Chapter 165: Traitors of the Human Race

The bulky guy on the other hand got even more furious. "That’s enough! I don’t believe that there is actually a scum over human that is still present, abusing other humans despite the fact that currently, the human race is in danger! Just you wait, I’m coming for you!" The bulky guy stated angrily.

Immediately after saying that, he looked at the three people in front of him and said, "I hope that what you have told me is actually true. If you are lying to me, then, I’m going to make sure that I punish all of you."

When the three heard that, they felt their bodies trembling. If it was before the apocalypse, this guy would have already scared a lot of people just from the bulky muscles that he possessed.

And now in the apocalypse, this guy possessed a lot of strength, and even the aura that was coming from his body was enough to shake them to the core. Anyway, this group of three had not even become mutant warriors as of yet.

Although they were scared that even their faces paled, but, they did not change what they had just said. Anyway, it did not matter. After all, what they had just said was the truth.

This group of three was actually denied entry into the stronghold that Henry had built. For that reason, they definitely resented Henry and his group because, they were forced to be out there, trying to provide for themselves.

They were a family, with the young man being the younger brother of the middle aged man. They were amongst the group of people that have gathered outside the domain star territory. But, no matter how relentless they tried to pursue the people inside the barrier to allow them in, they were not allowed.

For that reason, the resentment that they possessed towards the territory that was created by Henry had increased by multiple folds. They had decided to leave the territory area a day ago after they felt the hunger that was eating them.

It was good that there were no more zombies present inside Crystal City. For that reason, they were temporarily safe from apocalyptic creatures. But, that did not imply that they were actually safe from other humans.

During the time that they were wondering around, looking for food, they had encountered several groups of people that were robbing. It was good that they had been passing away in the distance that they managed to escape.

When they came to this part of the city, the hunger that they felt had increased. They had found out that all the food stores had already been cleared out in the city. The fridges and shops in food markets were completely empty.

Since they had been walking for a long distance, it was obvious that they had spent a lot of energy. But, since they had not gotten water, and neither had they gotten food, they felt like they were going to collapse.

As for driving a car, that was completely out of the question. After all, currently, the conditions of the road did not support the cars to be driven around. They would have to abandon a car after every few hundred meters due to the destroyed roads, or the large number of vehicles that were blocking their way.

Other than that, since they did not want to attract the attention of the groups that were robbing others, they had to go on foot.

Just as they were about to give up, a car drove over and picked them up. Previously, they had thought that it was yet another group of gangsters. However, they were surprised by the way that the people inside the vehicle treated them. Moreover, inside that van, there was actually yet another group of people, who were just as rugged as they were.

After being given an explanation, it turned out that this group of people had actually been sent over to rescue as many people as they could. This was just to ensure that the human race did not collapse.

After they were brought over to the area where they had set the base, they were informed that the leader of this base was actually a soldier before he left the military. As for the reason why he did that, nobody knew.

After they were provided with food, the group finally thought of the territory where they were not allowed in. And since the leader of this base was actually so much focused on saving the human race, they thought that perhaps they might be capable of making him make a move against that territory.

And that was what had transpired until now. They had decided to exaggerate things. Of course, they knew that the reason why the people inside that territory were making the children to kill the monsters was simply because they wanted them to choose their own professions.

But why would they care? It was not as if they themselves did not want to do that. It was just that, there are no monsters for them to kill. So, what could they do when they were considered useless by that territory?

Anyway, it did not matter what the intention of the people from that territory were. After all, what they had just said was a mixture of both the truth and lies. There were several parents that wanted to be together with their children, but they were denied entry into the territory.

There were some of them that even went ahead and begged on their knees, but still, they were not allowed to take their children away. Although they could meet with their children, there was a barrier that was separating them. So, it was completely different from being able to touch and feel their children.

"Okay! We will be going there the first thing in the morning tomorrow. You three will be coming with me to show me where that territory is." The bulky guy stated. And after that, he left the room that was illuminated by several candles.

The night had passed peacefully. There were no more attacks that were launched on the territory during the remaining part of the night.

Henry was of course happy about that because, if there were no more attacks, then, the people that had been involved in the fighting were going to have some time to relax.

As for the people that had died during the battle the previous night, they had already been buried. Unlike the other humans who were left in the streets, Henry was someone that treated the people that were under him well. So, even after their death, he made sure that they were treated well.

Amongst the people that had died, one of them was from Arthur’s group. Although it might be true that the relationship that Jasmine possessed with that person was not as deep as the one that she possessed with Arthur, but still, she really cared about this group of men.

When the apocalypse began, they were the ones who were putting their lives in danger in order to protect her family. And had it not been for her mother turning into a zombie, then, her entire family would have been secure by now.

Henry was just about to begin another plan, which was to try and expand the territory when suddenly, there was a huge commotion that occurred from outside the territory.

At the same time as this happened, a warning alarm rang through the entire territory.

Currently, Henry was already outside of the territory building. He was looking at the area where he was going to upgrade the buildings by using the system.

He wanted to upgrade the buildings to make sure that in case they were going to recruit another group of people, then, they would be residing inside the buildings, other than the territory building.

He had already been taught a lesson by Nelson, who allowed the necromancer to escape. From the moment that he would have completed upgrading the buildings that were inside the territory protection barrier, he was going to make sure that he transferred everyone other than those that were qualified and had contributed enough, to be able to stay inside of the territory building.

"Who is the leader of this territory?! You trader of the human race! Come out and face your death right now!" A loud and rageful voice resounded in the air.

Henry who was not that far away could not help but feel his lips twitching a little. He wondered to himself where this idiot came from.

If this person actually came over because he wanted to rob them, and was prevented from entering the territory by the territory protection barrier, then, he should just look for another reason, rather than giving them the title of the traitors of the human race.

After all until now, Henry and his group could be considered as the saviors of the entire Crystal City. Although it was true that there were other bases that were present within Crystal City, and they had actually saved a lot of people, had Henry not dealt with that clone, then, that clone alone was enough to wipe out the entire Crystal City.

And of course, other than that, there was also another horde of monsters that had come over. Although they targeted Henry’s territory specifically, what was the guarantee that if Henry’s territory did not exist, they would not charge into the city, and attack the other human bases?

With a simple shake of his head, Henry decided to go and take care of the matter. Since he was the leader of the territory, and the other part had called out for him, he was going to deal with him. Additionally, he was looking to see if there was actually any other item that had dropped, that was going to be important to the territory.

Until now, Henry could still remember that after they had killed Lucas, there was the skill that he possessed that had dropped, the duplication skill.
