Chapter 246: 2 vs 1

"Let us make a move together. It seems that this group is actually a tough nut to crack." The lady spoke. And after she finished saying that, the hair that was tied behind her suddenly began swaying.

In the next moment, the lady began walking forward. Of course, she had already witnessed what Adam had done to the bulky guy. So, she was not willing to engage with Adam in close combat.

Instead, she was intending to attack from a distance. But at the same time, she was also keeping an eye on the group that was standing behind. But, what surprised her was the fact that even though the two of them were actually making a move at the same time, the group behind Adam did not make a move.

Around the lady, the wind suddenly emerged. As for the source of the wind, nobody knew, but still, the air around her became tense. At the same time, the dust on the ground began rising together with the hair that was tied behind her.

At this point, the hair that was tied finally got untied. But instead of flowing down once, it actually began floating in the air behind the lady. At this point, this lady looked like a demented spirit as she looked at Adam.

As for the other guy, he did not actually make much movements. Instead, he just began walking forward, approaching Adam steadily.

At this point, his eyes that were black in color suddenly began turning purple. The intensity of the purple light within his eyes began increasing as he moved closer to Adam. The lights in his eyes were looking like they wanted to shoot out of his eyes towards Adam.

On the other side, Adam looked at everything steadily. Of course, he had already been informed by Henry about the skills that these people possessed. So, he was not surprised by the movements that they were making.

For this attack, he did not actually evade. Instead, he waved his hand forward. And in the next moment, a barrier appeared in front of him. This barrier was purple in color.

Boom!

The shock blast that was produced by the attack launched by Adam collided with the barrier. And the moment that it came into contact with the purple barrier, an explosion occurred.

The purple-eyed guy was forced to take a few steps backwards although he was being protected by the barrier. At the same time, he could feel that the power of this attack was so high that if he took the attack directly, then, he would actually be critically injured.

"It seems that you are not only powerful, but you actually possess high level skills as compared to the current level of the apocalypse. The skills that you possess are definitely supposed to be rare at this stage of the apocalypse." The man said as he looked at Adam.

Of course, Adam was not going to focus on him alone considering that he wasn’t fighting a single person, but two of them at the same time.

Immediately after launching an attack on the purple-eyed guy, Adam turned his attention to the lady. At this point, the lady had already begun making her moves.

The hair that was floating behind her suddenly stretched. And then, for some strange reason, it solidified. The moment that it did that, it became like a pile of tree veins that suddenly began attacking Adam relentlessly.

When Adam looked at the attacks that were being launched at him, he did not retreat. Instead, he began advancing. At the same time as he was advancing, he began swinging his battle ax around, easily cutting the veins that were attacking him.

Bang! Twack! Bang!

The speed at which Adam was advancing did not reduce, but instead, it began increasing as time moved on. And, the lady also noticed this, and for that reason, she increased the intensity of her attacks.

But, no matter how much she tried, she was not capable of preventing Adam from reaching her. So, she began retreating as she attacked. To say the truth, she herself was actually shocked by the fact that Adam was actually capable of holding against the attacks that she was launching.

It was also during this moment that she suddenly realized that Adam depended on his physical body. But, that was not all, still the armor that was on his body was also high level, capable of mitigating the damage that was being caused by her attacks.

For that reason, Adam was capable of completely ignoring the other parts of his body, and focusing on protecting his head alone. For that reason, no matter how many times he is attacked, other than simple scratches that were left on his exposed parts of his skin, there was actually no much damage done to him.

Adam had already gotten tired of this drama. So, this time, he began using his skills again. First, he launched the shock blast skill.

Just as Adam’s battle ax was about to land onto the lady’s head, Adam’s movements suddenly paused. Although it was just for a split second, the lady was given the chance of moving sideways.

So, instead of landing on the head, the battle ax actually landed on her left shoulder.

The battle ax easily cut through the shoulder, chopping off the entire arm. The moment that the battle ax landed onto the ground, the lady was blasted backwards by the shockwave that was produced by the attack.

Together with that, a large amount of blood suddenly began leaking out of the wound after a moment of ’hesitation’. The blood that was coming out of the wound was not red like that of normal humans, but it had a tinge of purple within it, clearly indicating that she was not a human.

Instead of going ahead and dealing with her, Adam actually turned around. He had thought that the attack that he had launched was going to be able to deactivate the skill that this guy was activating, but, it turned out that he was wrong.

At the same time, he had actually focused on fighting this lady, completely forgetting about this guy.
