Chapter 106: Why Are You Guys So Weird?

Chapter 106: Why Are You Guys So Weird?

Since Henry could not go there with the Jeep, they could no longer use the holographic screen to monitor their surroundings. But still, they were able to depend on their own senses, to monitor them.

Additionally, due to the fact that, in the location that they were currently in, fighting was prohibited, they were not afraid that there was going to be someone that would sneak an attack on them.

The group headed towards the direction that they had seen the numerous red dots gathered in. And after approximately 20 minutes, the group finally arrived in an area where, numerous skeleton warriors seemed to be waiting for something.

Henry and the others frowned. After all, in front of them, there was a large number of skeleton warriors, numbering to hundreds of thousands, and even perhaps, millions. In short, they could not see the end of the skeleton warriors.

"What the f*ck! Are you kidding me? All of these are just skeleton warriors? If they really attack the city, then, I’m not sure that we could handle them." Adam exclaimed as he looked at the skeleton worries in front of him.

He had already been informed about what had happened before, about a group of thousands of skeleton warriors that were attacking, only to be neutralized by Henry’s group.

But now, looking at this large group of skeleton warriors, even though Adam believed that he was strong, he did not believe that he was capable of taking care of this large group.

"It seems that there is more to the Necromancers than we know about." Olivia said in a calm yet serious voice. She knew what this implied. If this large group of skeleton warriors charged towards the city, the only solution that they could have would be to perhaps retreat.

There was no way that they could fight this last group of skeleton warriors head on. Even though it was true that the skeleton warriors did not possess that much combat capabilities, but still, their number was frightening.

If the defensive barrier around the territory was strong enough, then, as long as they dealt with the higher level Necromancers, then, they might be capable of dealing with this group while hiding inside the barrier.

"Let’s get going. We have to know what is going on here. If there’s an opportunity, then, we will have to make sure that we grab it. Otherwise, if we don’t improve ourselves, even if we get out of here, we will be forced to retreat from Crystal City." Henry said as he looked at the group of skeleton warriors in front of him.

Of course, the person that was feeling the most uncomfortable was Sarah. She was the one who was the most incompatible with the dark side. So, just feeling the dark energy that was filled in the air, she felt restrained.

Of course, Henry had noticed this. But, there was nothing that he could do, other than getting out of here.

The skeleton warriors watched them as they passed by. The red flames that were within their eye sockets flickered from time to time, as if, they really wanted to attack, but, they were being held back by a command.

Henry’s group continued moving forward, and not long after, they finally saw a visage of an old ruin in front of them. It was quite far, but, with their speed, they were sure that they would not take a long time to arrive in front of it.

Currently, the entire landscape of the Western part of the city had been flattened. All the buildings and other vegetation and so on, had all been razed onto the ground.

Had it not been for the rubble that was filling the entire place, then, this would have been a good plain, at the same time, a good place for a battle to take place.

In about 10 minutes, they finally arrived in front of that ruin. Additionally, they had realized that, from the other end to the front of this building that was in form of a ruin, the skeleton warriors were always present.

It was also during this moment that, Henry’s group finally understood where the zombies had gone to. It seemed that, the necromancers had taken advantage of the zombies not being strong, to convert all of them into skeleton warriors.

Additionally, after they arrived here, they finally realized that, it was not just a group of necromancers that was here, but, even monsters. They were standing on the other side of the ruin.

Currently, the number of Necromancers that Henry and the rest had seen had already reached 13. As for the monsters, just like before, there were many of them.

Additionally, Henry also noticed that, other than them, there was actually another group of humans. This group was also surprised to see that, there was yet another group of humans that had arrived.

Currently, it was a competition between races. So, the moment that they arrived here, the other group came over.

"Hello, I am Jake. I’m the leader of mutant warriors association. You are...?" A man who seemed to be in his late 30s, having purple hair, green eyes, and an athletic build asked as he stretched his hand towards Henry for greetings.

"I am Henry. Domination star." Henry shook the man’s hand, as he responded with an introduction of his own.

At the same time, he focused on the man in front of him, and finally, a screen appeared in front of him.

[Jake Bravo

Power level: Level 1 Bronze rank

Profession: SS- grade Wind Mage

Skills: ??? ]

Henry’s eyes squinted a little. This was yet another person who possessed an SS grade profession. Other than Lucas whom they had dealt with previously, this guy was also a mage.

More than that, he was also surprised that this guy had also reached the Bronze rank. It seemed that, even though it was true that Lucas was the first person to enter the bronze rank in the city, that did not imply that others did not reach the bronze rank later on.

Of course, Henry was not the only person who was looking at the other person’s stats. Jake, who had been looking at the panel that had appeared in front of him, couldn’t help but get puzzled.

[???

Power level: ???

Profession: ???

Skills: ??? ]

In short, in the panel that had appeared in front of him, there was nothing at all. It was filled with question marks, and he could not see even a single stat that possessed information about Henry who was in front of him.

Thinking that there had to be something wrong, he focused once again, but, the results were the same. Then, he shifted his gaze towards Olivia who was standing just a step behind Henry, and yet another panel screen appeared in front of him.

[???

Power level: level 1 Bronze rank.

Profession: ???

Skills: ??? ]

Other than the power level that Olivia was currently in, there was nothing else that was shown on the screen in front of him. This puzzled Jake further. Had it been just for Henry alone, then, he might have said that, Henry perhaps possessed a skill that was able to hide his stats.

But, the same thing happened when he looked at Olivia. At the same time, he was also surprised of that, she had actually managed to reach the bronze rank. And from where she was standing, it was obvious that, she was not the leader of the group.

Not believing this, Jake shifted his gaze and looked at Adam. Then, another screen appeared in front of him.

[???

Power level: level 1 Bronze rank.

Profession: SS- Grade Berserker

Skills: ??? ]

Jake’s eyes widened in disbelief once again. After all, even though it was true that this time, he was provided with more information than the previous times, But still, he was not given the full information that he was supposed to get.

Normally, he was supposed to get the name of the person, the power level, and the profession of that person. As for the skills, that was something that he had never seen.

But for three consecutive times, he had not seen everything. It was as if, there was always something that was hiding the information of the people in front of him from him.

Not wanting to give up, he looked at Sarah, but the results were the same. There was no name. Finally, his gaze landed on Jasmine, and only then did he get what he was looking for.

[Jasmine ???

Power Level: Level 9 Rank O

Profession: S- grade Lightning Mage

Skills: ??? ]

Although he had gotten the information, but still, and there was another question mark on the surname part.

"why are you guys so weird?" Jake couldn’t help but ask subconsciously. It was only for a moment that he realized what he had asked, that he corrected himself, "I’m sorry about that. Don’t mind about the nonsense that I have said."

Of course, Henry and the other side already realized that, Jake was trying to look into the information. But, since they did not know what he had seen, they simply thought that he had exclaimed like that because he found how strong they were, and, the grade of their professions.

Jake’s heart on the other hand was in turmoil. After all, he had previously thought that, his group that possessed two bronze rank mutant warriors was strong enough. Additionally, since they were the first humans that had arrived here, he believed that, they were the ones at an advantage.

But now, in front of him, there was a group that possessed at least two bronze rank mutant warriors. And, that did not count the leader, and the lady who was beside him.
