Chapter 124: Destructive Jeep

[The prohibition has been lifted with the end of three hour period that had been given for the event. The apocalypse can resume to how it was before, and the races can fight against each other for domination.]

A prompt appeared in front of everyone. And the moment that this happened, the air suddenly became tense. With the lifting of the prohibition, it was as if the war drums had already been struck.

Now, there was no longer any prohibition that was going to prevent Henry’s group from slaughtering the necromancers in front of them. But just like the humans, the necromancers also thought the same.

Of course, they could not understand the reason as to why the humans did not run away from here. Instead, they were staying here. But, that was good for them. Perhaps the humans thought that there was yet another opportunity that they could exploit, however, they never knew that only death awaited them.

In a few seconds after the prohibition was lifted, the skeleton warriors that had been standing on the side without making any movements suddenly began moving.

With them moving, the collision of bones could be heard in the air. At the same time, other than battle intent, killing intent also filled the air together with the dark aura that was being possessed by the necromancers.

Sarah was the most uncomfortable person in the area. She possessed an opposite element to the one that was being possessed by the necromancers. For that reason, there was an invisible point between them.

And since they were not only stronger than her in terms of levels, but, there were also many of them, Sarah suddenly felt suppressed. She really felt uncomfortable being at a place that was filled with filthy air.

"I wanted to cleanse all these dirt that these necromancers have brought over." Sarah stated hostilely. Henry and the others could understand because, normally, light and dark were always against each other, fighting.

"I guess it is time for us to deal with this group. They have already been causing a lot of trouble to our city." Henry stated in a low voice. Since they had already set up a territory here, and there was no option of moving it to another place, then, there was only one choice, and that was, to ensure that the territory never fell.

Ever since Henry had set up the territory, that was the time that he had decided on going to take over the entire crystal city. Moreover, due to the fact that the territory was named as domination star, then, they had to dominate everything.

Now, it was a war between several races for domination. And now, they were in a battle that was going to determine who was going to hold an advantage in the beginning of the race for domination.

Without hesitation, Henry began pressing several buttons present inside the Jeep. With all the knowledge of controlling the Jeep in his mind, he was like a professional that had been using the Jeep for several decades.

The holographic screen In front of him showed him everything that was around the Jeep. At the same time, there was an invisible barrier that had already been formed around the Jeep.

Other than the materials that were used to make the Jeep, there was also an invisible barrier that was used to enhance the defensive system of the Jeep.

Henry not been in possession of the Jeep, then, he would have surely retreated when facing such an incredible force. But, it was completely different now.

With the target locked on, Henry pressed on the attack button. And the moment that that happened, suddenly, in front of the Jeep, openings appeared.

At the same time, small cannons appeared as they aimed towards the group of the skeleton warriors that was charging towards them with incredible momentum.

"Let’s test the improvement." Henry said as he looked at the holographic screen that was showing him the skeleton warriors that were charging over.

Shoo! Shoo!

One after another, small balls suddenly shot out of the cannons that had appeared in front of the Jeep. And since the skeleton warriors were mindless, they did not evade. Instead, there were some of them that waved their bone weapons towards the projectiles that have been thrown towards them.

But of course, that was just a dream. Not only did the projectiles that shot out of the Jeep move at a higher speed, they were also small and not easy to target.

So, all the attacks that the skeleton warriors were trying to use to knock away the projectiles that have been thrown towards them were futile.

Since the system claimed that the attack system of the Jeep was able to deal with a level 5 Bronze rank apocalyptic creature, then, how was it possible for Rank O skeleton warriors to deal with the projectiles?

Booom! Booom! Booom!

Big explosions occurred one after the other as the projectiles landed onto the ground. Of course, some of them knocked onto some of the skeleton warriors that were in the trajectory of the projectiles.

And the moment that the projectiles landed on something, they immediately exploded. With the incredible force that they had been launched with, added with the incredible power that they possessed, any skeleton warriors that was in the surrounding 100 m of the projectile was blown into dust.

All the bones of the skeleton warriors that were caught inside the explosion were ground into dust that was blown away by the shockwave that was produced during the explosion.

The eyes of the necromancers suddenly tightened. They had never expected that the humans were actually capable of dealing with the skeleton warriors that easily.

With just a single wave of attacks from the Jeep, several thousands of the skeleton warriors had already been destroyed. This not only surprised the necromancers, but, even Jake and his group.

Previously, even though they were standing some distance away, they were ready to charge forward in case there was any danger. But now, they were completely dumbfounded that they did not know how to react.

First of all, they had previously thought that the car that Henry was possessing was actually just an armored vehicle. But in the end, they were surprised that the Jeep was also capable of attacking.

Had It been pre-apocalypse, then, Jake would have thought that the Jeep possessed several bombs that were being launched out. But, for now, Jake even doubted that the bombs of the pre-apocalypse period were actually capable of dealing with this group of undead.

Moreover, as the shock wave blew over, Jake did not detect any form of radiation from them. Instead, he felt that there was a special kind of energy that was contained inside the attack, and, it was not dangerous to the environment.

"That’s it! Finally there is someone who can deal with this group of skeleton warriors. I was afraid that we were going to be overwhelmed by their numbers, but, I never expected that they were going to be dealt with easily!" One of the men that were close to Jake exclaimed with excitement.

"Don’t get too enthusiastic about this. You have to be prepared for anything. We don’t know if that is all that the Jeep possesses in terms of attacking..." Jake warned. But, he had not finished what He was saying when suddenly, he noticed that another wave of projectiles were being launched towards the skeleton warriors.

His mouth hung open as he looked at the projectiles landing in the middle of the skeleton warriors, blowing them into dust. At the same time, the ground in the area that was already filled with the rubble was also ground into dust, while at the same time, several deep craters were formed on the ground.

As Henry attacked, he began driving the Jeep towards the direction that the necromancers were dumbfounded. With the tires of the Jeep already in the off-road mode, it did not matter if the place that he was passing was a crater or not, still, the Jeep was able to run at an incredible speed.

One of the necromancers exclaimed in anger as he looked at the Jeep that was running around, sending projectiles that blasted the skeleton warriors into dust.

Even though it was true that the ones that were getting killed were the skeleton warriors, but, that was the first that they had used a lot of energy and resources to amass.

Of course there was no way that they were capable of controlling all the zombies towards a single direction, before turning them into skeleton warriors.

Had they personally possessed the ability, then, they would have surely become invincible. However, to be able to do what they had done, they depended on something else.
