Chapter 133: Duplication

As he was still stunned by the prowess of the attack that had been launched at him, he suddenly turned around. At the same time, he strengthened the shield that he was holding to block an attack.

Henry’s current combat capabilities had been increased by a large margin. That implied that, not only did his strength increase, but, even his agility was increased as well. So, with fast motions, he began swinging the sword in front of him, blocking the spikes that were attacking him.

At the same time, he used the advantage of possessing several means of attacking, by launching several fire arrows at the clone.

When Henry began attacking using his mage path, the clone was forced to retreat and stop attacking using the spikes. It was only during this period that Henry suddenly realized that, it seemed that the clone was not able to attack and block at the same time.

But, it was completely different for him. So, deciding to take advantage, Henry began attacking continuously, not giving the clone a chance. No matter how much the clone tried to retreat, Henry would always be upon him.

"How can this be?! There is no way that a puny human is capable of preventing me from doing what I want in this world!" The clone exclaimed. And in the next moment, a large amount of dark energy suddenly surged out of his body, spreading around.

In the next moment, the light condensed and formed yet another figure of the clone. This surprised Henry because he had never expected that this clone actually possessed such a skill.

"You think that you can prevent me from attacking you by just attacking me continuously? Dream on! I am a supreme being of the dark race, so, don’t you ever think that I’m going to allow you to get out of here alive after humiliating me like this." The two clones stated at the same time.

Of course the clone was angry. Previously, he had been showing off in front of Henry, claiming that, if he joined the dark race, they were going to be able to nurture him to become stronger than ever before.

And when Henry refused, he had thought that perhaps by beating him, he could subdue him. At the same time, if Henry continuously refused, he could just go ahead and use his own methods to reveal the secrets that Henry was hiding.

But now, he had realized that he had done a mistake. Had he known that it was going to be this difficult to handle Henry, then, he would have killed him during the time that he was still fusing with Diana.

Nevertheless, it was not like he believed that he had been defeated. Instead, he had finally began utilizing the best skills that he possessed.

The only reason why he had not been using this skill was simply because, the clone was not capable of handling the skills that he was currently possessing. Since the level of the clone was only at the 8th level of the Bronze rank, then, it was not able to handle higher level skills.

But now, he had been forced. He had decided to disregard all the consequences, and begin using higher level skills. It was just that, he did not utilize the best skills in his arsenal.

Nonetheless, he could feel that the body of the clones was being torn apart. That implied that, the clones would not be able to survive for a long time. So, he would have to deal with Henry as fast as possible.

This time, he was not willing to give Henry any chance. He only had about 3 minutes of survival, that indicated that, he had to ensure that he had finished Henry in these 3 minutes. Otherwise, their plan to set up a base in Crystal City would be completely trashed.

Being attacked by two clones at the same time, Henry felt pressured. But, he had realized that, there was one of them that was possessing low combat capabilities as compared to the other.

Nonetheless, he was not given any chance of taking advantage of the situation. It seemed that the clone had finally decided to become serious, and in case Henry revealed any opening, the clone would always take advantage of that.

For that reason, Henry had already suffered several blows from the clone. Had it not been for the fact that he was currently putting on a three star armor, then, he would have already been fatally injured.

But still, Henry realized that, the armor was not going to be capable of holding on for a longer period of time. If the attacks continued coming his way at the current rate, then, it would not take more than a minute before the armor finally broke down.

Even though it was true that the armor was a three star equipment, it was not capable of handling the attacks of the clone’s level.

"You’re thinking that you are the only one who can multiply himself? You must be out of your mind." Henry stated in a low voice.

In the next moment, he activated the duplication skill that he had gotten from killing Lucas. The moment that the skill was activated, Henry suddenly felt that the energy in his body was reduced by half. But, he didn’t care.

At the same time, he felt that his body was splitting apart. Despite the fact that he could feel it, he did not feel any pain from it. It was as if he was dividing himself into two.

When the clone realized that Henry had activated a skill, he went ahead and attacked. He had realized that there was no way that he was going to give Henry any chance of using the skills that he possessed.

This guy possessed many skills that did not make any sense. At the end of the day, the apocalypse had just started, but, Henry possessed skills that were way above the current level of the apocalypse.

Henry also realized that, it was going to take a few seconds for him to be able to divide himself into two. That implied that, he had to look for a way to prevent the attack.

But, there was no way that he could move during this moment that the skill was activated. So, despite the fact that Henry did not have the intention of doing that, he activated the skill that he had been saving for himself in case of an emergency.

Just before the spikes that had been launched by the two clones landed on Henry, he activated the injury immunity. This granted him two seconds of immunity to any attack. It was just that, this skill possessed a cool down of 1 hour. Nevertheless, the two seconds were enough.

As the spikes landed on his body, Henry felt that there was something that was hitting his body, but, he did not feel any pain. It was as if someone was dropping a few granules of sand on his skin from a close range.

The moment that the two seconds ended, Henry reacted by moving to the side, getting out of the trajectory of the other spikes that were about to hit him.

The clone on the other hand was completely stunned. He looked at Henry incredulously and shouted, "This cannot be! Just how many freaking skills do you possess? You want to tell me that you currently possess invincibility as well? And the skill to be able to multiply yourself into two? That is a skill that is only supposed to be found in the later stages of the apocalypse!"

Henry of course did not care about what the clone was saying. Currently, he was only remaining with about 4 minutes before the fusion skill expired. At that time, he would be separated from Diana, and by doing that, his combat capability power would be reduced.

One of the two Henrys took on the role of a long range attacker, while another one, took on the role of the close combat fighter.
