The Soul System in the Apocalypse
Chapter 141: Experience Points Slave

Chapter 141: Experience Points Slave

Olivia looked at the Necromancer that was on the ground and asked, "Is he alive?"

"Yes. I thought about the task that master decided that we are supposed to complete. The children are supposed to kill apocalyptic creatures so that they can get energy in their body that will prevent this red mist from invading their bodies.

Since there are no longer zombies present in the city, then, there is nothing that we can do about it. But, with this necromancer, we will be able to get creatures that he can control so that they can be easily killed by the kids." Diana explained.

Olivia was also surprised by this reasoning by Diana. This was something that she had not thought about. Anyway, she too had already realized that the red mist that was in the air was actually penetrating the bodies of all those that did not have any kind of energy in their body.

Additionally, due to the effort of the necromancers, they had eliminated all the zombies present in the city. For that reason, it was difficult for them to find a target other than the monsters and humans.

But of course, there was no way that Olivia was going to send the children to go and kill other humans, no matter how evil they were. But, it was a different matter when it came to other apocalyptic creatures.

And with this idea from Diana, all that they had to do was to wake up the necromancer, before instructing him on what to do.

Olivia did not say anything else. Instead, she kicked the Necromancer that was on the ground fiercely. But, she managed to control her strength to ensure that she did not kill the necromancer. At the end of the day, despite the fact that the necromancers were strong, they were just like summoners.

"Aargh!"

The necromancer groaned painfully after the kick had landed on his body. That kick had managed to fracture a few of his bones.

The Necromancer opened his eyes. The pain that he was feeling from the wounds that he had suffered from the attacks from Diana was still present as he remembered. But, he could not understand why he had been kicked.

Had he not been killed already? The necromancer asked himself as he looked around. It was then that he realized that, he was still alive. Additionally, looking around, he realized that both Olivia and Diana were staring at him.

The glares that he was receiving sent shiver down his spine. He was just about to begin mobilizing the energy in his body to attack, when suddenly, another kick landed on his chest.

"You better not try doing something stupid. After all, you know that in your current state, you are not able to force any of us to go all out." Olivia stated as she looked at the necromancer.

The necromancer landed heavily after being blown backwards by the kick that he had received from Olivia. The pain that he was feeling in his body suddenly intensified.

Despite the fact that he wanted to scream, he knew that he could not show his weakness in front of these ladies. Otherwise, they might take advantage of him.

As for the reason why they had not killed him, he could not understand. But still, he knew that if humans kept him alive, they were not going to have any good reason for that. Of course, they were not going to be like that stupid clone that wanted her to recruit Henry.

Of course, despite the fact that maybe the necromancer was fearful of the clone, and he did not dare to say anything in front of him, it was different when thinking about it. After all, all of this was to be blamed on that clone.

After all, had that clone not given Henry the time to complete the fusion with Diana, he would not have been capable of defeating him. But, due to the pride that he was possessing, he allowed the opponent to pull out his strongest trump card, and ended up defeating him.

"What do you want from me?" The necromancer asked as he looked at Olivia and Diana fearfully.

Right now, the energy in his body had not been recovered yet. Additionally, he had overused the skill that enabled him to turn into a cloud of smoke, during the time that he was escaping. For that reason, he was suffering from the consequences of overdraft.

So, the energy in his body was not able to regenerate at a fast speed. Otherwise, until the time that he was brought here, his energy would have already recovered.

"It is simple. We are going to maintain your life. But, you will have to control a few of your lackeys to come over so that they can be killed by the children and used as an experience points." Olivia stated.

"You are trying to tell me to work for you? I better die rather than doing that. There is no way that I am going to agree to become a slave of a weak race like the human race!" The necromancer retorted angrily.

Despite the fact that he had expected that this group had not kept him alive for a good reason, he had not expected that they were planning to use him like this. After all, to control the undead, he had to spend a lot of energy.

And, after he had managed to gain the control over several undead, he had to allow them to be killed? Where was the logic in that? There was no way that he was going to agree to something like that.

"Is that so?" Olivia asked with a cold expression on her face. At the same time, a chilling air suddenly begun enveloping the area.

The necromancer felt that a chilling energy was entering his body through the wounds that he had suffered. It was freezing his blood, despite the fact that he was not being attacked directly. This was just partial energy that was released from Olivia.

Despite feeling that he was going to be frozen into an ice sculpture, the necromancer still did not agree. Anyway, he did not believe that the life of a slave was going to be good.

Additionally, although he had been escaping previously, that did not mean that he was going to be spared during the time that the second wave of the dark race descended.

He had been planning to look for another place that he could use as a base for the dark race. In this way, he might perhaps be able to make up for the failure of capturing a city as a base for the dark race.

But now that he had been captured, there was no need to talk about the fact that this group was not going to let him go. So, he could only forget about his target. Now, to him, it was better if he died, rather than working as a slave for the human race.

It was obvious that the dark race viewed the human race as an inferior race to them. So, how could he submit to them? How could a human allow a dog to become his master? That was an impossibility, unless someone was having some problem with their mind.

The temperature in the surrounding area continuously reduced. At this moment, Olivia had already began trying out ice manipulation. Although she could not use it in attacking, currently, Olivia was able to control the energy in her body into her surroundings.

Although it could not currently be used as an attack, but, that was not the effect that Olivia was looking for. Instead, the cold temperatures was what she was expecting. After all, the wounds of the necromancer were open. So, the energy was able to easily penetrate into the circulatory system of the necromancer.

The necromancer began shivering. And every moment that he tried mobilizing the energy in his body to eliminate the cold energy that was in his body, he was kicked by Olivia.

"Now, you don’t have a choice. It is either you agree to this, or I will make sure that I torture you until you agree. So, what is your decision? You better not try thinking that you are going to be allowed to kill yourself." Olivia stated as she stared at the necromancer fiercely.

The necromancer realized whatever Olivia was saying was something that she was planning to do. After all, the cold energy that was eating his body, added to the kicks that he was receiving from Olivia, he was undergoing a lot of pain.

It was then that he suddenly thought of something. Perhaps this was not a bad idea. He might be able to continue staying here, feigning that he was going to work for the humans.

But, if a chance presented itself to him in the future, he might be able to use it and take down the entire territory in a single swoop. After all, he had realized that, this territory was the one that was owned by those abnormally strong humans.

By taking down this stronghold, he would be able to pave the way for the dark race the time that they would be descending. So, after a moment of contemplation, with humiliation on his face, the necromancer finally agreed.

"I will do it. But, you will have to make sure that..." The necromancer was just about to state his conditions when he was kicked away again by Olivia.

And as she finally retrieved the cold energy that was leaking out of her body, she looked at the Necromancer and said, "You don’t have the right to negotiate. You do what you are supposed to do. Otherwise, if you don’t, I’m going to make sure that I torture you until you wish that you were dead. And let me remind you, you better not try playing any tricks. Because if you do, you will regret it your whole life."
