Chapter 164: I’m Coming for You

"But still, I will be giving the skill scrolls to those that are going to get them. They will be using them after they reach the silver rank." Henry continued.

Immediately after that, Henry distributed the tyrannical strength skill scroll to Adam. Then, he gave Shadow mirage skill Scroll to Diana, and finally, Olivia was given the restoration pendant.

Henry had decided to distribute the three items to the three people because they were the ones that were involved in the killing of the bear and the scorpion.

Of course, Sarah and Jasmine did not complain. After all, they did not participate in the killing of those monsters. Moreover, they themselves were sure that they were definitely not capable of dealing with level 4 bronze rank monsters.

After everything was done, Henry finally decided to leave. There was something that he needed to do. One of them being to distribute the mighty aura skill scroll to Storm.

Olivia and the rest of the group looked at Henry as he left. They could not help but feel a little excited. After all, they knew that in this apocalypse, everyone was selfish.

Of course, Henry could have kept everything to himself, but still, he had given them something that was going to boost their strength further. This immediately made Olivia, Sarah and Jasmine to decide that they were not going to give up on the territory.

Actually, the territory itself did not matter. Instead, it was the leader of the territory who mattered the most. Although it might be true that Henry had just returned to them what they had gotten after killing the scorpion and the bear, they still knew about the fact that Henry was the one who had killed the scorpion.

Additionally, by Henry making his move, he had already saved their lives from the scorpion that was just about to explode its body. Although they did not know the magnitude of the explosion, but still, even if they did not die, they were definitely going to suffer grievous injuries.

After Henry delivered the mighty aura skill scroll to Storm, he went back to his room. The moment that he arrived there, he found that Adam was waiting for him.

"What is it?" Henry asked casually as he sat on the chair that was next to the bed.

"What happened to you? Why did you pass out?" Adam asked. He found that it was kind of strange that Henry had just passed out, and he had actually been out for two consecutive days.

Additionally, it was also during the time that he was unconscious that the necromancer made his move. As of now, Adam of course knew that Henry had already killed the necromancer. But still, he could not understand how it happened.

"Actually, I utilized a skill that I had gotten from the dungeon. The creature that I was facing against was so strong that I was not capable of fighting against it had I not utilized that skill.

But in the end, it turned out that the skill that I had utilized was of a high level. So, my body could not handle the pressure that I was experiencing, so it shut down temporarily." Henry responded.

Adam was a little relieved after hearing that. It turned out that it was just pressure that was being placed on his body by the skill that he had utilized. As for what skill it was, or what level it was, Adam did not ask since Henry did not seem like a person who was going to talk about it.

"What about the necromancer?" Adam asked after a moment of silence.

"Him? He managed to stab me in the chest. It was a good thing that although he managed to pierce through my right lung, it was nothing major because I used the healing potions." Henry responded as he took off the armor that was on his body.

After that, he revealed the place where he had been stabbed by the necromancer. Although he had utilized the healing potion, still, they wound had not fully recovered. It was going to take at least a day or two for him to be able to go back to the way he was before.

Adam frowned a little. He felt his muscles tense a little. He felt a little scared at the thought that Henry would have died. After all, the two of them had been growing up together, and the bond that they shared was no different from that of blood brothers.

"It is a good thing that that idiot decided to attack you on your right chest, rather than your left." Adam stated with a sigh. But still, although he seemed to be calm, there was rage that was burning inside his heart.

He had already decided that the moment that he was going to meet with Nelson, that was the time that he was going to make sure that that guy died a horrible death. How could he allow a person who had targeted his brother to go around walking so freely? That guy had to pay for this.

"Maybe that necromancer wanted to torture me a little. After all, we eliminated the entire dark race, even what was supposed to be their trump card during the beginning stage of the apocalypse was also destroyed by me. So, it is kind of understandable." Henry responded nonchalantly as he went ahead and put back the armor.

In the apocalypse, they have to be ready for anything. So, he had to be ready, his armor on, ready to respond to any emergencies. They had just fought with a large group of monsters not long ago, so, they had to make sure that everything was okay before they could finally relax a little.

Henry and Adam chatted a little more, before they finally decided to relax. Adam went back to his room to sleep a little, after all, he had expended a lot of energy during the fight with the monsters.

....

At this moment, in the south western part of the city, there was yet another place that had been secured for people to stay. But, the population here was not that high, consisting of about 3,000 or so people.

Although the population was nothing compared to the previous population of the entire Crystal City, but in this apocalypse where almost 90% of the human population was turned into zombies, this number could be considered considerable.

The leader of this base that had been set in this place was a man with bulky muscles. He had a bald head, and a thick beard that covered his chin.

Currently, he was wearing a blue short sleeved T-shirt that revealed his bulging muscles. The veins that coursed through his hands could be seen from a distance. In his hand, he was holding a giant sword, something that he had gotten after killing a monster during the beginning of the apocalypse.

He was a warrior that mainly focused on the great sword. And currently, his expression was not looking good at all. He seemed to be so furious that he was actually breathing heavily, air being pushed out of his nose like a furious bull.

"Can you repeat what you just said now?" The man asked once again. In front of him, there was a group of three people, a young man, a middle-aged man, and a middle-aged woman.

Both of them had terrified expressions as they looked at the man in front of them. They were obviously scared by the aura that the man was emitting from his body.

As if he had realized that there was something wrong, he immediately restrained his bronze rank aura. It was only then that the group in front of him was able to relax a little.

"I’m sorry about that. It is just that my emotions got out of control a little. But still, can you repeat what you just said so that I can make sure that it is true?" The bulky guy stated, a little embarrassed.

"What we said was the truth. There is actually a group that has managed to create a territory of their own. Moreover, I think they got an artifact from somewhere that they are using to protect the place where they are living. I don’t know how that big building managed to survive in this apocalypse, but, they have decided to make that place their own base." The young man was fast to respond.

"I really don’t care about that. I want you to repeat the other part." The bulky guy waved his hand in displeasure, clearly not interested if the other party was possessing an artifact that was able to defend the territory.

Before the young man could respond, the middle-aged woman spoke up. "What we were saying previously was that, that territory is so inhumane. They went ahead and took the children, even denying most of the parents the option of being together with their children."

"They locked the children away, forcing them to face a group of monsters that are made from bones. The children were so terrified that they started crying, but, these people did not allow them to retreat. This is going to cause the children nightmares." The middle aged woman stated.

The expression that was on her face was so exaggerated that even one might doubt that what she was saying was the truth, rather than what she was just making up.

The bulky guy on the other hand got even more furious. "That’s enough! I don’t believe that there is actually a scum over human that is still present, abusing other humans despite the fact that currently, the human race is in danger! Just you wait, I’m coming for you!" The bulky guy stated angrily.
