The Red Dragon Just Wants To Do As It Pleases -
Chapter 50 - 49: Stop Fighting
Chapter 50: Chapter 49: Stop Fighting
A suddenly stressed and furious Red Hatchling Dragon was often far more dangerous than a ravenous Northeast Tiger.
It could even be said that this desperate Red Dragon, trying to break out, was no less formidable than David had been when he was paralyzed by drugs and covered in wounds.
Moreover, to prevent the High Elf prisoners of war from having a chance to rebel during the dragon-hunting mission, David hadn’t equipped them with any lethal weapons.
What they had were only a few wooden arrows coated with paralyzing agents, provided mainly to about a dozen Elves who, led by Yevgeny, had shown clearer signs of capitulation.
The others were either holding hempen nets or the dragon-hunting iron chains that David and his sister had broken.
These Elves, who bullied the weak and feared the strong, had valued their own lives greatly when they first faced David. Now, stripped of their weapons, they hardly dared to directly confront such a reckless and tenacious creature.
Each of them was like an apprentice matador in a bullfighting arena, nervously holding nets and chains from a distance. Upon the Red Dragon’s charge, they threw down their nets and scattered.
But these tactics, clearly aimed at a live capture, seemed to confirm Lizrite’s suspicions. She used all the strength she would have reserved for fighting her siblings for food. While avoiding the sparse but clearly treacherous arrows and the Frost Breaths fired by the Silver Dragon and White Dragon from behind, she crashed her way towards her nest.
Occasionally, by sheer fluke, a net or iron chain thrown by one of the fumbling Elves would ensnare her. However, with an impact force comparable to a grown wild boar, the Red Hatchling Dragon could not be stopped. Two somewhat more stubborn but unlucky Elves didn’t release their hold in time like their companions. They were immediately dragged like victims caught under the wheels of a hit-and-run female driver’s car and, in the blink of an eye, crashed into tree roots and were knocked unconscious.
Seeing that such a large group of Elves had been mobilized only to make such a laughable mess, David, who had been pursuing her like a cheetah, exploded with curses on the spot:
"A bunch of trash! Did none of you eat breakfast?"
[Arrogance]
"Over a hundred of you can’t even catch a Red Hatchling Dragon?"
[Wrath]
"If she gets away today, you bunch of bean sprouts might as well slit your own throats right now. It would save me the trouble of drowning you all in the sea."
[Arrogance]
[Wrath]
Seeing their explosive-tempered slave master resort to personal threats, these Elf prisoners of war, who indeed hadn’t had time to eat breakfast before being conscripted due to David’s sudden visit, now had to exert every ounce of their strength, just as they had against David years ago.
Agile as golden monkeys darting through the jungle, they quickly formed layered interception lines, throwing fishing nets and chains over the Red Dragon’s head like a fairy scattering flowers.
Then, as she crashed into them, unable to dodge, they quickly wrapped the ends of the chains around tree trunks, digging in their heels and pulling with all their might.
Below, Lizrite could already see her nest just outside the forest.
As long as she charged into her own nest, she was confident she could shake off her pursuers using the maze-like tunnels and complex scents she had dug inside.
She immediately unleashed all her potential, clawing and biting at the intercepting nets before her.
The sounds of tearing nets and snapping chains filled the air, and the Elves in the trees holding the ropes were sent tumbling.
Seeing that this Red Hatchling Dragon was actually about to slip away from their large group, the Elves, including Drow and Yevgeny, grew desperate.
"ROAR!!!"
But just as they were about to reach her, a deep red figure roared, arriving first despite the others’ head start, and pounced, biting the other’s neck mid-air.
The massive kinetic energy instantly snapped all the interception nets and sent the Elves holding the ropes flying.
The two Red Dragons, wrestling and rolling together, finally stopped after tumbling a dozen times and breaking several trees.
By the time everyone arrived, they saw David astride the loser in a victor’s stance, firmly biting her comparatively slender yet powerful neck.
The other dragon, even when facing the threat of death, refused to yield. She struggled relentlessly, trying to break free from David’s chokehold. However, she was immobilized by the overwhelming difference in their size and strength.
It was just that this posture, this scene of unwilling struggle...
If this were a different time and place, it wouldn’t look much different from a male dragon forcefully courting during mating season.
"Uh..."
For a moment, the Elves who had gathered around didn’t know if they should step in to liven things up or take the hint and make themselves scarce.
"Whoa... Whoa... WAAAH! My head!!!" The White Hatchling Dragon Mofei, who had rushed over, stared with wide eyes and tail, much like someone from Blue Star who had accidentally played their classmate’s parents’ adult video. He had barely let out two exclamations before Tania, the Silver Dragon, who had also rushed over, stomped on his head mid-air, causing him to bite his tongue.
"Brother! What do you think you’re doing? Let her go!"
Seeing David actually enjoying the moment, Tania couldn’t help but get angry. Her adorable yet ferocious side was rarely seen.
"Huh? No way! She’s really strong. Tania, quick, come help me hold down her rear and tail!" David, still firmly biting the other’s neck, mumbled his request.
"..." Even though she intellectually understood what her brother was doing, Tania was extremely reluctant to comply with his rather ’excessive’ request to ’bully’ another girl.
"Alright... Don’t be so rough, you’re making the Dragon girl bleed," Tania eventually conceded, her Silver Dragon’s composure prevailing.
But before Tania could get close enough,
CRACK!
A crisp sound echoed.
They saw the female Red Dragon, taking advantage of the moment David spoke to Tania, break free from the restraint on her upper body and retaliate by biting David’s head.
It was exactly how he had once bitten the head of a young female Silver Dragon in his sleep.
"Brother, your head is bleeding too..." Tania said, stunned.
This familiar scene left her momentarily unsure how to help. As a Silver Dragon, she wasn’t very good at such barbaric close-quarters combat.
"...I know," David said, somewhat embarrassed.
He immediately glanced up at the female Dragon, took a deep breath, and hissed through clenched teeth, sparks seeming to fly from them:
"Let go, or I’ll break your neck."
[Wrath]
"You let go first! Otherwise, even if I die here today, I’ll crack open your skull first!" the young female Dragon threatened, her life on the line.
"Are you going to let go or not?"
[Wrath]
"No!"
"GROWL???" David immediately let out a threatening growl.
[Wrath]
"ROAR!!!" The defiant female Dragon attacked first.
Everyone watched in astonishment as the two True Dragons, much like wild cats, clung to each other’s upper bodies, tearing and biting.
Their hind limbs thrashed wildly, kicking at each other’s vulnerable abdomens as they rolled all over the ground.
In an instant, countless Dragon scales flew into the air.

"...Stop fighting! Please stop fighting!" Tania, the Silver Dragon, pleaded, at a loss.
Mofei, the White Dragon, was hiding behind a tree trunk watching the two dragons fight. He looked at the agile and alluring form of the young female Red Dragon with a mix of envy and jealousy. Covering his mouth, he whispered in a pinched voice:
"You can’t kill a dragon like that..."
