Chapter 215: Completely Eliminated

"No wonder the skeletons were not capable of preventing you from coming over. But, you are just sending yourself over to me." The necromancer stated in a husky voice.

Olivia did not waste any time bantering with the necromancer. She knew that the longer this necromancer lived, the higher the lives that would be lost. So, by killing this necromancer, she would be relieving a lot of pressure from those that were fighting against the skeletons.

Although they might not be strong at the moment, but they were still very important to the territory. Although it was inevitable that there would be several lives that would be lost on this day, but, the lesser the better.

Power level: Level 6 bronze rank

Skills: Undead summoning, dark barrier, scythe mastery (basic), erosion.)

After focusing for a few seconds, a panel appeared in front of Olivia. It gave Olivia the information about the necromancer. And to say the least, she was surprised by the fact that the necromancer was actually at the sixth level of the bronze rank.

The necromancer who had already began thinking about how he was going to turn Olivia into a good puppet was suddenly stunned when he realized that Olivia was attacking. This was not something that he had been expecting.

The necromancer tried to dodge the ice beam that was heading his way when he realized that it did not have a chance of doing that at all. It was as if he was moving at a slow-motion speed, while the ice beam was moving at a fast-forward motion.

Before the necromancer got the chance of screaming, he was frozen into an ice sculpture. Then without hesitation, Olivia moved forward and kicked it, destroying it into several ice shards that were purple in color.

The moment that the necromancer died, several hundred of the skeleton warriors that were attacking suddenly froze. Then in the next moment, they turned into a pile of bones that collapsed onto the ground as if the force that was holding them together had disappeared.

Several people that were thinking that they were going to die suddenly saw that the bone monster that was about to crush them had suddenly turned into a pile of bones. This completely dumbfounded them. But still, they were thrilled by the fact that they did not have to die anymore.

As for those that were about to destroy the bone monster in front of them, they missed the attacks that they had launched the moment that the monster turned into bones. But still, they did not stop as they had to deal with the other skeleton warriors that were attacking in the surroundings.

Olivia on the other hand, after dealing with the necromancer, she looked further into the darkness with a grim expression on her face. If just the necromancer that was a vanguard was already at the sixth level of the bronze rank, then how strong was the main force?

’It seems that this second stage is aiming at making sure that the humans are completely disadvantaged. This is going to lead to the number of humans that are surviving to drop drastically.’ Olivia thought to herself. At this point, she had already realized that if they had not entered the dungeon to level up, the chances of their survival was close to zero.

But now, it was good enough that they had already leveled up. So, it was not that much of a problem to handle too.

Olivia was not the only person that had encountered a necromancer. Both Adam and Sarah had both encountered one each, and just like Olivia, they killed them with a single attack, causing the number of skeleton warriors to reduce.

With the reduction of pressure, the humans who were already having an advantage in terms of number gained even more advantage. So, it was only going to be a matter of time before the skeleton warriors were completely eliminated.

Olivia on the other hand continued to advance, but, she did so cautiously. She could feel that there was a strange and strong power in front of her. Although she did not possess an ability like Sarah, but still, she was able to tell if there was danger to her life or not.

And currently, although she was not that much sure, but still, she felt that there was danger ahead. That implied that, this was the same direction in which the leaders of the dark race were located.

Although the visuals were currently low since it was night, but, she was still able to see a few meters ahead of her. The same applied to the entire group of the humans.

It was a good thing that the skeleton warriors did not have long range attacks, or, the humans would have already suffered a very big loss by now. Although they were trying to make sure that their vision was maintained by using several flames that they had lit up as the battle went on, but still, it was not enough to light up the entire battlefield.

As she moved, she was later joined by Adam and Sarah. As for Sebastian, that guy decided to remain behind in order to take care of any problem that would emerge.

That was a good decision that he had made. After all, currently, he was the weakest amongst the four of them, but that was only compared to them. If he was fighting against a monster of the same level as him, then, he was going to have an advantage.

Although he was only currently at the third level of the Bronze rank, still, that was something that was going to be useful in case there was a strong monster or a member of the dark race that managed to sneak behind the three of them.

"Have you already taken care of the necromancers in your direction?" Olivia questioned after Adam and Sarah joined her.

"Yeah. They were all too weak, so, it did not take a lot of effort to eliminate them." Sarah responded. As for Adam, he simply nodded his head in response.

Olivia did not mind the way that Adam was acting. At least, this was way better than before. She then looked at Sarah and asked, "What do you feel about this direction?"

"I can feel that the real source of the dark and filth is coming in that direction. I do believe that the opponents that we are going to face this time are very strong." Sarah responded as she looked in the same direction that Olivia was pointing in.

"Okay then. Since they are in that direction, then, let us head there. We have to take care of them all the same, no matter what. Otherwise, we might end up having the entire territory being destroyed." Olivia stated before she led the way.

The leader of the dark race was observing the necromancers that were still there with them. He couldn’t help but ask, "It has already been a few minutes now. According to the situation, shouldn’t the human race be already eliminated by now? And, if there is any one of them that is strong, they should have already come over."

The necromancer who was the strongest amongst all the necromancers that had come over sweated slightly. Then, he responded, "According to what I can feel, the humans were waiting for us. So, they had already made preparations, making the skeleton warriors not gain any advantage by now. Additionally, there are several strong people amongst them."

As soon as he finished responding, he closed his eyes. Then, a faint glow silently erupted around him. Then after a few seconds, he opened his eyes with surprise and horror.

"What is it?" The leader of the dark race question impatiently.

"All those that we sent over have already been eliminated. The skeleton warriors that are remaining there are the ones that we who remained here are controlling them." The necromancer responded.

To say the truth, he was surprised. After all, according to what he was thinking, although they did not gain that much of an advantage due to the low number of monsters, but still, it was supposed to be a walk in the park when it came to dealing with the humans using the skeleton warriors.

These skeleton warriors were way stronger than those that had been summoned by those that came over during the first stage of the apocalypse. But even then, they had actually been eliminated that easily, and, the death-count of the human race was not that high as well.

The leader of the dark race frowned. He had not expected that something like this was going to happen. But, after thinking for a moment, he remembered about the situation. Nobody had expected that the so-called weak humans were going to be capable of preventing the dark race from taking root from the start.

"Okay. Let us make a move. It seems that those skeleton warriors are just useless as expected. We will be..." The leader of the dark race was just about to continue speaking when suddenly, he stopped and looked in another direction.

It was in the direction of Crystal City. At this time, he could feel that there was a presence that was approaching. And, it was not just one of them, but, instead, there were actually three presences that were approaching.

"Oh, it seems that they are way more impatient than we are. They are already coming over. I never expected something like this from the human race." The leader of the dark race stated as he looked in the direction where Olivia, Sarah, and Adam appeared from.
