Chapter 147: The Leaders Making a Move

Olivia was already clearing the monsters that were in front of her. It did not matter if they were at the bronze rank or Rank O, all of them died from the attacks that she was launching using her ice.

From a distance, she could see that a distance away from where she was, there was a majestic and tall figure. At this moment, Olivia immediately realized that, this figure that she was seeing was definitely the one that was controlling the monsters.

What made Olivia frown was the fact that, the figure that she was seeing definitely didn’t represent the bear that was leading the monsters during the trip into the dungeon.

Instead, this figure looked like that of a feline creature. And beside this creature, there were two other figures. And amongst them, there was the bear.

Although she couldn’t see things clearly, she could tell that this had to be the bear that they had encountered before. And from the way that it was standing, although it was just as majestic as it was before, it was a little subservient.

From this, Olivia could infer that it was not the one that was holding the superior position amongst the three. Instead, it was a level lower.

If the bear was at the third level of the bronze rank, then, just at what level would the other feline monster be at? And, unlike the necromancers that were having weak personal combat power, it was different for the monsters.

They were innately stronger than humans when it came to physical strength. Although it was true that it was not a must for them to face off against the monsters in a close combat, the defense of the monsters was also high.

At this time, as she was looking at them, Olivia felt that the three monsters were looking back at her. She felt that the monster at the center was emitting a strong sense of pressure and killing intent than the others. But, that was to be expected, it was the leader after all.

Olivia didn’t hesitate to dismember the rhino that was charging at her at this moment. Then, she began moving towards the three leaders. She knew that currently, if they wanted to deal with this group of monsters, then, they had to deal with the leaders first.

She knew that if this was not done, the flood of monsters that kept on coming from behind the three would not stop. They were like a group of ants when it came to the numbers. Only by dealing with the leader would they stop coming over.

She had just taken three steps when a voice reached her from the walkie-talkie. "Attention all of you! The necromancer is making a move!" Sarah immediately reported in the walkie-talkie.

Olivia immediately frowned. She had not expected that the necromancer was actually going to make moves at this moment. Additionally, Storm was capable of dealing with the necromancer as he was at the third level of the bronze rank.

Even she herself believed that it was going to be a difficult task for her to deal with Storm. So, how was it possible that the necromancer was capable of escaping? Or could it be that the necromancer was just fighting against Storm, to try and make an escape at this time?

Olivia was still trying to contemplate what was happening, her sword still moving around to kill the monsters, when she suddenly noticed that there was actually a movement from the three monsters behind the attack.

Diana was causing havoc within the monsters. Every now and again, a rain of arrows would rain from the sky, each and every hour containing immense power. For that reason, the moment that they collided with the monsters, they exploded, killing a large number of the monsters using the wind element that shredded them into pieces.

Just like Olivia, she had also noticed that there was a group of monsters that was standing behind. It was just that, she was in the opposite direction that Olivia was in. But, even in this direction, she had realized that there was actually a group of monsters that had reached the bronze rank.

Of course, Olivia had already informed her about the presence of Braun Strong monsters in this monster tide. It was just that, she could not believe just how many monsters had already reached to the Bronze rank. After all, it was not long ago that they were going to the dungeon, but the number of monsters that had reached the Bronze rank were just a few.

Diana herself had decided not to focus on the Rank O monsters. Those were going to be used by the others that had not reached the Bronze rank to level up. As for herself, she had decided that she was going to deal with those that had reached the bronze rank.

This was going to prevent them from ever attacking those that had not yet reached the Bronze rank, leading to casualties.

Diana was just about to shoot an arrow when suddenly, she felt immense danger to her life. And at that moment, she suddenly realized something.

"Master is in danger! Who is it? There’s no doubt that this has to be the work of that necromancer." Diana muttered loudly. In the next moment, she turned around, wanting to go back into the territory to see who it was that was attacking Henry.

"Attention all of you! The necromancer is making a move!" Sarah immediately reported in the walkie-talkie.

When she heard this, Diana became agitated. After all, since Henry was unconscious, that implied that, if the Necromancer managed to reach where he was, then, he would be able to easily kill Henry.

’I am okay. You can just continue with what you are doing. This is nothing to me.’ At this moment, she suddenly heard Henry’s voice reach her.

To say the truth, although it had only been 2 days, she had already missed this voice. So, when she heard that voice, she was excited. After all, the condition that Henry was in was not something that they could understand. Although she could tell that he was not in a life and death situation, but, him not waking up was not helping at all.

’Master! You are awake!’ Diana exclaimed in her mind. She was using the telepathic connection that she shared with Henry to communicate with him.

’Yes. Thank you for worrying about me.’ Henry replied.

’There’s no need to thank me at all. I have not done anything. Moreover, you are my master, I have to be worried about your safety.’ Diana hurriedly replied.

Of course, there was yet another reason that she did not say. That was the fact that, Henry’s life was what determined Diana’s other than the other external factors. Even if she was healthy and strong, as long as Henry passed away, then, she too was going to die. That was just how the summoned creatures were.

Due to the excitement that she was having, she did not noticed as a monster approached her. This was a monster that had reached the second level of the Bronze rank.

It was a gigantic buffalo that had reached the height of 3 m. Before Diana could even react, the buffalo rammed into her.

"Gah!"

Being caught by surprise, Diana was launched into the air, as she landed into the distance. She felt a little pain in her body, despite the fact that the armor that she was wearing had managed to protect her.

When she got to her feet, she realized that the buffalo was actually charging towards her again. This infuriated her. After all, not only had this buffalo sneaked and attacked on her, but, it was distracting her during the time that she was dealing with something important.

Henry was someone that had his life linked with hers. So, if he died, then she was going to die as well. Now, she had to be excited that Henry was okay. So, why was the Buffalo not giving her the chance to be happy a little?

It was a good thing that she never let go of her bow. So, she raised it in the air, and pulled the strings. In the next moment, a collapsing arrow was formed before it charged towards the buffalo that was rushing towards her.

When the buffalo realized that it was being attacked, it react hurriedly. It was a monster and its instincts were not to be underestimated. So, it had already realized that there was danger in the error that was coming towards it.

It tried to dodge, but, it was not capable of dealing with the speed at which the arrow was traveling towards it. Additionally, since it was moving at a high speed, it was not easy to change its own trajectory.

Still, the buffalo managed to turn its head to the side. And, the arrow landed directly on the neck of the buffalo. The moment that it did, the flesh of the buffalo began being compressed together. In fact, it was being pulled towards the collapsing arrow.

The buffalo was not given a chance to scream before it was compressed into a meat paste.

’Master, is everything okay? I’ll be coming over right now.’ Diana stated through the telepathic link that she shared with Henry immediately after she had launched the arrow.

’There’s no need for that. I’ll be out in a while after I deal with this.’ Henry replied.

Diana was finally relieved after hearing that Henry was okay. With that finally out of the way, she looked towards the group of monsters that had reached the Bronze rank. Then without hesitation, she pulled the strings of the bow that she was holding, aiming towards them. She was not willing to continue wasting time with them again. After all, her master had just awakened, and, it was better if they could clear this group of monsters as soon as possible.
