Chapter 156: Supreme Slayer

[Supreme Slayer: when the title holder fights against an opponent that is at a high level than him, then, his combat stats would increase by 10% per level.]

After Henry read the information, he was a little surprised. This Supreme Slayer title was amazing. It was going to increase his stats generally, rather than just focusing on either agility or strength.

And, it was an increase of 10% in his stats per level. This was amazing. That implied that, if he faced off against an opponent that was currently 10 levels above him, then, his starts would be increased by 100%.

The most amazing part was that, there was no limit about the time, cool down or so on. As long as the opponent that he was facing was a level above him, then, his strength was bound to increase.

After confirming everything, Henry put on the armor that was present inside the room. After that, he took the sword that was also placed on the bedside table.

Henry finally decided to leave and go and look at the situation outside. He knew that currently, they had to take care of the monsters that were attacking the territory. Additionally, this was just yet another chance that they could utilize to level up.

And to make sure that this was maximized, then, those people that were at a higher level were supposed to be there to prevent those higher level monsters from killing low level humans.

After he exited the territory building, he looked towards Storm who was currently still being disturbed by a group of children. Anyway, since there was no any danger that had been detected as of yet, Henry decided to leave. Anyway, there was nobody that was going to take care of the children during such a period.

After getting out of the territory, he was immediately attacked by a group of monsters. For this group of monsters, Henry just needed a single move to clear them. Currently, he had already reached the sixth level of the Bronze rank. So, it was not a difficult task for him to deal with creatures that were a rank lower than him.

He moved forward completely unhindered. Additionally, he realized that, the number of strong monsters that were present in this particular area were quite high. Although the majority of them were still at the 8th or 9th level of rank O, but it was still a difficult huddle for those that had not yet reached the bronze rank.

Taking the walkie talkie, Henry immediately contacted Adam. But, Adam did not respond. This surprised him a little. However, just as he was about to contact Olivia, he heard a huge commotion not far from where he was.

He began approaching the area. And the moment that he arrived there, he found that there was a scorpion whose carapace was completely black, and currently, it was enveloped in a red aura, standing there without moving.

During this moment, he also noticed that Adam was actually being carried by Olivia. And the two girls, Olivia and Diana, what were looking at the scorpion with cautiousness clear their eyes.

It was also during this moment that Henry finally spoke. Olivia then noticed him. At the same time, he focused on the scorpion in front of him, finally seeing the statistics of the creature.

"Retreat into the distance. Make sure that nobody approaches this monster. It is about to explode itself." Henry stated, completely dumbfounding Olivia and Diana. The two of them had not expected that the reason why the scorpion was standing there without moving was because it wanted to explode itself.

Although the two of them hesitated for a moment, they still decided to obey Henry’s words. They both had retreated, but they made sure that they did not keep a large distance, making sure that they were able to rush forward in case there was a need for them to.

When Henry arrived in front of the scorpion, he raised the sword and slashed down. At the same time as he was slashing down, he activated mountain splinter skill, as well as power surge.

Perhaps because he was two levels above the scorpion, or perhaps due to the fact that he had gotten stronger and activated the skill, the sword cut the head of the scorpion easily.

So, they can retreat into the territory in order to recover their energy, rather than going all out and risking their lives."

Since currently, Henry had already reached the sixth level of the warlock profession, the defense of the territory barrier had also been risen to the sixth level. That implied that, the barrier was currently capable of holding off monsters at the sixth level of the Bronze rank.

So, it was not a difficult task for the barrier to hold on against attacks from rank O monsters. Anyway, even if they were given several years to attack, there was no way that they were going to be able to damage the barrier.

Although it might be true that the number of monsters was currently high, the majority of them had not yet reached the Bronze rank. For that reason, Henry knew that in order to chase away this group of monsters, he just had to deal with the leader. And after that, everything was going to be easily solved.

"Okay." Olivia responded. She could easily see through Henry’s logic. So, she took out the walkie-talkie and began communicating with Sarah and Jasmine who were not here. She informed them to inform the people on their side to retreat into the barrier in case the energy that they were having was about to be depleted.

Of course, until now, Henry had not given the walkie talkies to other people other than the six that had gone to the dungeon. So, both Sarah and Jasmine were tasked with going around an informing those that were fighting against the monsters.

As for Henry himself, he began approaching the feline creature. Olivia wanted to follow, the same with Diana. But, Henry prevented them. Currently, he was two levels above them. Moreover, he possessed the most incredible combat power amongst them. So, if he was not capable of dealing with the monster, then, they would be risking their lives by going over.
