The next thing that Henry focused his attention on was the things that had advanced after the upgrade of the territory to the second level. The first one was of course the barrier that surrounded the territory.

He had seen as the blue light expanded, completely surrounding the territory in a dome shape. So, he could guess that that blue dome was actually the barrier that was protecting the territory all along.

Just after Henry thought about the territory barrier, another prompt appeared in front of him with information about the territory barrier.

[Territory protection barrier: an invisible barrier that surrounds the entire territory. It is able to protect the territory from any kind of danger as long as it does not exceed the level of the barrier.

The level of the territory protection barrier is the same level as the Lord of the territory.

The territory protection barrier has gotten a new function, counter attack. As long as a hostile force is detected, if the hostile attacks, then, the territory protection barrier is going to counterattack.

The current power of the counter attack function of the protection barrier is at the same level as the level of the Lord of the territory.

Note: All these features of the barrier are going to be upgraded with the level of the territory Lord.]

Henry took a deep breath. The problem that they had been encountering during the previous night when they were facing the large group of monsters was of course the lack of attack power.

Although it might be true that all those that were fighting were considered quite good when it came to combat, but, the numbers did not just add up. So, that was the reason why they had lost two people despite facing a group of monsters that was not considered that strong.

All the bronze rank monsters had already been taken care of by Olivia, Sarah, Jasmine, Diana, and Adam. For that reason, those that were killed were simply overwhelmed by the large number of monsters that had attacked at that time.

But now, the current territory barrier actually possessed an attacking function. Although it only worked or activated after someone attacked, but still, it was way better. After all, who was that enemy that was going to just come over and begin shouting without attacking?

Additionally, the power level of the counter attack function of the barrier was at the same level as himself. That implied that, the power level of the territory barrier was actually at the sixth level of the Bronze rank.

Had this function been there the previous night, then, there would have been the elimination of a large number of monsters, not giving them a chance of retreating after he had killed the black tiger.

Shaking his head, Henry decided not to focus on that matter anymore. For testing out the capabilities of the territory barrier, he would have to wait until the time that a person came over to attack. It was going to be only at that moment that the territory barrier was going to activate this function. It was like a passive ability of the barrier, not an active one that could be activated at any moment.

Finally, Henry paid attention to the reward that had been mentioned. According to the prompt that he had received previously, it was stated that he was going to receive an extra reward for upgrading the territory to the second level when all the buildings within the territory had been upgraded.

[Extra reward: Subordinate summoning function; As the Lord of the territory, you are granted the ability to summon three members of the territory to fight beside you.

The condition for using this ability is that, the person that is going to be summoned is a member of the territory. Additionally, that person has to be within the territory for this function to be activated.

This function can only be used three times in a month.]

Henry was a little excited after reading the information about this extra reward that he had received. He was not sure if this was going to be a skill that occupied his skill slot or not, but still, he was happy about the ability.

If he previously had this ability during the time that he was fighting against the clone, during the time that he was going to pass out, he could have simply summoned a single person to come over.

And with that, he would not have been at any risk of death. But still, there was something that Henry did not understand. That was, he did not know if this function was going to work in some special areas like the dungeon, or, there was a limit to the distance that the ability could be activated.

Nevertheless, he did not care much about this for now. Since he had already gotten the ability, he claimed it. And, it seemed that it did not take any skill slot. That was something that made Henry feel relieved. Otherwise, if it was going to occupy a skill slot, then, he was going to have to wait until he reached the silver rank for him to be able to learn the skill.

After he was done with this, Henry finally left the territory building. Not much changes had occurred to the territory building, other than the addition of a single door that was located on the ground floor, belonging to the territory Dungeon.

Other than that, there was that upgrade over the defenses of the territory building. During the previous time, when he had attacked the Necromancer using his sword, he had actually destroyed a part of the floor. So, it was good that the defense of the territory had been improved.

After the upgrade of the territory, everyone inside the territory was amazed. They could not help but wonder just what Henry was doing. Of course, Olivia and the rest of the core members had some idea about what was going on.

It was just that they were not sure about that, so, they waited for Henry to complete what he was doing before asking. And when they asked, of course, Henry did not hide anything from them. In fact, he informed them that there was a new function that had activated in the territory.

When the group heard about the function of the territory, they could not help but get amazed. After all, that was like an experience point source. They could simply go there to hunt so that they could get at a higher level.

"We will start using the dungeon after we make sure that everything here has already been settled. We have to go inside the dungeon in groups, as we cannot leave the territory completely unguarded." Henry stated.

Olivia and the rest of the group knew what he was implying. They did not know about the behavior of the people that were currently inside the territory. It might be true that Jasmine knew about those that had been protecting her father during the time that he was a governor, but, she did not know about their families.

Additionally, these people could always change their minds according to the situation. This was the apocalypse after all, and, morals were one of the least things about humans that could be trusted.

The group was just about to continue chatting when suddenly, they heard the sound of something huge approaching. And, from the intensity, it was clear that whatever was approaching had the intention of sweeping through the entire territory.

Since the group was outside the territory building, they both looked towards the direction of the North. Then, they saw something that surprised them. That was, there was actually a large wave that was approaching them.

"Seriously? A tsunami right at this moment? Why is it that calamities come after another? It was not long ago that there was a storm, and now, there is going to be a tsunami? Then what next? An earthquake?" Adam could not help but complain.

It might be true that they possessed incredible combat capabilities. But, it was also true that they could not survive inside the water. So, even if they possess great combat capabilities, if they entered into the water, then, their power was going to be reduced.

And right now, just looking at the size of the wave that was approaching them, they felt that there had to be something wrong with this tsunami.

Currently, the territory that they were in was located in the eastern part of Crystal City. They were a long distance away from the sea that was located in the Northern part of the city. But, still, the wave that was approaching them was at a height of about 600 m.

They themselves were about 20 km away from the Northern area of Crystal City. So, even if the tsunami was big, how come it was this big even after entering this deep into the land?

At this moment however, Olivia’s expression shifted for a moment. Then, she stated as she looked at the wave that was approaching at an incredible speed, "There is a large number of monsters within that wave."

After hearing what she had said, Henry did not doubt her. After all, she was the one who possessed affinity towards ice, which was just another form of water. So, it was not difficult for Olivia who currently possessed ice manipulation to be able to detect that there were actually several life forms within the water.

"So, I guess this can be considered as an attack from the monsters of the sea?" Sarah could not help but ask. The wave that was charging towards the territory was quite intimidating.

"This has to be the case." Olivia stated as she looked at the wave. She was wondering if they were going to handle this wave. But, before she could say anything, Henry spoke.

"You don’t have to worry that much. The territory barrier should be able to prevent the water from entering the territory." Henry stated confidently.
