Chapter 86: Chapter 86 - The final War Part I

Author’s POV -

Everyone around them just froze on their spot. None of them was able to believe their eyes, not even Greyson. Those few seconds in which Aadhya turned into her wolf were the mystic few seconds of their lives. It is not because everyone, other than Greyson, was considering her human but because of the colour of her fur.

No, her fur is not white. It is silver in colour. It is so much shiny that one can see his reflection in her fur. Her black eyes have turned into blue with multiple shades of blue and a bit of silver in between. She raised her head and howled loudly. This was the moment when her wolf released her scent, which she had been hiding for the last eighteen years to save herself. Her aura is so dominating that the rogues present there are already shivering when she has not even given them any command. Her wolf is the same size as Ryan, but it is more enormous than any other wolf in the whole werewolf world.

The rogue, which was grabbing Dee’s hand, was distracted and too stunned to focus on dee, so Dee took advantage of the opportunity, and after biting on his hand, he ran towards Aadhya. A few rogues ran behind Dee, but a warning growl from Aadhya was enough to stop them at their spots, and they took their steps back. All the rogues around them are looking scared of her, but the situation is a little different with the vampires. One of the vampires lunged toward them, but Aadhya’s wolf was so fast that she detached his neck mid-air and his body fell to the ground while his head was still in her mouth. She threw the bloody head to the side and looked at the others, who instinctively moved backwards.

While everyone was looking scared, an excited gleam could be seen in Greyson’s eyes. He is beyond excited to see Aadhya like this. He looks like a proud creator because, let’s accept it.... he is the one because of whom she ended up like this. Although Aadhya is the sole focus of all the people present there, she can easily understand what is in Greyson’s brain.

He took a step towards them, and Aadhya hid Dee behind her, and an earth-shaking growl escaped her throat. Greyson stopped, but the sinister smile was still on his face. "Beauty is all grown up, huh," he said while his eyes roamed all over her body.

"Aadhya, is it you?" suddenly, she heard Ryan’s voice in her head, and instantly she knew that he was mind-linking her.

"We need to save Dee... come fast. Ryan?? Can you hear me?" she tried to mind link in the hope that Ryan would also hear her, but she was wrong. Her wolf was unable to connect to Ryan.

There is only one thing going in her head, and that is ’she needs to do something soon and save Dee from Greyson. "Dee, get on my back" this time, she was successful in mind-linking Dee. She lowered her back a little, and Dee climbed on her. "Hold tight", She said and didn’t even waste a single second. As all rogues and vampires, along with Greyson and Reed, were standing between, she turned in the opposite direction and again climbed the stairs of the first floor.

As soon as they reached the first floor, she changed into her human form, covered Dee with her body, and jumped out of the window. Her shifting capabilities are so good that before they touch the ground, she again transforms into her wolf, and they land in her wolf form while Dee is safe and sound in her thick and soft fur. They got up from the ground, and the cuts that she received from breaking the glass had already started healing.

"Come on, Climb again, Dee", she again mind-linked him, and even though he was afraid, he climbed her back. "Hold my fur tightly... we need to get away from here alive" While Dee was climbing her back, she looked for a way to get away from there without hurting Dee. She can see people killing each other everywhere. Many wolves and vampires are already dead, while many are still fighting to die. She can’t help but think again and again about the situation. They all are dying because of whom?? It is easy to kill someone even though she has killed several people herself before, but it is not easy to face the aftermath of a death.

Instead of sneaking away, she raised her snout and howled loudly so that everyone could hear her. The impact of her howl was the same as she had expected. All the people that were near them stopped and looked in the direction where Aadhya and Dee were, and once they saw her, no one was able to go back to what they were doing. They all are looking at her as if she is an alien, and truth to be said; she looks like one. Whoever saw her was unable to do anything after that. She was moving on the battlefield like she owned the place. She was walking with so much confidence and aura that slowly, everyone stopped and came towards the place where aadhya was.

"You are not going anywhere from here alive", Greyson shouted from behind, but Aadhya continued walking. "What are you waiting for? Go and stop her. She can’t cross the borders" She kept walking straight, ignoring the footsteps that were approaching her from behind. She doesn’t have a fear of anything right now. She clearly knows what she is going to do, and no matter who comes behind her now, she will do the exact thing no matter what the result will be. As soon as she felt that the people were too close and she needed to react, another growl came from a particular direction in the crowd, making her look in that direction.

There was standing a huge jet black wolf whose fur was shining with the emerald green light, his eyes were also of emerald green colour, but the most glowing part in his whole appearance was the whitish blue crown which adorned his forehead. Though it is not possible to see his blood-drenched fur, it is still hard to ignore the amount of blood that is dripping from his fur on the ground. His eyes are trained on Aadhya, who has not even moved an inch from the time her eyes landed on the King. A pair of wolves jumped from behind him and attacked the rogues, and in a few minutes, vampires whom Greyson sent for Aadhya were killed. Another pair of wolfs came towards Aadhya.

"Addy", Dee whispered near Aadhya’s ear as all the wolves were unfamiliar to him, and he forgot the little meeting that he had had with Matt before.

"They are Layla and matt, Dee. You can go with them". She mind linked to him, and though he didn’t want to leave without her, he also understood that the situation was not in their favour for now, and she couldn’t come with him.

"Take him to some safe place", King, mind linked to Layla and matt. Both of them didn’t want to go anywhere without their mates and Aadhya, but all of them knew that Lia and milo knew each other fighting style more than they knew of their mates, and it is the same case with Mia’s and Ellon’s wolf. They gave one last look towards their mates and then sprinted towards the woods with Dee on Lia’s back.

Now, as Dee was in safe hands, Aadhya turned towards Greyson, and Ryan stood with her. "Can you hear me?" She asked Ryan, and this time she was successful in mind-linking him.

"Yes, you are not hurt, are you?" he asked her, and she nodded without looking at him. "Where is Ethan?" he asked her, and she couldn’t help but feel pain in her heart. Before she thought about Ethan or answered Ryan’s question, they heard a booming voice of Greyson.

"I have no issues with you, alpha king" He came towards them and stood a few steps away from them. "Here on my land, only those people who are banished from the outside world live. All the vampires, witches, warlocks, All the wolves that are ’rogues’ in your language, and all the white wolves that are banished by your moon goddess ... all of them live here. Don’t forget the pact that is written with the consent of all the ancient royal wolves. No pack, no king is allowed to attack this land," King growled loudly on this, but this didn’t even affect Greyson a bit. He knows that whatever he has done till now gives every right to Ryan to open an attack on their land, but he also knows that no one has evidence that can prove him guilty of doing all those heinous crimes.

King changed into his human form, but instead of looking like a normal naked human, he is more looking like a celestial being with all those glowing emerald tribal tattoos on every inch of his body. "No pact can stop a werewolf if you kidnap his mate", he growled at him, and Greyson chuckled.

"Kidnap, I didn’t kidnap her. She came on her own with me... and what you said? Your mate?" he stopped and smirked. "I just killed her mate a while ago, and even you cannot deny that you didn’t hear her cry howl" his body started glowing more and more with each word of Greyson, which is clearly showing how much he was mad at him. "This girl here belongs to me from the time she took her first breath in this world... and her last breath also belongs to me" King can’t stop himself, and a growl escaped his lips. Only he knows how he is holding himself back because this is about thousands of lives. He is not there to kill Greyson. He is there to end this matter forever because if he again leaves this matter as he left it on Lucius’s case, then someone will surely come and take Greyson’s place and use these people as a weapon to satisfy their goals.

On the other hand, Greyson is hundred percent sure that no one can take Aadhya from there. The moon goddess will never give her the crown because she is a white wolf, and without it, no one can prove that both of them are mates. Suddenly his eyes became unfocused for a few seconds, and when it became normal, he had a sinister smile on his face "now, take all your people from here, and this wolf is going to come with me," Both Ryan and Aadhya growled at him, and he laughed. "Let me complete first, beauty. I have someone dear to you, and I know you will not want that person dead, will you?" he said, and that’s the time when they all heard Shira’s painful shriek.
