Chapter 263: Near-Death Encounter

"I’m acting right now." Olivia stated. And in the next moment, she rushed forward while activating the energy inside her body.

She was not sure about what was going to happen the moment that she arrived closer to the place where the space was distorting. For that reason, she had to be prepared to activate the skills that she possessed in order to save her life in case she was in danger.

Of course, she did not forget about the pendant that she had already worn around her neck. She had already focused on it as well, making sure that she was ready to activate it in case she was terribly injured.

And when he noticed that she was being pulled towards the center of the distorting space, he could not help but get even more worried.

He was expecting that she was going to activate the teleportation skill during the time that she was in the air, but he did not expect that she would not do that at all. Instead, as she began falling down due to the gravitation pull, she also began heading towards the black hole.

Other than that, she had suffered several internal injuries, making her to bleed profusely from her nose and the corners of her mouth. Nevertheless, she did not try to allow the pulling force that had already began trying to pull her down from below to succeed.

Instead, she exerted all the remaining energy in her body to pull herself up. Finally, after a lot of struggle, she managed to pull herself out of the place, bringing herself back to the ground floor of the building.

As for the building itself, it was just the way it was before, as if there was nothing that had happened. Additionally, even the shaking that was still ongoing in the basement below did not actually affect the building at all.

After she got out of the basement, she took out several healing potions and recovery potions. To say the truth, she had been completely injured at this point, and if she encountered anybody, they would be capable of killing her even if they were in the Bronze rank.

During the time that she had activated the teleportation skill, there was something that was trying to prevent her from succeeding. But not willing to fail, she forced everything within her, not caring about the energy reserves.

After taking the health potions, Olivia felt that the injuries that she had suffered were finally recovering, and the pain that she was feeling was also fading away. But it was going to take some time.

Nevertheless, she did not stop at that. She took several recovery potions, which allowed her to begin regaining her energy. Of course she could have used the restoration pendant, but there was no emergency for her to do that.

After about 1 minute, she had recovered enough. She went ahead and headed towards the direction that she thought that the black hole had not reached. After that, she launched an ice spear towards the ground.
