Chapter 127: Intimidation of the Monster Race

Henry had been observing the battlefield all this while in case there was any change. Other than the fact that he wanted Adam and the rest to level up, there was also a fact that, he was trying to keep an eye on the leader of the necromancers.

That guy had suddenly disappeared, so, Henry had to be prepared for anything. Consequently, as the fight went on, he also paid his attention towards the group of monsters that were just standing there.

Even the bear was actually looking towards a certain direction of the city, without making any movements. This of course attracted Henry’s attention as he looked towards the same direction that the bear was looking at.

But, no matter how hard he looked, he did not notice anything wrong. However, there was one thing that Henry trusted, and that was, the instincts of a monster.

Even though the group of monsters did not have high intelligence, they had managed to come over and participate in the dungeon event. That was an event that if Henry had not heard an explosion, he would have definitely not come over.

So, Henry eliminated that, the reason the monsters came over was simply because they trusted their instincts. And now, Henry felt that there was something wrong with that particular side of the city.

Henry had noticed that the direction that the group of monsters was looking at was actually the same direction that they had been previously, before they came over to enter the dungeon.

Just then, Henry suddenly thought of something. During the time that they were there, there was a necromancer that came over. And, it was also during that time that they were told about the prohibition that was placed over in this place, preventing fights from occurring.

At that time, Henry did not know what the necromancer wanted to do, and they did not pay much attention to him. At the end of the day, they were all focusing on what was happening in that particular side of the city to attract the attention of a large group of necromancers and monsters.

But now, Henry suddenly thought that, there might have been something that that necromancer was doing there. Until now, he had not noticed the figure of that necromancer.

Even though it was quite difficult to distinguish between necromancers because they were all dressed the same, still, their physiques were completely different. So, Henry could of course remember how the other necromancer was in terms of height, and body shape.

"What is that with this group of monsters?" Jake who had just arrived beside Henry asked as he looked at the group of monsters that was not making any move.

He could not understand anything, considering that, he believed that, this group of monsters would not be intimidated by the fact that, Henry’s group had completely eradicated the necromancers.

For the monsters, most of the times, they would have to be beaten fast before they came to realize that, the person that they were facing was actually way out of their league. But now, they had not faced Henry’s group at all.

Of course, even Jake himself was surprised by the combat capabilities that Adam and the two ladies possessed. Of course, the thing that had attracted him the most was the fact that, Adam was extremely strong, and the armor that he was putting on was also out of this world.

Even though currently he was putting on a two star armor, he was sure that it was going to break only after a few attacks. Moreover, the attacks that Adam was launching were actually strong enough to blow away the necromancers even though they had already protected themselves in the dark barrier.

Of course, Jake and his group had already faced a group of necromancers before. There were two of them, and Jake had managed to deal with them, after he managed to reach the Bronze rank.

Even though Jake did not know the source of the equipment that was being possessed by Henry’s group, he was sure that, they possessed incredible resources. After all, each and everyone in the entire group that had been brought over by Henry was putting on that armor.

"There has to be something wrong in that direction. And I can guess that it is related to the leader of the necromancers." Henry replied.

After hearing the response from Henry, Jake finally reacted. He had been wondering where the leader of the necromancers had disappeared to, but, it seemed that there was something that this leader was planning.

At the end of the day, there was no way that a race that wanted domination was going to retreat easily. Moreover, with all the information that they possessed, it was obvious that they had come over prepared for anything.

"Henry, I can detect that there is a thick dark aura that has suddenly erupted in that direction." Sarah came forward and stated with a frown on her face as she looked towards the same direction that the monsters were looking in.

With Sarah’s words, Henry was finally able to confirm that his conjecture was true. It seemed that there was something that the necromancer was doing. As for whether it was good or bad, there was no need for him to ask considering that, the necromancers wanted to complete eradicating the human race, turning them into their undead warriors.

So, no matter what, whatever it was that the leader of the necromancers was doing, they had to get prepared for it. Additionally, Henry had a feeling that, with the fact that the Necromancer was actually a level 5 bronze rank existence, then, whatever it was doing, definitely had to be more dangerous than level 5 bronze rank.

Even though Henry wanted to go forward and confirm what was happening, and if possible stop it, he was not willing to go there blindly. Just from the fact that the group of monsters was looking in that direction, without making any movements, that meant that, there was not even a single benefit that came by going there.

Just then, Henry suddenly realized that there was a shift in the monsters. Suddenly, their bodies began trembling as they subconsciously began retreating. Then, before Henry and his group could react, the group of monsters suddenly began rushing away.

The bear that was the leader of the entire group of monsters roared. It tried to control the group of monsters under it, but no matter how hard it tried, even though the monsters hesitated in retreating, they still went ahead and ran away.

At this moment, it was as if they had seen something that came directly out of a horror movie. Just from the shivering of their bodies, and the panic within their eyes as they escaped, Henry also came to realize that, there was something that had happened.

"The dark energy has intensified. A creature that is more filthy than the necromancers has suddenly appeared. It is in the same direction as before." With a grim expression on her face, Sarah stated.

At this moment, she felt that the energy in her body was trembling. The light energy in her body was restless, as if it was feeling that there was something evil that needed to be cleansed in the air.

But of course, having already seen the reaction of the monsters, Sarah knew that, even though she possessed an advantage against the dark creatures, she was not capable of dealing with the one that had appeared now.

The reason was that, even the bear that seemed to be much proud as compared to the other monsters, after hesitating for a while, also rushed away. One had to know that, currently, the leader of the monsters was actually at the third level of the bronze rank.

Henry had already seen that there was a trace of fear within the monster’s eyes. That implied that, the existence that had suddenly appeared out of nowhere was actually capable of terrifying a level 3 bronze rank creature.

One had to understand that, monsters were completely different from humans. They were not easily intimidated. But, the bear had also ran away. With that, Henry had already confirmed that what they were going to face next was going to be extremely dangerous.

It was just that, even though Henry wanted to retreat, he knew that, no matter what, they had to face this existence. Currently, the city could be said to me somehow safe considering that, the zombies that would have been causing the commotion all around had all been converted into skeleton warriors.

But, since this was a battle for domination of races, then, even if they decided to leave now and go back to the territory, they would not change the fact that, the necromancer would come looking for them.

Of course, Henry was not willing to abandon the territory that he had just set up. With many people that had already joined the territory, that implied that, if they wanted to move, they had to move with all the people.

Otherwise, it was going to be troublesome if he abandoned those that have joined his territory. It was going to bring issues in the matter of trust in the future. Since he wanted to build a stronger foundation, Henry had to take care of some things that might seem small during the early stages well.

"I want all of you to retreat. Take the Jeep with you and return to the territory. Be prepared to fight if there’s any existence that is going to attack the territory. I will remain here to deal with the new terror that has appeared." Henry stated after a moment of contemplation.

"How can you say that? We are brothers and we have always been together. So, don’t you think that I’m going to abandon you during such a time. If we die, then we are going to die together." Adam stated with a smile on his face. It seemed that he was joking, but, he was completely serious about it.

"That will not do. No matter what, I am currently your second in command. There’s no way that I’m going to leave you to take care of the problem by yourself. This is a matter concerning the territory that I am part of." Olivia immediately refuted.
