Chapter 82: Chapter 82 - Introducing greyson

As soon as I reached a little near that wolf, he turned in the opposite direction and started walking slowly ... he was not concerned whether I was following him or not, he was not concerned about what if someone caught him, he was not even concerned that I can attack from behind. He is just confidently walking in a particular direction as if he is walking in some garden... {It’s not like I will do anything to him now, at least not until dee is in front of my eyes, safe and sound}

Am I really complimenting his confidence? I shook my head and followed silently behind him. It was the first time I met a white wolf in person, and I have to say that the legend is true about their beauty. Although he is walking in the dirt still, his coat is not even a little stained. He looks like a majestic creature strolling in the woods, not some serial killer wolf taking hostage.

I looked around and found us in the denser part of the woods. He took me towards the roots of the enormous tree and crouched down, and went inside a tunnel. That’s when my anxiety kicked in... {I can’t go inside}... I took a few steps backwards, but then Dee’s face flashed in front of my eyes... "Come on, Aadhya, this tunnel is just starting. You need to save dee. This is not the time to feel scared of the cramped places" I tried to boost my confidence and crouched down. I didn’t give myself much time to rethink this. I took a deep breath and sat on my fours... {actually threes.. can’t forget that sling}.

I had only gone twenty or thirty meters inside when my breathing became harsh, my heart was beating like crazy, and I was covered in sweat, but all this became easier when I imagined the laughing face of dee. "A little more, and I will meet Dee" I also thanked whatever god who gave me werewolf senses because this is the only reason I can even look in this tunnel or I don’t think a normal human can see anything here. After crawling for almost two hundred meters, the tunnel got broader and taller, allowing me to stand there, but I still had to bend a little. I found that white wolf is waiting for me a little away. His fur looked as if it was glowing in the darkness. When he saw that I had reached there, he again started walking, and I followed him... {If I didn’t meet dee after going through all this, then I would surely rip his coat off before killing him.}

We were in tunnels for almost an hour {yes, tunnels, because many times we reached crossroads (or cross-tunnels) .. obviously they will not make it easier for anyone to get inside and reach their secret place}. I am sure that if someone unfamiliar with these tunnels came inside, then he would get stuck in these tunnels for his entire lifetime... {If I succeed in rescuing Dee with me from there, then there is not even a little possibility of returning to the crescent moon pack through this route}

My neck is so sore from crouching down for so long that I am afraid that it will fall off anytime now. Thankfully I saw a little light coming from an end, and the wolf was taking me in that exact direction. Again the size of the tunnel shrunk, and again I had to sit on my fours and crawl towards the exit. When we came outside, I realised that we were not in the crescent moon pack anymore. Instead, we are on some unclaimed property. I looked at the white wolf, and he was just standing there and doing nothing, but before I understood anything, three rogues(in their wolf forms) and five vampires came towards us, but the man who made my blood boil was Reed, who came with them.

None of them even looked at me but bowed toward the white wolf. "Master, we did what you said. All the arrangements are made" the white wolf didn’t shift in his human form but nodded towards the vampires.

"You need to come with us from here," the vampires told me, but none of them came near me. Reed came towards me while wearing some type of gloves and extended his hand towards me.

"All your weapons and silver that you are carrying with you".. {And here I thought that they were dumbasses} I took my guns, blades, claws, and even the bun stick from my hair and gave those to him... {I can’t take the risk of keeping even one in my possession, they will smell it}

"Dee?" I asked Reed, and he looked at the white wolf and then at me.

"He is fine and unscratched for now" That ’for now’ that he added in last is wanting me to behead this bastard right now. I smiled at him and put my hand on his shoulder.

"It’s good that your mate and daughter are not alive to see this, or they would have died of humiliation" my words have the exact effect on him that I assumed. He clenched his jaw, and I could see the nerves pulsing on his bald head, but before he did something, that white wolf growled, and Reed took a few steps away from me while bowing to him.

"Sorry, master," he said to him, and I smirked at Reed.

"I will meet you soon," I told him and walked toward the vampires. "Where do I need to go?" Two of the vampires started walking in a particular direction while another two waited for me to follow them. I walked behind them, and they took me towards a black car {it seems like he is a fan of Hollywood movies}. I sat on the back seat, and two of them sat with me while two sat in front. We drove for a good two or three hours, but they made sure that they didn’t cross any pack border.

I am already guessing that we are going to the same land in which Mumma and daddy were killed, which guess soon turned into reality. They stopped the car, and as soon as I exited the vehicle, all the rogues, along with that white wolf and remaining vampire, came around me, and as they were panting, I am guessing that they were running along with us the whole way. The vampire who was driving the car drove away while others started walking towards the woods. I tried to remember all the way just in case I would be able to escape all this, but it was a bit hard.

After walking for a while, we reached a well-built colony. The houses are not as huge as in the crescent moon, but still, those houses are in good condition. I can see all types of different species roaming there, but none of them is looking violent... {well, I am not expecting that}... They took me towards a building, and only that white wolf and reed followed inside. I am already feeling nauseous here because of the scent of different chemicals. All these scents are making it hard for me to think rationally without panicking.

"Stop" reed stopped me at one point, and the white wolf went inside a cabin. "You are not going to be that confident for much time", he whispered, and I smiled at him.

"You are also not going to stay alive for much time", I fired back, and this again made him mad, but he didn’t say anything. After a minute, a man came out of the cabin where that white wolf had gone minutes ago. He was a middle-aged man with a bit of grey hair, but his face didn’t have even a single wrinkle, he was confident, and his face was void of any emotion... {I want to run away from here... dee where are you, love?}... I looked around, but there was nothing here except the scent that was making me extremely nauseous now... {calm down, no need to be anxious} I tried to remember if I had seen him anywhere before, but no, I never saw his face before... {then why I am feeling that he is going to be the reason behind my death}

"This side". As soon as I heard his voice, all my nightmares came rushing inside my head. I couldn’t help but back away from him and fall on my butt. My body started shaking on its own, and it was becoming harder for me to breathe minute by minute... {save me, Ryan, please. He is the same man, please. I thought that I could take care of this situation, but I couldn’t. I can’t face all that again. I can’t face him. Please come and take us from here... dee... where are you dee?}

Tears started flowing from my eyes, and I squeezed my eyes shut. I thought about all the happy moments that I shared with Ryan and Dee, which helped me in calming myself. When I opened my eyes, Reed was looking at me with confusion, but Greyson’s face was still the same. I can’t even express in words how frightened I am right now or how much I want to kill that bastard. I got up from my place, but my legs were still shaking.

Greyson didn’t spend much time and walked towards a door. I followed him slowly, with Reed behind me. We entered a small cabin where a few types of masks, protective glasses, and PPE kits were placed. Reed wore all the gear, from PPE kits to masks, but Greyson just wore protective glasses and a mask. I didn’t wear anything, and they also didn’t tell me to do anything like that. When they opened the single door that was on the other side of the cabin, I understood why they wore that protective gear. This room or lab is reeking of wolfsbane and silver.

"That kid is inside" as soon as I heard Greyson’s voice, I felt as if someone had sucked the life from my body. I ran inside, and when I finally found Dee. His tiny body is lying on a stretcher in the middle, and though I can’t see any scratch on his body, he is unconscious. My legs started shaking, and I became numb looking at him in this condition. I ran out of the door, quickly took a mask from there, and ran towards dee. I put the mask on his face and tried to wake him up.

"Dee, love, get up. Dee, I am here. Please open your eyes. It’s me, your addy." I took Dee in my arms and was about to walk out of the cabin when Reed came in front of me. I didn’t waste time and kicked him in the balls and went out of the cabin. I know that it is stupid to even think that I will be able to run from here, so I sat on the floor outside the cabin and tried to wake dee up. Reed came after a few minutes, and he was walking unsteadily, but when he saw me sitting there, he took a deep breath and again sat on the floor while covering his crotch area.

"It seems like you are extremely connected with this child. He was not lying" Greyson came behind Reed, and he was still calm and composed.

"What the hell did you want, Greyson?" He looked at me and then at dee.

"Nothing. I have what I wanted just in front of my eyes. Truth to be said, for the very first time in the last eighteen years, I am feeling content again."

"You wanted me right; now I am here. Release Dee. He is just a child" suddenly, a very weird gleam came into his eyes, and his expression changed to that of calm from excited seconds.

"Exactly, you got the point. A child, that’s the important thing" he came just in front of me and sat in front of us. "I got the best results from you because you were the youngest of all of them" he softened his gaze, and I couldn’t help but feel extremely scared of him, "after all, you are my beauty". I tried to form words, but no words came out of my mouth.

"You want me not to touch this kid, right" I nodded instantly, and he smiled, "then cooperate with me. See, I can’t tie you with silver, I can’t tie you with wolfsbane, and as you have already been blessed with wolf strength so, I can’t even tie you with normal things.. and you already know you are so precious to me that I can’t even kill you. So, I need something to tie you... and this little kid is the exact thing that will help me in it" I didn’t know from where the other rogues came, but they took dee from my hands forcefully, and before I do something, Greyson stopped me.. "ah, ah... now now now don’t make it hard for me, beauty. You know that a weak body does nothing but give poor results, and we don’t want to do that, do we? Now act like a good girl and come with me. You just need to cooperate, and dee will be safe."

"I will cooperate with you, but Dee should be in front of my eyes" he didn’t even waste a second agreeing with my condition.

"Reed, take the kid with you and come with us" he took us to the topmost floor of the building. The stench of chemicals is almost unbearable here. They again wore those protective gear, and I also put a mask and protective glasses on Dee’s face.

"You are not allowed to touch and hurt this kid, Greyson. If you do that, then you will never be able to do anything with me. I will kill myself" Greyson clenched his jaws at this and glared at Reed.

"If he gets hurt, then I will rip your heart out" his threat is so promising that I don’t think that Reed will even try to hurt Dee "and you, go there", he told me and pointed towards a glass box. I went near it and found that cuffs were already attached to it. "Go and cuff yourself" I looked at Dee and went inside that glass box. I cuffed my legs and one hand while Greyson was closely inspecting everything. "Don’t forget the chain on your waist, lock it" I did the said and again looked at dee... {it’s alright, he is fine, everything will be fine}.. "now" suddenly Greyson started acting like a mad man "show me" he is so close to jumping in excitement.

"What are yo.." he didn’t even let me complete the sentence.

"I said show me nowwww", he shouted in irritation. I can see that he is so close to losing his shit. Reed is also looking very scared by Greyson’s actions, and I am afraid that he will do something to Dee in all this. He caught me looking at Dee, and before I understood anything, he went towards Reed and took Dee from his arms harshly.

"No..." I shouted and wriggled, but I was unable to break away from it.. {these are not normal cuffs. The more I am moving, the more these are tightening around me}.. "leave him out of all this, Greyson", I shouted.

"Show me then."

"What the hell do you need me to show you?" I shouted, and he grabbed Dee’s neck harshly and was close to breaking it. I looked at Reed, who was himself looking wary of Greyson’s actions. "Take dee from him, Reed. He will kill him. He is just a kid," I shouted, but he was rooted in his spot.

"Show me the beauty. I want to meet my ’BEAUTY’...." he was about to snap Dee’s neck when I felt a wave of immense power coming from my body. I don’t know what it is, I can feel that something is happening with my body, but I am unable to understand what. Suddenly my senses became stronger, and I felt something tearing my fingertips. I looked at my hand that was in the sling and couldn’t help but gasp by finding sharp claws sprouting from my fingertips. Suddenly the pain covered all my senses, and I felt as if someone had broken all the bones of my body... "aaaaaahaaahhhhhhhhhhhh"
