Chapter 140: Annihilated

When this happened, it completely stunned everyone. Nobody had been expecting something like this to happen. The group of muscular guys both turned around and looked at the direction that the arrow had emerged from.

They were surprised by what they saw. They saw that there was a lady with her raven hair that was approaching them. She had a cold expression on her face, and below her, there was a bloodied figure in a black robe that was lying there. As for whether the figure was alive or not, they did not know.

The muscles of everyone tensed a little. At this moment, they could not help but subconsciously retreat. After all, the vibe that was being given by the lady that had appeared in front of them was too terrifying.

Additionally, their leader had just been killed. He was the only person that was in the Bronze rank. And now, he had been killed without even being given a chance of reacting.

Although it was true that it was a sneak attack, but, they had already tried several times attacking their leader during the time that they were testing out their combat strength, but they never succeeded. No matter how hard they tried to sneak an attack on him, he would always be able to react on time.

Diana had finally arrived. During the time that she was outside, she had continuously hunted for the necromancer. The necromancer himself had already decided that he was going to depart from Crystal City.

Despite the fact that this was the destination that had been decided on by the Apocalypse for them to descend, it was no longer suitable for him to be here. After all, there were a lot of power houses from the human race that could easily obliterate his race.

But, as he was leaving the city, he was surprised that he was being followed by someone. Of course, when he realized that it was Diana, he did not dare to continue staying around.

He had already experienced the power that Diana possessed. And this time, he felt too that she had become way stronger than before. So, it was going to be better If he did not entangle with her.

So, using the best skill that he had, he turned into a black smoke and rushed away. In this form, he was able to move at incredible speeds.

But he was surprised to that Diana was able to keep up. So, no matter how fast he ran, Diana was always on his tail.

Since Diana had only appeared when he was in the outskirts of the city, he had managed to get out of Crystal City. But even then, Diana did not stop chasing after him.

After realizing that there was no way that he was going to shake off Diana from following him, he decided that he was going to fight with her. At the end of the day, even if he decided to exhaust all the energy in his body to run away, he was not able to get away from her.

So, rather than continuously wasting the energy, it was better if he could use the energy to fight against Diana, despite knowing that the chances of him winning were almost zero. In this way, he might perhaps have a chance of escaping.

And as a fight ensued, Diana was able to dominate the necromancer. None of the attacks of the Necromancer was able to land considering that he did not have any long range attack.

With the attacks that were coming from Diana from a distance, the Necromancer was forced to defend himself. Otherwise, if he did not defend himself, he was going to be pierced by the arrows.

This time, he had utilized a lot of energy in order to form the barrier around him. So, despite the fact that the arrows were strong, they were not able to go through the barrier with a single shot.

For that reason, the Necromancer was able to hold on for about 10 minutes. But, after 10 minutes, due to the intense attacks that were landing on the barrier, the energy in the body of the Necromancer was finally depleted. And, it was during this time that finally, Diana was able to get him.

At that time, the necromancer was frustrated. He tried negotiating with Diana so that she could let him go, and the dark race would not target Crystal City anymore. But, Diana was not willing to listen to him.

Currently, Henry had already been injured due to the actions of the necromancer. So, Diana was not willing to let someone that was dangerous, a person that was capable of summoning a strong figure like the clone that they had fought against to exist.

In any case, despite the fact that she was not a human but an elf, she was a summoned creature of a human. For that reason, in the fight for domination, she was going to be fighting for the human race.

After a few attacks, Diana was finally able to injure the Necromancer. Without the barrier around him, the Necromancer was not able to defend himself against the attacks.

After Diana had completely dominated the necromancer, she wanted to kill him but she changed her mind. Instead, she knocked out the Necromancer and carried him with her.

And when she arrived at the territory, she found that there was a group of people that was trying to threaten the people inside the territory. Since this was Henry’s territory, there was no way that she was going to allow just anybody to come over and spout nonsense.

Since that guy was the one that was having the loudest mouth and seemed to be the leader, she did not hesitate to take out her bow and attack. And of course, with her current third level of the Bronze rank, the level that she had reached after she woke up, the other party was not able to react.

And now, looking at the crowd in front of her, she did not want to continue talking to them. Although she did not understand the reason why Olivia and the rest did not react, she did not care.

Since this group had come over to cause trouble, and according to Henry, if there was anybody that provoked her, then, she was free to do as she pleased. And now, she wanted to destroy all of them.

Despite the fact that this group was strong, just looking at them, Diana was able to tell that this group was not going to be obedient. Since that was the case, then, there was no need to keep them.

Aiming at the group, Diana pulled the strings of the bow. An arrow materialized, before she released it. And in the air, it divided into several arrows that went to their target, not missing any of them.

The group had already been so frightened by the appearance of the lady. And when they saw that she was going to attack them, they did not hesitate to try and run.

Currently, they knew that since the other party had just arrived and killed their leader, that implied that she was not going to listen to them.

But although they were fast, however, how could they compete with the speed of an arrow that was shot by a level 3 bronze rank Archer when they themselves had not even reached the Bronze rank?

Before they could even take a few steps, the arrows that were moving at a fast speed arrived before them, pierced each and every one of them. The momentum of the arrow was able to blast them backwards.

At the same time, some of them that had been hit on the head died on the spot as their heads exploded. As for those that had been hit on the torso, they had several of their bones broken.

Immediately after that, they collapsed onto the ground, passing out from the intense pain and fear. From the intense bleeding, it was obvious that they did not have long to live.

The crowd of people that was congregating outside the territory observed all of this with terror in their eyes. The majority of them did not know who Diana was because she did not meet with them.

But still, they could tell that she was a cold blooded killer. After all, she had just killed a group of people without even blinking.

Of course, Diana could tell the difference. Despite the fact that this group was standing outside the territory, they were not causing a commotion. Additionally, they did not have the murderous aura that was surrounding the group that she had just killed.

After glancing at them, making them shiver and take a few steps backwards in fear, she ignored them and dragged the necromancer that was unconscious on the ground, and finally entered the invisible barrier.

Silence dominated the area as the group watched as Diana went ahead and appeared in front of Olivia.

Olivia was of course relieved after she realized that Diana had returned. So, at least she could go back and rest, while waiting for Henry to wake up.

For now, it could be said that Crystal City was safe from invasion. Of course, that was if the monster race decided not to attack. As for the humans that were present within Crystal city, that was a matter that she did not care much about.

After all, if even the first person to reach the Bronze rank had been killed, then, she did not believe that the others were strong. Moreover, it was not as if the people that were present in the territory were weak.

Olivia looked at the Necromancer that was on the ground and asked, "Is he alive?"
