Chapter 212: Other Races Descend

While Henry was inside the dungeon leveling up, changes had also suddenly began occurring outside the dungeon.

Out of nowhere, several portals began opening. And, out of these portals, several different races began pouring out. Their numbers could only be estimated, but still, they were so high.

There were goblins, orcs, elves, ordinary monsters, and other creatures belonging to different races. All of them looked relieved, and at the same time, excited to explore the new world that they were being exposed to.

It was just that, these races did not appear in the same place. But instead, they appeared in different parts of the world. And, coincidentally or not, wherever a certain race appeared, there were the people of the same race as them waiting for them.

Most of the time, the moment that these members of the new races that had appeared came over, they began attacking the humans in case there was any city present around.

And due to that, the humans that were still trying to hold on, after being attacked by zombies and monsters consecutively, were easily overwhelmed.

In no time at all, the number of humans that was already so small was reduced even further. It was as if the human race was going to undergo extinction if everything went on the way that it was progressing.

And as expected, just outside of Crystal city, a portal appeared. What followed was a group of humans and other creatures that did not seem human, although they possessed humanoid figures stepping out of the portal.

The moment that they came out of the portal, unlike the other races that felt excited, these ones looked towards Crystal City that was currently undergoing renovation and repairs with grave expressions on their faces.

The leader of the group, who was a person wearing a black robe, with his long dark hair being released behind his back, swaying with the wind. He was having gray skin, with blood red eyes that were staring in the direction of Crystal City.

Behind him, there was a large group of members of the dark race, consisting of creatures of the same appearance as him, together with some that looked grotesque, with a few necromancers.

The total number of those that had appeared right now had already reached as high as over 300. And, at this moment, after the last member of the dark race came out of the portal, the portal finally closed.

It might actually seem that the 300 people could not be compared to the over 30,000 humans that were present within Crystal City, but, that was completely wrong.

For all those that had appeared here, all of them were in the bronze rank. Additionally, there was not even a single one of them that was below level 5 of the Bronze rank.

If there was a person that was given a chance of viewing the number of members of the other races that had come into this world through the portals, and compared them to the ones that had come from the dark race, then, they would immediately realize that the those from the dark race were the ones that possessed the smallest number.

But, although that was the case, when it came to the power levels, then, unlike the other races where there were several Rank Os amongst them, the ones that had come from the dark race only cared about quality, rather than quantity.

"All of you, you have to be cautious about this city. We have sacrificed numbers in order to make up for the quality. The previous time, those that came before us did not succeed in taking over the city and setting a foothold for us.

But, that is something that we are supposed to change. So, I hope that none of you makes a mistake of underestimating the opponent. That is the order of one of the supreme ones of our dark race.

Additionally, you have to pay attention to a single person. I do believe that all of you have his appearance in your mind. That is the person that we are supposed to eliminate in order to make sure that our dark race can regain our advantage that was lost due to the fact that we did not gain anything during the first stage of the apocalypse." The leader of the group, the one that was standing at the forefront of the group stated with a hint of seriousness.

This time, before they came over, they were instructed that they had to be careful. From the start, wherever a certain race was introduced into this world, then, that was the same place that the consecutive members of that race were going to appear.

And, that was just what had happened. And it was also due to this reason that the majority of the new races that had appeared always tried to make sure that they conquered the area that they were in, to make sure that there would be no problems in the future when the other members of their race came over.

As for the dark race, they had an advantage of the fact that, where they had appeared was actually outside of Crystal City, and not inside. Otherwise, if they were supposed to be appearing inside Crystal City every moment, then, whenever they appear, they would be attacked.

And, had it not been for the fact that they had received the information from the owner of the clone that was destroyed, then, they would not have even realized that when they came over, the situation was completely different from their expectation.

Just like the other races, they would have definitely sent over a large number of members of the race. But now, since they already knew that those that had come before them did not succeed, then, they had decided to use quality in order to make sure that they completely eliminated the human race that was around this area.

"Now, you have to make preparations. We will be attacking at night. As for necromancers, you can go and start hunting monsters. Since you currently cannot get humans to make skeleton warriors, you will have to do with monsters." The leader stated.

Immediately after that, the members of the dark race retreated, making sure that they stayed far away from Crystal City. This was just to ensure that nobody spotted them. They wanted to use an advantage of a surprise attack, in order to catch the human race that was taking this place as their base off-guard.

Inside the Domination Star territory, both Sarah and Olivia were inside a room. Inside this room, the two of them were trying to control their elements, trying to improve their manipulation over them.

But suddenly, Sarah who had her eyes closed opened them abruptly. Then, she turned her head and looked towards a certain direction. At this moment, she felt extremely uncomfortable.

"Olivia, there is trouble that is coming over." Sarah stated.

Olivia who was fully concentrating on trying to manipulate the ice element in the other end of the room suddenly stopped. Then, she looked at Sarah and asked with confusion clear in her eyes, "What trouble are you talking about? Do you perhaps have some trouble in controlling your element?"

Sarah shook her head as she responded, "Not that one. I feel that there is a lot of filth that has appeared. It is so dark, and the dark killing intent is overwhelming. I can feel it. It is not that far from the city."

Olivia immediately stood up. Although she had not yet understood what Sarah was trying to imply, but still, she immediately realized that there was certainly danger that was approaching them.

"Can you give me a direct description to the feeling that you are getting?" Olivia questioned. Currently, she was the only one that was left in the entire territory that possessed the authority of commanding everyone.

That implied that, she had to make sure that the safety of the territory was ensured. She was not ready to have Henry coming back from the territory dungeon, only to find that the territory had been destroyed.

"I can feel them. The members of the dark race. They are here. Although they are far away, but, I can still feel them. Additionally, they seem to be way stronger than those that we faced before. They possess immense killing intent towards us." Sarah responded as she stood up as well.

At the same time, she tried to concentrate using the light element that she possessed, to try and feel the exact location where this dark feeling was coming from.

She was just about to grasp where this feeling was coming from, but, suddenly, it disappeared completely. It was as if it did not exist in the first place.

But even so, Sarah did not give up. She continuously used the light element, in order to try and get the feeling of the opposing element. And, she finally found it, although it was very weak as compared to the one that she felt before.

"They have appeared in the Western part of the city. As for the distance, that is not something that I can guess. But what I am sure about is the fact that, we are going to be attacked very soon." Sarah stated as she opened her eyes.

"It seems that these people from the dark race are not going to give up. And, I really hate these necromancers." Olivia stated.

It was not that she was afraid of the necromancers, it was just that, they were actually a trouble to deal with as long as they possessed a huge army. The previous time, it was due to the Jeep that they had been able to annihilate the skeleton warriors that were numbering up to almost a million.
