arrived at the Jeep. They then went ahead and boarded the Jeep, before Henry drove away, with the two people that had been left behind with Livingstone.
