The Pack's Weirdo : A Mystery to unveil
Chapter 89 - The final war : The end of Greyson

Chapter 89: Chapter 89 - The final war : The end of Greyson

All the people, irrespective of their species, are writing in pain for a complete half an hour. If it were not for Aadhya, they would have felt the same for at least a few hours more, but she can’t see her loved ones in this condition for much longer... especially Ryan. Even after ending everything, not even a single person has the strength to stand on their feet again. The experience that they felt is so painful that many of them are still shivering, and there are goosebumps all over their body. Few are still crying.

Aadhya was observing all this when Ryan got up and engulfed her in his arms. No words were exchanged between them, but Ryan already knew what he had experienced just now. All of them experienced the experience of Aadhya when Greyson was experimenting on her. They all were able to feel the pain that she had felt for two years. They heard the cruel laughter of Greyson, they heard him talking with Aadhya, and in return, only her whimpers were heard by them.

While everyone was shaken, Aadhya felt calm and safe on this battlefield too. She was finally in her mate’s arms. This time it is not just Ryan but king too. They were not in the mood to let each other go, but because of the demands of the situation, both of them let each other go and looked at Greyson. "Those who are still thinking about what they just experienced... Let me tell you that these are the memories of my wolf. I was born in my wolf form, and from the time of my birth to the time when I turned two years old, I am the experimenting subject of Greyson" she closed her eyes, and everyone around her felt the shift of power in the air.

She slowly opened her eyes and could feel her hair keep getting upward on its own. In a few seconds, a beautiful crown adorned her head with her hair weaved in it. "I am the Luna queen of this werewolf world. No one has any right over me, no one can decide where I will stay, and you, Greyson... I have every right to infiltrate this land to kill you, torture you, or just to show you that you are nothing but a psycho scientist," Greyson growled at this, but Aadhya didn’t even flinch. "Those who think that they are not anymore in support of him can come to our side, or who are not interested in fighting can go from here", she announced loudly and clearly.

A rogue came and stood in front of Greyson. "Why would we believe you? This crown proves that you are nothing but just a puppet of the moon goddess. The moon goddess is just scared that our master will fulfil the prophecy and will take her throne. We all know that she always has used her powers against white wolves. She has also given you this stupid power to waive our faith in our master" Before he could continue, Aadhya transformed her hand into a claw and beheaded him on the spot. Although this shocked many of the people present there, she didn’t seem to be fazed by it.

She again transformed her claw into her hand, but before someone could say anything, they heard many howls, and a huge number of rogues entered the battlefield, and now, all the people that had come with Ryan were in a circle made by those rogues. But this, again, didn’t make Aadhya scared even for a minute.

"Those who wanted to leave can leave", She announced, and opposite to Greyson’s assumption, almost fifty percent of the white wolfs turned into their wolf forms and, after howling, ran towards the woods. None of the warriors touched them, but a few of the rogues that were circling Ryan’s warriors tried to lunge at them, but an earth-shaking growl from Aadhya and everyone stopped in their positions. Not even a single white wolf was hurt in all this.

"I thought you joined him to save the innocent lives, Reed. I am impressed that you are still supporting him after knowing what he did to all the infant white wolves that you helped kidnapping from their packs and parents. So, you seriously believe that those babies deserve the end they got?" she asked him, and though he was still silent, she could see the uneasiness through his tough facade.

"If yes, then according to your theory, jenny and her kid also deserves the death they got, didn’t they?" As soon as she asked him, he growled in a warning, and Aadhya could see him visibly shaking from rage, but she still doubted whether this rage was towards her or towards his own actions "see, everything looks fair until it’s not our loved ones who are going to be in danger" She stopped, and Ryan came behind her.

"I think you need these" He extended a large pouch towards her, and she smirked at him.

"I don’t need silver knives anymore" she raised her hand and turned it into a claw. "My claws have enough silver in them" then she looked at Greyson and reed "these two are mine" finally, with a single howl, the fight started. Everywhere growls and howls can be heard, but Aadhya’s attention didn’t waivered from Greyson. She is surprised to see that Greyson didn’t come directly to fight with her. Instead, he ordered Reed to come forward with a few wolfs to tackle Aadhya.

On the other hand, Greyson is just concerned about his and Aadhya’s safety. He has already given the orders to his people that Aadhya should not be killed in this battle. They are allowed to hurt her enough, which is curable. He also has to save himself because he knows his importance. If Aadhya had not received the crown, then he had planned to make her his heir. In that case, he would not have been afraid of his death but now, as he didn’t have any heir. He can’t take risks in his life... or whatever he has achieved till now with Lucious’s, and his efforts for years will end up in nothing.

He also doesn’t want to lose Aadhya again, so he is close enough to keep an eye on her every movement, but he makes sure to keep enough warriors with him to save him in case the situation arises, but for now, he is confident that they are going to win and hopefully kill the alpha king too.

On Reed’s order, almost five rogues and four vampires went toward Aadhya and no matter what Greyson’s reasoning is, giving the orders not to kill Aadhya is the biggest mistake of his whole life. Ryan wants to be with Aadhya during the entire fight, but he knows that others want his help more than Aadhya does.

A pair of vampires lunged at Aadhya, but she was faster than them, and before they do anything, Aadhya extended the claws of her feet and hand and stabbed both of them in one stroke... and similar to the wound given by Greyson... the wounds that were inflicted by Aadhya’s claws didn’t heal. Others didn’t even look at the wounded and lunged at her to grab hold of her. In all this, Reed was trying to understand the pattern of her fighting skills, but even after seeing her kill those nine warriors, he failed to understand so. He was unable to understand how she could be so good at half-transforming herself. He has seen many wolves doing this before, but they have practised for years, and even after that, they were not as fluent as she is. She had not transformed into her wolf completely till now, she was only converting her claws and snout, but still, when she was landing on the ground, she was always in her complete human form.

He ordered a few of the warriors to come with him while ordering others to be with Greyson and walked towards aadhya. Watching Reed finally come to fight, she felt a little less irritated. From the time she got to know that he put Dee’s life in danger, she wanted to have a one-on-one fight with him. Somewhere both of them knew what the result of this would be but still, they were ready to fight... especially Aadhya. She transformed her hands into claws and started walking toward Reed, who was already walking toward her. She killed each and every person that came her way, and the most gruesome thing is that she is not killing them instantly. She knows that the wound that she will give them will not heal itself. So, she is just giving them wounds that are too painful to even get up from their places while killing them slowly and painfully. When finally, they were a few steps away, Reed took the pouch that had Aadhya’s weapons and tried to take knives in his hand but failed as their silver hilts burned his skin. Aadhya was ’one wolf’ away from him when he tore the pouch, tied it to his hands, and took the silver knives.

Now they are in front of each other. Aadhya made the first move which was a wrong move made in haste. Reed was well versed with knives, and as soon she moved her claws towards him, he moved, and before her claws touched his body, he attacked her in full pressure and sliced her back with the knife. Aadhya was not expecting this, but she didn’t take time to steady herself.

"Are you alright?" Ryan mind-linked her instantly as he felt the pain through the mate bond.

"Everything’s under control here. Just focus on staying safe and killing as many people as you can" Ryan smiled and did what she said. He believes her more than she believes herself. Even on this battlefield, he knows that she will be alright.

Aadhya took her claws back and looked straight at Reed, who was waiting for her next move. She looked around, and her eyes automatically landed on the dead body of Shira, which was just behind Reed. She went towards a wolf that was lying unconscious near her. She grabbed his leg and hand and threw him towards Reed. It helped and distracted Reed for a few seconds. She ran towards him and sat on her knees mid run which caused her to slide to the ground. She slashed Reed’s abdomen deeply and reached near Shira’s dead body. She took the silver bun stick from there, which was dripping in Shira’s blood. When she turned towards Reed, he had already steadied himself, but from his expressions, she knew that the wound was very deep.

Aadhya knew that it was time to end all this, but then she remembered what the moon goddess had said about her soul. If things didn’t have happened this way, then there were chances that Reed would be her father. Suddenly her dad’s face flashed in front of her, and she heard the voice of her birth father, who sacrificed himself to save her life. "No, dads are not like that. Everything happens for good; I would never want a father like Reed," she said to himself, but Reed heard her words loud and clear.

"What did you say?" suddenly, he became soft, and his hand shook. "What are you talking about?" He shouted at her, and she ground her teeth.

"I said that I was glad that Jenny and her child died because no matter what the situation will be. I would never want to be called your child" She lunged at him and pierced the blade in his heart, and he didn’t make any effort even to stop her. He looked at her and then at her hand, which was holding the top of that blade. Blood came out of his mouth, but now his eyes were fixed on her.

"Are you, my daughter?" he asked, and tears flowed from his eyes.

"No, because that body has already died with Jenny... but I am glad you are not my father," she said bitterly and took the blade out of his chest, and after stabbing it a few more times, she kicked him and took the blade in her hand. She turned in the direction where Greyson was, and though he was still confident that he would win this war, he was getting increasingly suspicious if he could get a hold of Aadhya.

Without waiting for much time, she started walking towards him, and that’s when they heard many more people approaching the battlefield. From the sound, Aadhya knows that those were not the wolves as she can only hear human footsteps running towards them, but the speed is surely non-human. While Greyson was confused, Aadhya smirked at him. She knows who is coming... it is the vampire king.

When Greyson realised that he couldn’t keep his shit together, he ordered all the people around them to let go of everyone and just take Aadhya with them so they could go from there. Many wolfs lunged at her, and this time, she also transformed into her wolf form. All the wolfs that bit her got their mouths burned because of the high content of silver present in her blood and even on her fur but now she is also wounded because of so many bites. Aadhya heard a loud howl, and she knew that Ryan had already felt all this, and now he was coming for her.

"We need to take her and run from here", Greyson shouted, but more warriors of Ryan came there, out of which Aadhya recognised a few of them in one glance. One was the one who lost his deadlocks because of Aadhya, and one was the one whom she scared when she jumped from the tree. She was looking at those wolves who were trying to save her while her wolf was healing the wounds when one of the warriors from Ryan’s side lunged at Aadhya. He tried to bite her throat, but she moved from there, and he landed on the ground instead. She remembers the scent; he is the one who stopped her when she saw Greyson’s wolf for the first time in the woods. She didn’t take much time to understand that he was the traitor in the crescent moon pack who helped Reed and Greyson all along.

This single thought was so infuriating for her that before he hurt her or any other wolf, she transformed into her human form, again took the bun stick from the ground, and before he bit her, she pierced it through his snout. She could see him writhing in pain. She went towards the dead body of reed and grabbed her knives. She cut all four paws off the traitor wolf, plucked out the bun stick blade from his snout ruthlessly, and turned towards Greyson. If it were not for this wolf, she would have met with Greyson the same day. If this traitor were not there, then her Gramma and Ethan would have survived all this.

"Now I want your blood, Greyson. I want your blood" her body started shining so bright that even looking at her became painful. She turned into her wolf form and started walking towards Greyson. This is the first time that not only the pack members and white wolfs but the rogues too adhere to her command. Though they didn’t want to let her go near Greyson, they were unable to get away from the ’unsaid’ command.

"What are you doing? Stop her," He shouted at the wolves, but when they didn’t come, he shouted at the vampires "her command can’t work on you. Forget about catching her alive... kill her," he said to them, and now Aadhya can smell the fear from him.

All the vampires can feel the presence of the vampire king near them, which is enough to make them stop. Vampires don’t have a command system, and truth be said, vampires don’t have any proper system between them. The order of the vampire king itself is the system. All the vampires that were banished are on Greyson’s land because it forbids even the vampire king to enter here, but they knew that if they did any harm to the alpha king and Luna queen, then their king is ruthless enough to do something that is not even imaginable.

Shira’s death is a blow to the entire community of witches and wizards. She is a well-known name among them, and many a time, directly or indirectly, she has done something that helped them or their families. She was both a werewolf and a witch, and she is the only reason that werewolves started treating their species with respect.

Witches and Wizards were thought of as the weakest of all the three species in terms of strength, but they are the strongest in terms of brains. They knew how to differentiate between what is the truth and what is being faked, and the experience of Aadhya that they felt was a reality. A maximum of them have already left with the white wolves, but the remaining who fought for Greyson are already dead.

Ryan didn’t take much time to come there, but when he witnessed what was happening, he felt as if the air was sucked out of his body. Though he can see Aadhya walking toward Greyson in her wolf form, he can see that Greyson has already taken the silver guns of Aadhya that were lying on the ground, and he is warning her not to come close to him.

"I am telling you last time. Stop, or I will shoot you," but Aadhya is not fazed by any of these warnings.

"Aadhya, stop! He is going to shoot" Ryan mind-linked her and was about to go towards her.

"Don’t come between us. I promise that I will not die... but don’t come between us" He didn’t want to listen to her, but he also knew that this was not his fight. He has already experienced what she has been through, and this is stopping him more to not go in between them now.

"Dad, we don’t have much time left", he mind-linked Ben and lunged at a vampire who was going to hurt Aadhya. He tore him into pieces and started walking with Aadhya so that he could stop everyone from hurting her.

"I was wrong. You are not a miracle. You are like this because of me. If I can make you like this, then I can also make someone else like this too. I don’t need you anymore" Greyson said this and shot her in the shoulder. Ryan growled and was about to lunge at him when Aadhya’s wolf growled at Ryan. She transformed into her human form and glared at Greyson.

"He is mine," she growled at Ryan.

"But he just shot you" he also changed into his human form. Though he can’t see her body clearly because of those glowing designs all over her body, he can see blood dripping on the ground from her body.

"I promise I will live," she told her and ran towards Greyson, who again shot a few bullets at her, and even though one more bullet grazed her arm, she didn’t stop. With her each step towards him, he is becoming more and more scared of her. In the end, he threw the gun toward her and changed into his wolf form.

Aadhya thought for once that he would run towards the woods, but instead, he ran inside the building that she was in before. She was about to go behind him, but Ryan stopped her.

"Let me come with you", she didn’t deny this time. She nodded and looked at the wolves that were in her control.

"I am again giving you a chance to you for saving your lives," she roared, and Ryan continued.

"If you wish to join the packs, then you can wait. Council members are already on their way. If you still wish to fight, then our warriors and vampires are more than ready to kill you. If you wish to continue the lives of rogues but still want to live in this land, then you can proceed to ask for help from any of our warriors," he announced, and mind linked all his pack members to adhere to his orders. When he looked at the place where Aadhya was, she was not there. Instead, he saw her running inside the building, and he followed her.

Aadhya couldn’t smell his scent, but he forgot that he had just run inside a building with white flooring from a battlefield while his feet had blood on them. She didn’t take much time to find the room, but as soon as she entered the room, he stabbed an injection into her body. She fell to her knees instantly, and the very familiar pain travelled through her whole body. Greyson didn’t want to waste time, but he also knew that he couldn’t go near her until he was sure that she would not do anything.

He turned to take a few more things to help him tame her. Though it is excruciating for Aadhya, she knows that she will not get the chance to get a hold of him again. She gave control to her wolf and fought the pain. As soon as Greyson turned towards her, she jumped on him and dug her canines into either side of his throat. He screamed in pain as the silver-laced venom that was in her fangs travelled down his body. She looked around and found a huge tank filled with acid. She couldn’t say for sure, but she felt that there was a human body in it. She changed into her human form and injected him with an injection that was in his hand. Seems like this is one of the most lethal injections because when she injected him with it, he shrieked in pain, and his body became limp.

"Whom did you kill in this tank?" She asked him and put the same bun stick blade on his throat. "I am not going to repeat myself."

"Wilson... I did to him what he deserved," he said with loathing.

"Then it’s the same thing that you also deserve" when Greyson understood the meaning of what she was saying, he was shocked.

"You will not do that... I made you what you are today. I did nothing wrong," He shouted, and Aadhya took his hand in her hand and dragged him towards the huge glass container.

"Yeah, you sure did nothing wrong. I am also not doing anything wrong," he tried to thrash, but his wolf had already given up in front of the power of Aadhya’s wolf. His body is just a normal human body without his wolf. He has always been at odds with his wolf because his wolf never approved of the things that he did, but his human was more dominant over him. Now, finally, when his wolf got the chance to end both of their lives, he was not even trying to fight her. Her being the queen and white wolf both at the same time made her the most dominating wolf in the whole world, which is why she was even able to command the rogues. She started climbing the steps of the ladder because the container’s opening was high, while she was also dragging Greyson with her.

"Don’t do this, beauty. We both were born to rule not only the world but gods too. I can be of help in so many things that you can’t even imagine" he wasn’t ready to die.

"I do know that I can get many things by letting you live... but I am not letting you harm more families and more lives, Greyson" With it, she grabbed him and threw him in the solution. Although she was quick to step away, a few drops of acid still fell on the bullet wound on her shoulder. She winced and slowly came down the ladder. She could hear his shrieks, and she could see him struggling inside the liquid, but she ignored him.

"Finally, everything is over" She heard a familiar voice, but she couldn’t point from where she heard that.

"Who is there?" she asked and again took an injection in her hand.

"Hi, I am Aadhya, your wolf" she felt very weird about this.

"Will you please don’t surprise me like that? I was already scared when you talked with me before in Ryan’s room. You should at least introduce yourself," Aadhya complained and continued, "and why do we have the same name?"

"Our mom named us ’Aadhya’. Gramma named you ’Sofia’, but you never reacted whenever she called you Sofia. I think you were the first child whose first word was ’Aadhya’. After that, Gramma named you Aadhya. And that’s how we both have the same names." She explained, and Aadhya nodded.

She let go of the injection and looked around. She took the first clothing piece that she found there and wore it, "First, tell me how I can turn my body normal again. Although this glowing and all is awesome, I think I don’t need it for now," She asked her wolf and sat on the floor with her eyes closed.

"Done", She heard her wolf. She opened her eyes and looked at her hands that are now normal. "We will talk later; I need to transfer energy into your body..." Aadhya just hummed simply. A few seconds later, Ryan came and as soon as he saw Aadhya, he ran toward her.

"Are you alright?" he asked her, and she looked at him. His body is still glowing with those tribal tattoos. She nodded but didn’t remove her gaze from him.

"Did someone come for help?" she asked him.

"Yes, the war has ended already" he looked at the tank, and he could see that Greyson was still alive. "Dad and the vampire king will take charge from here. The doctor’s team is already on its way here. They found all the needed equipment in this building, so we are going to stay here for a while. Ethan’s and Shira’s body is in the room next door" a few tears slipped from her eyes, and that’s when she gave up the tough facade and started crying hysterically.
