Nevertheless, he did not hesitate to crumble that piece of scroll in his hand. At the same time, he used his energy to activate the scroll.

The moment that his energy came into contact with the scroll, it suddenly lit up with a black light. And in the next moment, a very dense and ink black mist suddenly erupted.

The barrier itself was not in a physical form, but somehow, it was capable of blocking the attacks that Olivia was launching. Nevertheless, at this moment, it actually began freezing.

In no time, the black mist suddenly became black ice that was surrounding Smith. And, the cold energy that was being released by that black ice was capable of freezing the surroundings.

"What the heck is that thing?" Adam who had just arrived in the battlefield where Olivia was fighting against Smith could not help but ask as he looked at the black ice.
