Chapter 170: What Can They Do About It?

While Sebastian was still focusing in the direction of the red sphere, he felt that there was danger approaching him. He reacted immediately, raising one of his hands to block the attack.

Boom!

Explosive force connected with the hand that he had raised to protect himself. The strength that was contained within that blow immediately pushed Sebastian who had not been expecting to be attacked at this moment several feet away.

Sebastian felt his hand going numb, and even the bones in that particular hand that he had utilized to block the attack were in pain. It was clear that there might actually be some fractures that had occurred on the bones of the hand.

Sebastian’s pupils narrowed as he looked towards the direction of his assailant. He realized that the one that had attacked him this thing was Adam, who had already stepped out of the barrier.

Sebastian felt his heart palpating a little as he looked at Adam. Although he had expected that Adam was strong, after seeing his stats, but, it was completely different when experiencing the strength of that Adam possessed first hand.

Sebastian was about the question Adam why he had attacked when Adam spoke first.

"I did not attack you using my full strength, and neither that I use my weapon or the skills that I possess. This is to inform you that you better get out of here if you don’t want things to get messy." Adam stated as he looked at Sebastian with an indifferent expression on his face.

Sebastian on the other hand did not like a bit of what Adam had just said. Additionally, he believed that that had it not been a sneak attack on him, then, he would have been capable of blocking it.

He was just about to say something when suddenly, Adam shot forward once again. This time, he did not use his fists to attack, but instead, he swung the battle axe that he was carrying.

Although it might be true that Sebastian did not come over with the intention of attacking their territory, but still, I had already given him a warning, informing him to leave. But, it seemed that the other party was not having any intention of getting out of here.

Currently, although Henry did not care about Sebastian, that did not imply that Adam did not. Since this was going to be considered as a secret of their territory, then, all those people that were uninvolved were supposed to be out of here.

Sebastian suddenly felt a chill running down his spine when he saw that Adam was attacking him. Although he was not utilizing any skill, but still, just the sheer power of that was contained in the attack that was coming his way made him feel threatened.

In response to this attack, Sebastian took the great sword that he was carrying on his back, swinging it forward in order to block the attack.

Currently, people had already retreated from where the two of them were engaging with each other. Had they not retreated, then, they might be caught up in the middle of the fight between the two of them, and it was not going to be difficult for them to be killed since they had not reached the bronze rank.

Bang!

The two weapons collided in the air. A huge shockwave was immediately created, blowing away dust in the surrounding devastated area.

Sebastian had expected that since the two of them were at the same level, and, they were of the same grade despite the difference in the professions that they possessed, they were going to have a draw.

After all, this time, rather than being sneak attacked, he was facing Adam head on. Although he was not the one that was attacking, but, since he had taken the initiative to block the attack, he had definitely utilized his full strength, despite not using any skill.

But, he was completely wrong. The moment that the two weapons collided with each other, rather than the two of them coming to a draw, Sebastian was pushed back once again. And this time, the distance that he was pushed back was even great as compared to the previous time when Adam attacked him.

"You are no match for me. That is going to be my last warning. You better get out of here if you want to stay alive. But if you continue provoking us, we don’t mind getting rid of you." Adam stated as he looked at Sebastian. He was ready to make a move as long as Sebastian showed any signs of resistance.

Sebastian on the other hand felt his heart palpating. Although he was furious that Adam was talking to him like that, but at the same time, he was a little scared. If Adam was this strong, then, what about the leader of the territory? Wasn’t that leader going to be way stronger?

Although he really did not want to admit it, he knew that currently, he was the one at a disadvantage. Moreover, although Adam had attacked him, he did not detect any killing intent coming from him. That implied that Adam never had the Intention of killing him before, even during the time of the sneak attack.

Although unwilling, Sebastian gave Adam one last glance before he turned around. He looked at the group that had already retreated and said, "We are going back."

He did not need to explain anything as everyone had already experienced what was going on. Just a single person from this territory was this strong, then what about the leader of the territory now?

After getting into the car, Sebastian threw one last glance towards the red sphere, before deciding to leave. Anyway, since the other party did not have the intention of killing him and his group, then, it might actually be a misunderstanding between them.

Adam watched as the group retreated. After making sure that they had gone away, he turned around and went back into the territory. Currently, outside of the territory protection barrier, there was nobody there.

Even the parents of the children who were inside the territory had already gone away the previous day. After all, there was no way that they could continue staying there without food and water.

Additionally, their children had already informed them that they were being treated well inside there. Since that was the case, then there was no need for them to be worried so much about them. So, they planned to be coming over frequently to see them.

As for where they had gone to, that was of course to the other bases that accepted them. Since they were other camps that could accept them the way they were, there was no need for them to continue starving at the entrance of the territory, despite knowing that their efforts were not going to bore any fruit.

Adam arrived in the area where Henry was. He looked at him with a frown on his face as he asked, "Are you not afraid of that that secret ability of yours is going to be exposed?"

That was something that Adam did not understand. After all, despite Henry knowing that there was a group that was watching him outside the barrier, he still went ahead and revealed his ability.

"You don’t have to care much about them. Anyway, even if they know about my ability, what are they going to do about it? It is not as if they can beat me. Moreover, it is not a must for them to be able to know that I possess this ability for them to attack me, rather, if we are bound to clash with each other, then, we are going to clash, there is no preventing that." Henry responded.

Adam looked at Henry, finding logic in what he had said. Currently, in this apocalypse, it did not matter if a person was your enemy or not. As long as a person poses something that the other party liked, then, they might be attacked.

Sometimes, there were even some groups of people that simply attacked others for fun, not having any good reason for that.

And what Henry had just said was true. Even if the other party knew about Henry’s ability, what was he going to do? Nothing. If he could not even beat Adam, there was no mentioning about Henry.

After all, currently, although he did not know about Henry’s current power level, but still, he was sure that Henry had become more stronger than before.

At the end of the day, Henry had killed a creature of which whose level he did not know, but still, he knew that it was formidable considering that it was able to prevent Henry from coming back immediately after dealing with it.

Then, there was the black tiger. Although he had not experienced the fight because he was unconscious at that time, but, he had already been informed about what had occurred.

"Forget it. Anyway, if there is anybody that dares to try anything funny on our territory, I won’t mind sending them off. Although it is true that this is the better for domination between races, there are some periods of time that we need to take care of other humans before we take care of the other races." Adam shook his head as he spoke.

Henry on the other hand did not respond. Instead, he focused on the red sphere in front of him that was currently dissipating. It seemed that the upgrade was already being completed.

After about 30 seconds, the red sphere finally completely disappeared, revealing a new building in front of the two.
