Chapter 187: Into the Territory Dungeon

This was the first time that Henry had heard about something like this. Even in the system store, he had not found anything about increasing the quality of the skill. What he had found was the possibility of upgrading a skill to the next star level, but nothing more than that.

’What can be used in order to upgrade the quality of the skill? Can it be found within the system store?’ Henry asked curiously. At this time, he had already deactivated the fusion skill, and he was back to his normal self.

[The host has to remember that everything can be purchased from the system store. That implies that it is possible to purchase an upgrade of the quality of the skill from the system store.]

Henry of course understood that it was difficult for him to be able to acquire something like that from the system. It had to be expensive, and for the system store, it only displayed the items that he possessed the currency that he could purchase using.

Currently, he was capable of purchasing a lot of things, but, all of them were miscellaneous. There was nothing else that he needed to purchase from the system, because he had made a huge purchase during the time that there was a discount from the system.

Still, there was something that Henry could not understand. He possessed something that was capable of increasing the quality of the skill that he had? How come he didn’t know?

[The host received a reward from the special test. That reward was that, the host will be able to improve the level of a single skill, no matter the level of the skill. It is just that it was not specified that it was supposed to be the quality level, and not the star level.]

Henry finally understood. It turned out that he possessed something that incredible. Additionally, he was wondering how it was possible that he had received something as overpowered as that at the beginning of the apocalypse.

Additionally, the challenge that he had faced at that time was definitely not at the same level as the one that he had faced during the time that he was fighting against the clone.

He was wondering by what means the challenge that he was facing was being judged before he was being rewarded. Could it be that all of this was related to the fact that it was a special test, so, he was rewarded greatly?

Anyway, Henry finally decided not to focus on the matter for now. Although he found that the fusion skill was good, it was something that required time in order to be fully displayed. So, there was no way that he was going to use that chance on this skill, unless he did not have any other choice.

Additionally, he did not know if he was going to need this chance in the future. So, it was way better if he kept it for later on. After all, nobody could guarantee that he would not be able to get a good skill that he could upgrade in order to have even better effects.

With that decision made, Henry finally focused on his training. Making sure that he limited his strength, he continued fighting against many and many level 9 bronze rank apocalyptic creatures within the system space.

It was a good thing that the duplication skill did not have much of an impact on him, other than the heavy consumption of energy. So, Henry did not need to worry about that.

As time moved on, Henry fell to that his strength was continuously getting improved. It was not raw physical strength, rather, it was his combat experience that was increasing.

He found methods that he could utilize in order to deal much more damage, to easily avoid damage and so on. Additionally, there was even a time that he had fought against the monsters without depending on the armor on his body.

This was just to make sure that in case he was facing off against a creature that was capable of attacking him through the armor, just like the shadow dagger that he had received, he would be prepared for the injuries.

[Your time within the system space ends within 10 seconds. 9...8...7...]

Finally, the 3 hours that Henry was supposed to be inside the systems space elapsed. After the countdown, Henry was brought back to reality.

Outside, 3 seconds had already gone by. But, inside the system space, that was enough for 3 hours. In just 3 seconds, Henry’s body and mentality had already transformed.

After everything within the territory was dealt with, Henry finally decided that they were going to use the territory dungeon. It was going to be better if they upgraded themselves as soon as possible, considering the they currently possessed a chance of doing so.

Olivia’s group was the one that was going to go in first. Henry believed that currently, the territory required the strongest person to remain behind. And, he was sure that after Olivia and the group came out of the territory dungeon, they would have already grown stronger.

So, at that time, it would not be a problem for the territory to be taken care of by them.

After it was decided, Olivia, Jasmine, Sarah, and Adam all brought half of the warriors that were present within the territory to the main building of the territory.

The group then headed towards the location of the territory Dungeon entrance. It was located on the ground floor, and it was just like a normal door.

The door Itself was about 5 m wide, and 7 m tall. Of course, it was a double door. When the group arrived there, they were required to place their hands on the door.

Olivia and the group stepped forward, placed their hands on the door. A pink light suddenly shot out of the door, and enveloped the group that was having their hands on the door.

In the next moment, as the light disappeared, the entire group had already disappeared as well. It was clear that they had already been taking inside of the dungeon.

After making sure that everyone had already entered the dungeon, Henry finally decided to deal with another matter. That was, just before Olivia’s group entered the dungeon, he had received yet another warning that there was a group of intruders.

When he arrived before the territory protection barrier that was currently some distance away from the main territory building, he found that there was a group of people waiting outside.

All of them were looking at the barrier with horror clear in their eyes. At the same time, Henry noticed that there was a stench of blood in the air. It was clear that a person had already been killed by the territory barrier.

Anyway, Henry did not feel guilty that a person had been killed. After all, the territory was able to judge if the person that came over had come with malicious intent or not. If the person came with the aim of invading the territory, then, that person was definitely going to be killed as long as they attached the barrier.

"What do you want here?" Henry asked with a frown on his face. It might be true that he really wanted to have subordinates inside the territory, but, he had his own limits. He was not going to just take anybody inside the territory.

Additionally, since Olivia and more than half of the core members of the territory had already entered the dungeon, there was nobody that was going to manage this group. So, he was not willing to bring in a group that needed supervision every now and again. Nelson was a good example of that.

The group finally came out of their stupor when they heard Henry’s voice. They looked at him, fear still within their eyes. Then, one of them took a step forward and pointed at Henry as he said, "You have to give us compensation. One of our members was killed right here, so, you have to do something to pay for his death."

Although he was talking so rudely and arrogantly, he did not try approaching the barrier. But still, he had already realized something. Since Henry was inside the barrier, that implied that he was capable of entering the barrier.

He was not sure what was inside, but at least, he believed that there was something good inside there. If possible, he was wishing so that his group could be let inside. At that time, they would be able to deal with Henry, before taking whatever goods were present inside this area for themselves.

Henry on the other hand looked at the guy as if he was an idiot. Not willing to argue with them, Henry said, "You came here with the intent to rob. You better get lost right now before you start regretting coming over here. It will not just be a single person this time, but, all of you will have to remain here."

As he said that, Henry released a hint of killing intent. He was not going to attack if they did not, but still, if they tried, Henry would not hesitate to kill them.

The entire group of about 40 people felt a chill down their spines when Henry released a hint of killing intent. They immediately felt threatened. But still, there was always an idiot amongst the group.

It was a young man who was wearing several golden chains around his neck. He looked at Henry and began shouting "What the f*ck! You think you..."
