Chapter 207: Third Summoning

After the Domination Star territory took over the entire crystal city, peace was finally able to return to the city. Currently, there were no longer the small fights that occurred from time to time as several gangsters that had managed to survive until now went ahead robbing others for their own benefits.

But, it was obviously impossible to be capable of controlling everyone. Currently, Crystal City possessed a population of over 30,000 people. So, it was impossible for Henry to be able to control all of them, preventing them from engaging in the small fights.

But, he had already made himself clear. If anybody was found breaking the rules that had been set, then, that person was going to be executed immediately.

Henry did not go around with the matter of giving punishment like locking a person away. Currently, what they needed the most was order and respect for those that held the higher positions.

And, the best method that they could use at this moment was fear. They had to ensure that all these people under them feared making a mistake. So, Henry had no choice but to apply the cruel method.

It was true that the majority of the people that were within Crystal City were against what Henry was doing. But, there was nothing that they could do considering that they did not have the power to go against him. And anybody that tried to do that, was either killed or crippled.

It was tyranny of the highest level, but still, it was reasonable. Henry only targeted those that broke the rules, or tried to rebel. As for the others that followed the rules, he was not against them at all.

Of course, as he had said previously, he did not accept leechers. For that reason, Henry had gone ahead and assigned several duties to several groups of people. And of course, he was not the one who did this personally, but, all of this was organized by Olivia and Jasmine.

Those that possess non combat professions were assigned to do something that was related to their profession. For them, to be able to level up, they had to get an achievement that was related to the profession that they possessed.

Although they could also level up by killing monsters, but, since they did not possess high combat strength, they were definitely not be capable of dealing with monsters and other apocalyptic creatures of the same level as themselves.

Although some of the people were quite lazy, but, they had no choice. After all, Henry had gone ahead and introduced the merit system. As long as someone accomplished something, then, they would be given a certain amount of merit.

It was that merit that was going to be used in order to be able to acquire food and other necessities from the main territory. As for those that did not possess merits, they could only stay hungry. And if they were found trying to snatch away another person’s property, then, they would be killed on the spot.

Henry himself did not focus much on this. Although it took them about 3 days in order to be able to stabilize things, but, that was enough. Currently, although the city was destroyed to a great extent, it was not to the extent that there were no houses that could host people.

Additionally, there were several people that possessed craftsmanship professions. Together with the assistance of other people, they were able to repair several houses.

As for the mechanics, Henry had given them the one star vehicles for them to be able to do some research. If he could save some mutation crystals, then, it was not going to be a bad thing.

But of course, he knew that to be able to research on how to upgrade the vehicles, it was definitely going to take some time. Additionally, some of the materials that were used by the system in upgrading the vehicles could not be found currently. So, Henry had no choice but to purchase them from the system. It was just that, the price was not that high, something that made it convenient for the research to continue.

During the past few days, Henry himself had been focusing on trying to fight against other silver rank monsters within the system space. Since he himself had already reached the silver rank, it was not a problem for him to be able to fight a silver rank monster anymore.

But so far, the maximum that he could fight against was a level 2 silver rank monster. As for above that, he had to either resort to the duplication or the fusion skills.

When he was facing off against a level 3 silver rank monster, although he was capable of fighting against it, he was not capable of getting any advantage against it. But, he believed that it was not going to be long before he would be able to defeat it.

His combat experience was continuously increasing, and he believed that, by the time that he would be able to enter the territory dungeon once again, then, he should be able to level up by several times.

He was not the only one that was improving. Olivia and the rest of the group would from time to time go to the forest that was located in the southern part of the city to fight against the monsters.

But, for some strange reason, the large number of monsters had suddenly vanished. So, the monsters that they could encounter were quite sparse, something that did not make any sense at all.

Still, although they were not able to level up and reach the silver rank, but, at least they were able to get a large number of mutation crystals. And, these mutation crystals were used by Henry to upgrade several buildings within the main territory.

Of course, he had to ensure that he left something stable behind. So, while the craftsmen were in charge of repairing the buildings, he would upgrade them.

After that, he would grant these upgraded buildings to people as long as they spent their merit points. It was just that, he did not set the price high considering that, it was not long ago that he had introduced the merit system. So, it was obvious that many people did not possess a large number of merit points.

But still, several people combined their merit points in order to be able to gain a good house. And apart from that, they would also be getting several other equipment that enabled them to gain even more merit points as it was easy for them to do their job.

At this point, Henry had also decided to learn more skills. The first one that he learned was the false regeneration that he had received after killing Chris. Other than that, he was able to learn another skill that was called fire clone.

Then, there was a sword skill that he had gotten from the system called damage distribution. This was actually related to the summoner profession.

This skill enabled him to share the damage that either he or his summoned creatures received. With this skill, they would be able to pass 20% of the total damage that he would have received to the others.

Although 20% did not seem that much, in case of a situation where his life was in danger, then, he could actually pass 20% of the damage that was attacking him to his summoned creatures.

Then, this 20% damage would be shared proportionally amongst all his summoned creatures. So, the damage that they were going to receive was not going to be that high as long as they were at the same level as him.

It was just that, if his summoned creatures did the same thing, then, he was the one that was going to receive the 20% damage alone. And, although it seemed greatly disadvantageous to him, it was still a life saver.

The present day being a Monday, Henry had decided that they were going to begin entering the dungeon the following day, on Tuesday. Since the dungeon was being used twice in a week, then, it was already refreshed for the week since midnight.

It was just that, Henry had no choice but to postpone the time that they were going to enter the dungeon considering that, there was still a lot of things that had to be handled.

And before that, Henry had decided that he was going to summon his third creature. After reaching the silver rank, he had the opportunity of summoning yet another creature.

Of course, he did this within the main territory, but in an area that was not close to where people were.

Following the normal procedures, Henry mobilized the energy in his body to his hand. Immediately after that, his hand began glowing golden.

After taking a deep breath, Henry went ahead and placed the hand that was glowing onto the ground. And, the moment that the hand touched the ground, the golden light suddenly began spreading onto the ground, within a 5 m radius.

After a few minutes, a Golden circle with a blinding light appeared. The ground began shaking slightly before a majestic presence appeared.

And as the light began fading, a figure was revealed. It was just that, the pressure that was coming from this figure was capable of suppressing everybody within the territory with the exception of Henry, Diana, and Storm.

And as all of this was happening, it immediately attracted the attention of all those high powerhouses within the main territory. Diana, Olivia, Sarah, Adam, and Jasmine both headed in the direction that Henry was doing the summoning.

As the light faded, Henry looked at the figure that had appeared in front of him.
