Chapter 135: Strange Condition

The scythe that was in the necromancer’s hand dropped as it pierced towards Henry’s chest. The necromancer had decided that he was going to deal with Henry by destroying his heart. In this way, there would not be much chance that he was going to survive even after he got out of here.

Puff!

The scythe landed on the target. But, the expression of the necromancer shifted as he realized that Henry had not been injured by the attack. Instead, the armor had blocked the scythe from penetrating Henry’s chest.

As for the blood that had splashed out, it seemed that this came from the impact of the attack on the armor. This made Henry spew blood from his mouth.

"It seems that I have become an idiot a little. Instead of chopping off the head, I tried hitting the armor that I know I cannot manage to deal with." The necromancer shook his head.

As if remembering what the clone had experienced, the necromancer hurriedly raised the scythe once again and aimed at Henry’s throat. He wanted to decapitate Henry’s head from his body. In this way, he would be sure that Henry had died.

The scythe moved at an incredible speed as it descended towards Henry’s neck. The necromancer had decided to use all of his strength in this attack just in case something went wrong.

Flash!

Before the scythe could land on the target, there was a bright golden light that suddenly surged out of Henry’s body. It shot towards the necromancer.

Bang!

Within the golden light, there was a figure that materialized and knocked the necromancer, deviating the trajectory of the attack. Consequently, even though the attack missed the neck, it managed to land on Henry’s neck. This made Henry spew out another mouthful of blood.

The necromancer’s eyes squinted as he looked at the figure that had appeared with an irritated expression on his face. This was the second time that his attack had failed to kill Henry.

But, the displeasure was just for a moment. In the next moment after the necromancer realized who it was that had appeared, horror appeared in his eyes. He had never expected that Diana was going to appear at this moment.

Without hesitation, the necromancer turned around to escape. He had already experienced the terror of Diana. He knew that if he faced her head on, then, there was no doubt that he was going to be killed.

However, he had just taken two steps when he suddenly noticed that Diana’s figure had collapsed. This stunned him. But, after a moment of thinking through this, he realized something.

"You two had merged together. So, all of you are going to suffer the same repercussions. Anyway, I can deal with the both of you at the same time." The necromancer stated in realization.

He then moved towards Henry to deal with him first. He knew that by dealing with a summoner, their summoned creatures would die with them. That was why he didn’t waste much time to think about killing Diana.

No sooner had the necromancer raised the scythe, that he suddenly felt that there was danger that was approaching him. Never doubting his instincts, he immediately abandoned the plan that he was having in mind to kill Henry, and instead, formed a barrier around himself.

Bang!

To the necromancer’s horror, the barrier that he had set around himself was suddenly shattered. At the same time, the necromancer was blown backwards by immense attack power.

As he fell heavily unto the ground, the necromancer felt that his body was suddenly beginning to freeze. At the same time, he noticed that currently, there was someone that was approaching the scene.

He noticed that the one that was approaching was a lady that was putting on a red armor, with her wavy blue hair flowing behind her. She had a cold expression on her face as she stared at him deeply.

Of course, the Necromancer did not take long to recognize who it was. He had suddenly realized that, several of Henry’s team members were not present during the time that they were fighting.

Previously, he had thought that they had been dealt with by the rest of the necromancers before they were killed. But, it seemed that he was wrong.

The pupils of the Necromancer dilated. He immediately knew that, if he continued fighting, then, there was a big chance that he was going to be killed.

Just from the fact that the attack that had been launched by Olivia had managed to break the barrier that he had set around himself, then, that implied that, his defenses were not capable of dealing with her.

So, without hesitation, he turned into a cloud of smoke and decided to leave the area. He was not willing to entangle himself currently considering that he was the one that was at a disadvantage.

Olivia on the other hand saw that the necromancer was about to flee. However, she did not chase after him. Currently, the matter that she needed to deal with was to look at the condition of Henry and Diana.

So, she ignored the Necromancer as he turned into a thick cloud of black smoke and rushed into the distance.

Olivia arrived before Henry who was still unconscious. She noticed that, Henry had several wounds on him, of course, only the parts that were exposed.

But, there was something else that she had noticed. And that was the fact that, Henry had begun bleeding. The amount of blood that he was losing did not correspond to the wounds that he had suffered.

Olivia bent down, and looked at him closely. She realized that, even on his face, his skin had suddenly began tearing apart. It was just that, the tearing on the face was not as intense as on the other parts of the body as currently, Henry was losing a lot of blood.

’It is good that we did not leave. Otherwise, I don’t know how things would have become.’ Olivia thought to herself as she looked at Henry. After that, she took out a walkie-talkie and contacted Sarah.

"Come over soon as possible. Henry is injured and is losing a lot of blood. You will have to heal him."

"Copy that." Sarah’s voice came through the walkie-talkie.

After confirming that Henry was not in that much of danger of perishing for a short moment, she went ahead and looked at Diana. Just like Henry, she had also passed out.

But, her condition was way better as compared to Henry. Olivia observed her, and she realized that, Diana had simply passed out from exhaustion. Currently, her face was pale as if she did not have blood in her body.

’I just wonder what kind of fight they were involved in. It seems that the opponent that they faced this time was not weak.’ Olivia thought to herself as she looked at the surroundings that were currently completely devastated.

During the time that Henry had instructed them to leave, they had actually agreed. But, after they reached halfway towards the territory, they all agreed to turn around.

And when they came back, Olivia told everyone to remain inside of the Jeep, as she came over to check if everything was going well.

Of course, Adam was against it. But, she beat him up, using a sneak attack, knocking him out. She knew that, Henry was facing a great enemy. At the end of the day, from the expression that she had seen on his face, she knew that the matter was serious.

Moreover, just from the fact that the monsters had been scared away, then, the one that he was supposed to face was supposed to be way stronger than imagined.

Since she did not know the current condition that Henry was in, she decided that Adam had to remain behind. She did not want him to do anything stupid in case the results were not as he was expecting.

She also felt lucky that she had come over way soon. Otherwise, there was no doubt that the necromancer would have killed Henry if she was just even a single second late.

Not long after, the low sound of an approaching engine reached Olivia’s ears. She looked around, and she realized that, the Jeep had suddenly arrived.

Sarah immediately alighted from the Jeep and rushed towards Henry. Of the two people that were currently on the ground, Henry was the one that was bleeding the most.

Without wasting time, Sarah immediately used the healing skill that she possessed. Since it had already been improved to the three star level, it was capable of closing the majority of the wounds that were on Henry’s body.

Sarah did not spare much of the energy in her body. She knew that Henry was important, and other than the fact that he was currently their leader, he was also the person that had helped them become who they were currently.

So, she was not willing to see him die. So, she continuously cast the healing spell until she realized that, the wounds that had been appearing on Henry had disappeared.

It was only then that she finally heaved a sigh of relief. But, she frowned when she realized that Henry was not waking up. Instead, he stayed motionless on the ground just like he was before.

There was perspiration on his forehead. It was as if he was having a fever or something.

"There has to be something wrong with Henry." Sarah stated worriedly as she began checking on his condition. Since she was involved in medicine, of course, she knew on how to check a person’s pulse.

"Everything seems normal. Even his temperature is normal. But, he is sweating as if his body temperature is up. This is completely abnormal." Sarah stated after she finished checking Henry.
